Post-Game | Ryan Huska – 26.11.25

Maybe just speak to the difficulty of trying to battle back when uh you know the start doesn’t go as anticipated. Well, you can’t be down three nothing five minutes into a game. It doesn’t work against good teams. You’re not going to come back in those situations. So, um not the start we were looking for for sure. Anything stand out in particular about just the first 90 seconds of the game? Um rush coverage would be one for me. Um, you know, I don’t I just, you know, you for a team that’s really good in the first period like Tampa is, you have to make sure you’re on with your details. I don’t think our details were good enough early on in tonight’s game. And then we had a chance with some power plays late in the first period, try to get ourselves back into it and get a goal and and try to build a little momentum off that, but we weren’t able to get that done. Did you see anything that you know you maybe there was some momentum out of any of those power plays or any one that you thought maybe they they had a few chances um tonight. There was a few that were frustrating for sure for us, but they did have some opportunities. I thought their goalender did make some saves for them. Um, as did I think Kulie did when he came in for us. Was that as nightmarish as a start as you can really ask for? Three out of four shots go in the net. Yeah, it’s not ideal. That’s not ideal. Yeah, but yeah, as I said, you’re um let’s say you’re down three, you get power play opportunity, then capitalize on that opportunity and then you have a a chance to change a game. get a goal from fair be in the third period. I think that’s four and four games for him. Just uh maybe speak to his kind of tenacity, especially after getting high stick in the second. Yeah, he he’s he’s stayed with it this year and now he’s starting to get rewarded. So again, that’s uh it’s a good thing for us, it’s a good thing for him. He goes to the net really hard, so he spends a lot of time around there and and as I said, it’s nice to see him chip in now.
