NHL Highlights | Canucks vs. Ducks – November 26, 2025

He’s 27 and one in his career against the Canucks. Quinn Hughes had his 16th career game of 30 or more minutes on Sunday. Adam Foot saying Ray, he doesn’t mind the minutes so much. He’d just like it to come in shorter, more frequent shifts. Well, when they’re chasing the game, which is one off their club record in the last 20 years. Eight. Besser cutting in to the backand. Morazzic able to stop Brock Besser who rushed in a side by Morazzic. And after Hughes sends in Besser Morazz, he’ll head to the benches. Crider brings the puck ahead. Terry takes his pass and plays the puck to the corner. Duck send it around. Stro centers hit the bar and the puck goes high and out of play. Man, they’ve had a great start. Here’s Archie Baines in with a little spin move now. Oh, nice spinning pass and a shot wide by Marcus Patterson put in. Lenus Carlson to the side of the goal set up by Arch Deep Baines who bought some space to get the puck to the line and the Conucks open the scoring in Anaheim. His skating has picked up a a half a stride but this plays made by Baines who’ve been scratched five games in a row. You know what I liked about that? He’s not on his heels. Archie Baines, if he’s going to make it in this league, is going to have to create some offense, create some plays. You can’t play back on your heels and trying not to ever make a mistake because then nothing happens. Baines creates the play. The point shot hits the end boards and there’s Carlson. Here he comes along with Lome. Leo Carlson in the Vancouver zone. Hughes tried to stand him up. Lome goes across. Shot off the post. Great chance there. Now Carlson to the side. The horn sounds. Puck didn’t go in the jump and their D are going to jump into the play as well. Short-handed. Knocks win the draw. Second unit power play out now. Milander at the blue line near side of Ander Kane. Wrist shot scores. Kane puts it in. Fourth of the year. His first in nine games. And the Conucks on the power play make it two nothing. It matters. Sometimes it doesn’t. But man, you when you win the draw, it really helps. And that’s Kane that wins the draw. Valander and Heronic play catch. Heronic draws down the right side to Valander who takes no time to get this to Kane. And there’s a simplicity to this. Keith’s catch, release. The shot is perfect. And he’s got a fly by screen from Lenus Carlson. Backwinger just kept the puck in. Here’s a one-time tip, stop, rebound. Another save. And then the puck bounced over the stick of Ryan Stro as he It’s five on four here to start the second period because the Ducks are on the power play. Deander Kane off for crossch checkcking and the Ducks down a couple of goals. Start the second with a man advantage and they’re right in with a shot. They score. Jackson Lone 9 seconds into the period has Anaheim on the board. So off the face off the Ducks are in the zone. Watch where Person comes over top of the hip. Watch him number 40 here as that puck goes up the boards and Pety’s going to jump on this puck cuz he thinks he’s got a chance to get it out. But as soon as you don’t get it out, that opens Lome with all kinds of Look at him heads up. Gets to walk in, pick his spot and Lome signed a 72. Garland’s back here at the start of the second period. That’s good news. He’s got the puck moving it. Cuts across, finds Besser Scotlandic, and then the rebound wouldn’t go either. trying to force the puck out to center. And now Garland able to one-hand it ahead. Here comes Quinn Hughes trying to get around Mikov. Hughes to the net. Stopped by Morazzic. Ducks launch one ahead. Glove down by Frank Petrano who shoots the puck around towards Colourne. We’re just past the six-minute mark. There’s Toino making another save down the boards. Terry again. Garland takes the puck away after some good work by Elon. Now Besser trying to get behind the defense. Brock Besser turns looking for help. Garland takes the pass. Nice move. Another one and he scores. Conor Garland. Stick handling in a phone booth. And on the back hand, he puts the Conucks back up by two. This has been the best Conucks line tonight. They’ve not been in trouble defensively. Defensive plays, supported plays with the puck. And yet another freebie through the middle of the ice for Vancouver as Besser pulls away. Now he knows he’s not going to get all the way to the front as Lome’s going to catch him. But my goodness, what an unbelievable set of hands by Garland as he tow drags this deep into his feet around Hellison. Look at where Lome comes from all the way across the ice. Now Garland’s got to shoot it. No, I’ll do this instead and he draws Verazzic out of the play in the steps in on the left side. Hughes strips him of the puck. Sends a quick one ahead. Connects a twoon-one here. Kane breaking with Person Kane shoots. Hit the post. Person on the rebound to Bruss and that went off Pison I think diving back under a minute to go on the penalty to Lenus Carlson Rder moves in the middle. Nice move by Mcavish and a stop by Topilo earlier. It’s like he’s starting to figure it out a little bit. The the game is so much quicker than anything else he’s played. Here’s Zelwinger. Hughes the block. Rebound attempt. Stopped by Tom Hill and another one off the post. Carlson scores. Canucks don’t get the help on the high throw. Anaheim gets to it first and after Carlson’s initial shot was stopped. Terry’s going to get the rebound here wide to the net. He’ll wedge it off the post. It goes right through everybody. right back to Carlson who went back to the net. Chris Crider’s made a has made a career out of being in front of the net on the power play. He’s got the defenseman tied up and it goes back to Leo Carlson for that’s a mixup. Kane brings the bucket as he skates for Cissone and Carlson on this ship. Jackson Lome hit by Carlson gets the bucket. Here come the Ducks. Senica centers. Mctown scores. Back to square as Mason McTavish gets his fifth of the year and it’s 3-3 to set up McTavish. But the breakout pass here from Lome as the Canucks get spread wide. Person is too deep on the exit pass and then from that Lome backhander goes right past him. Now it leaves Meyers back on the two-on-one. Lome goes right up the guts of the ice to McTavish to Senakica and they play a little give and go. Look at this pass by Senica. The 19year-old holds and waits. You saw out Ratu in the penalty box. He’s off for tripping and on their fourth power play. They’ll start from their own end as Meyers drives the puck down the ice. Crider come on to join the man advantage. Terry drops one back. Philip the save and then Terry couldn’t get it onto the form spot on goal. Here’s Sherwood. It’s a twoman breakaway. Two on. Sherwood short-handed hit the post. Kemp couldn’t put it home in the rebound. Here’s Zelwager. One-handing one ahead. Kept in by Hughes. Quinn Hughes across Kane. Love save by Morat to Bruss. He and Valander haven’t really spent a whole block of time in a game that’s had a whole bunch of offensive zone time for both teams. O’ Connor wins the faceoff in place of Cone. This line had a good shift last time. There’s a cut to the net. Sherwood from the crease. Put it home. I think Cissone might have tipped it initially and Kefir Sherwood with his 13th of the year makes it 4-3 Canucks. much skill. It starts with O’ Conor’s faceoff win. Two minutes ago, he’s holding his breath, hoping they don’t score while he’s in the penalty box. He wins the drop. Dto D to Heronic. This puck is deflected off of Cissant’s stick. I don’t know if Sherwood gets to this actually. Watch this. This is going to deflect once, twice. I think this hits the right foot of Hellison and goes in the net. I don’t know if Sher got two minutes left. Here’s Senakut goalie heading to the bench. Ducks six attackers. Patterson Sherwood empty net instead of Okconor scores. Drew O’ Conor into the empty goal. His seventh of the year. And with a minute 52 remaining, the Conucks make it five to three. Swallowing hard and hoping they don’t score. He comes on the ice. He takes a face off. They win. They he wins a draw. They score the go-ahead goal. And after a tremendous play by Patterson and a really heads up play by Shawood to leave it for Okconor. Okconor Filipino lost his stick. Puck hits it at the side of the goal. Here’s a long shot by Trouba. Loose puck in front. Crider dishes off. Lakov in front. Tipped in by Goce with six seconds left. Cutter Goce able to steer that one over the goal line and make it a onegoal game. There go’s 14th of the season. He’ll lead the Ducks in goals here as Olo’s playing without a stick. The puck is going to bounce around the zone here and go will get to the front of the net as Lome’s had a three-point night. He finds Goce, but it’s not going to matter here. Although Anaheim’s going to call it Ducks send it back. Terry cuts up the middle gets the shot off over top of the goal and that’s going to do it. The Canucks get a couple of late ones from Cissone and O’ Conor.

Filip Hronek and Tom Willander each had a pair of assists on the night, Drew O’Connor sealed the game late in the third period, and the Vancouver Canucks secured a 5-4 win over the Anaheim Ducks.

  1. Did the Canucks for get to play D at the 3rd period? Lol, on the 4th ducks goal, Tolapelo is like now I know what Lank/Demco feels. Damn that shot total. The whole team D looks lost. like everyone just woke up, oh fuk we have a hockey game? We'll win is a win. 😅

  2. Conor Garland really just said "You want to trade this away?"

This guy WANTS to play in Vancouver and he's in everyone's trade talks?! Conor Garland is the definition of a Canuck. Give him the A.

  3. Sweep Cali and get back in the race in the very beige Pacific . Afraid of the Ducks? Oilers? Sharks!? KRAKEN??! Of course not. Show some fortitude and get back within 4-5 points of the division leaders

  4. Canucks need to shed Jim Rutherford. The guy can't stop making huge mistakes by opening his mouth. Its not transparency its sabotage . Enough! Alvin is fine Rutherford has to go.

  5. Dang canuckleheads, you need to get below Calgary in the standings, if we ever going to get that first overall pick you have to stop showing talent or at least blow it in the last few minutes, oh well next game, hopefully yields a zero 😂😂😂

  6. They couldn’t score on a 2 and 0??? Myers standing around like a giraffe, gawd I’ve never seen so many guys just watching the puck and praying for the clock to run out. If they blew this game in regulation, then I say trade the key slackers festering the team like a zit that doesn’t heal.
