Jowon Briggs was acquired for effectively nothing. A 6th -> 7th pick swap. He’s providing tremendous value. 22% pressure rate over the last 6 weeks. 6th in the league.
Not saying he’s a superstar but rather, another terrific example of Mougey’s eye for talent and role players that can elevate this roster.

Mougy’s trades have been very good 👍 it’s encouraging that maybe we have scouts and a GM that can identify talent 👏 I’m still not sold on Glenn though
Having a great pro scouting department is a huge advantage when it comes to talent acquisition. Having higher priced FAs hit is obviously important, but finding guys like Mougey has in these cost nothing trades has been essential to building a roster considering the talent disadvantage we have been at. Briggs, Metchie, and Brownlee are all young guys who should stick around for a while (add in Phillips as a veteran presence as well).
