But just moments ago, there’s a first place opportunity for the Los Angeles Rams tonight. A win and their path is clear. They control their own playoff destiny and potentially have the inside track for a one seat. You got an opportunity to send opportunity at the center, but that’s all that there’s so much more to this game now with that at stake. Everything happens for a reason, but it only happens if you take care of your business first. I don’t care about taxes. Come on. I don’t care about sex. I don’t want your bills. I want to hurt them. I want them repaid. Here we go in week 12, Sunday Night Football. Two division leaders, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and your Los Angeles Rams and the one seed in the NFC is available tonight. LA defensively forces a punt on Tampa Bay’s first possession. And so Matthew Stafford’s first opportunity begins from his own 20 yd line. Stafford to the air. Third down. Needs seven. Drives one right numbers complete on the inb breakaker. Devonte Adams moves the sticks. On third down and seven. Stafford straight back on play action again. Lets it go quickly. Puka across midfield outside the right numbers with a stiff arm and shouldered out at the 27. He can’t be stop. Puka flexing for 30 yds from the right slot. They’re in no man’s land here. Facing third down 19. Deep drop. Stafford wings one right side. Caught at the six. Toe tap. Toe taper. You’re unreal. Some tow drag swag from Puka. Pukah Puka. Another third down conversion of 20 yardds. The drive is alive. Rams looking for the first points of week 12. Boots out right. He’s got Parkinson open at the 10. Colobby to the five to the pylon. Great progression. 21-7 is the score. They want to get points on the board, but they want to manage this game with a 21-7 lead heading toward the half. Stafford play action. Deep drop. They’re going for it from their own 28 yd line. And they’re going for it from empty. Baker Mayfield alone in the gun. He needs two yards. Here it comes. Fourth down throws. Incomplete on a left side slant. Emanuel Forbes erases Sterling Shepard and LA has a takeaway on downs. Rams football in plus territory at the 28 yd line with a minute 39 to go in the first half on jogs Harrison Neas. This will be his first NFL field goal attempts. Meas’s first try as a pro as a Ram from 40. Off the right hatch. The operation looks good. The kick is pure and he puts it through the pikes. The thicker kicker Harrison Meas has three. His first NFL field goal extends the LA lead to 317 with only 62 seconds left in the opening half. 31-7 Rams is the score. A blowout, a first half destruction here at 05.
