  1. I find it strange how with his numbers and consistency he somewhat feels like a quiet, not talked about so much star. He is doing great!

  2. Insane how different our trajectory would look without him. We’d be ~.500%, 8th seed with no Vic timetable in sight and this entire sub calling for the head of every 25 and under player.

  3. But what about all the armchair GMs who are experts in NBA player contracts? Surely they couldn’t be wrong?

  4. Yeah. I have no idea why anybody was saying get rid of him. There’s no scenario where having 3 very talented guards is a bad thing at this moment. Castle, between the three of them, is the most flexible in the role he can play, as well. Most teams would love to have the kind of guard rotation we have. Fox is a legit All-Star, borderline All-NBA guard. We should be happy everyday we have Fox.

  5. he’s just a professional bucket getter. last night was a great example mid way thru the 3rd I wouldve swore Vassell was our leading scorer bc his shots were louder. Then the stats appeared on the screen and i was shocked he ran up that many points so fast

  6. “But but we overpaid him”

Haters in this subreddit apparently think salary cap room carries over and you can save it up for future seasons.

What they never seem to know is who else we were going to pay, that was a free agent, capable of pouring in 40 points on any given night, when we signed fox? This mythical player we should have spent all that money on that they somehow never name who would have been a better signing.

The reality is that fox haters actually know very little about how the cap works and how much 2nd options are getting paid in the modern NBA. They somehow think the spurs can wave their hands and have 15 superstars all foaming at the mouth to sign MLEs to come play here.

They also seem to think they know more than a front office with a fist full of rings.

  7. Of all the players that we xould have paid that money, I am okay paying Fox. He was the only one I know that wanted to be in the team. He asked Kings FO that he wanted to here.

  8. I did not know that zorro was fox in Spanish and thought Zorro was just a masked guys name and you were putting a random “the” in there like you were calling him The Steve lol

  9. Honestly I feel it would be easier to have Fox work for a while as the main option and see where Wemby fits in based off Fox getting to his spots, then after that gels then run more spots for Wemby. Feels like when Wemby has ball the whole team just ball watches

  10. Telling yall, when this team is healthy and fully meshed together under Mitch’s game plans, we are scary for any team in the playoffs

  11. Good news is aside from the warriors games, Fox’s 3 is falling at a career high rate. Turns out not playing with a broken finger helps

  12. Funny how loads of people wanted him traded a couple of weeks ago when he was clearly rusty from injury and no preseason.

  13. Remember all the people who came out of the woodwork making all kinds of anti-Fox threads when he had only played 3-4 games?

  14. He’s playing a more savvy games that’s less and less reliant on raw burst. I feel like we’re still seeing him at his best athletically but yet his craft allows him to be a walking paint touch and focal point on offense.

I move Castle and Harper, but it will take years for them to be the player that Fox is right now, and that’s ok, he’s in his prime

  15. as a recovering (former) kings fan I’m not sure whether I’m happy or upset that a fan base is appreciating his talent. the way kings fans turned on him makes me glad he is being appreciated here

  16. we were lucky we didnt lose that portland game rest of the team outside of fox and devin played terrible
