Knew he’d get another shot in the bigs. Serviceable lefty out of the pen. Hope he does well out west.
I hope he can get healthy and be effective for them – he was a solid bullpen arm and a good dude, it’s just so hard to come back from shoulder surgery (especially when you add in a knee injury).
Will be rooting for him!
Guys like Eli Morgan are the cautionary tale for good releivers that our organization no longer has a use for. Our front office is expert level when it comes to pitching. When it comes to hitting well….polar opposite. Everyone and their mother knows Nolan Jones needs to be kicked to the curb yesterday and we tender him a 2 million dollar contract. Our organization needs to 💯 overhaul our hitting analysts and get all new ones. Bringing in Jimmy Haslam and his random street bum that told him to draft Manziel could not be worse than our hitting analysts we have right now.

Well, he gets a major league contract this way. I figure the Guards would have signed him to a minor league contract, but this way he gets a full salary. Nice!
