home at Lumen Field this weekend to take on some familiar faces, at least for one Hawks player. Fox 13 sports reporter Ethan McReynolds has more from the Virginia mason Athletic Center. >> The Seahawks are still right in the thick of the NFC West division race, but this weekend’s matchup has some extra storylines attached. Sam Darnold is facing his former team, the Minnesota Vikings, for the first time since they let him walk in free agency after leading them to a 14 three record last season. And while Darnold has thrived in Seattle, Minnesota is four and seven and could be starting their third different quarterback of the season on Sunday. JJ McCarthy has been underwhelming when healthy and entered concussion protocol earlier this week, putting his status for Sunday up in the air, with undrafted rookie Max Brossmer waiting in the wings.
