NOTEBOOK: Jackson LaCombe insisted that “sometimes, that’s how it goes,” but the Ducks have now allowed the first goal in 15 of 23 games for 6-8-1 record in those games. What’s up?

Keep up the great work Zach
These are the underlying problems that were being masked my high scoring early in the season and getting on a winning streak. Unfortunately, great teams get a lead and shut it down. This was similar to Bruce Boudreau’s last full season with the Ducks. Always played from behind and came back. Made for exciting hockey but it showed when we made it to the playoffs.
The ducks don’t win every game they play, what’s going on? They’re near 500 when they allow the opponent to score first
Sometimes? ALL the time. Thats a big problem jackson. You’re as lazy with your opinion as you are with the puck
Our team as a whole is one of the worst defensively in the NHL, so yeah. Not very surprising we’re giving up the first goal most of the time.
Just gotta take a breath and shake it off no need to overreact, they did recover enough to stay competitive they just slipped up too much. And I’m sure they know they’ll need to be tighter than that to face the Kings who have a chance to claim the top spot by winning now.
