Hearing Sammy struck a deal with the Habs over the weekend. He’d play like shit and help Montreal win on Saturday. In return, Montreal would claim him when he inevitably got waived.
I liked Blais but I can’t say I’m too torn up that he won’t be a Marlie. There’s enough are-what-they-are veterans there already. Let Quillan and Haymes and Valis get the minutes, not Boyd and Lettieri and Sammy Blais.
I’m going to go with “HUGE NEWS”. By now, everybody knows what that means.
I really liked what Blais brought to the team tbh. He will be missed.

He wasn’t even bad here tbh, but he isn’t better than Quillan, and im expecting if Treliving makes a move, he’ll deduct from the current roster, which could mean Domi and Carlo are gone at the deadline with retention, even if the Leafs start surging, because the Leafs aren’t one the top 5 teams in the NHL currently, like the previous seasons
