He just sent a SERIOUS message… MAJOR Changes INCOMING

Doug Armstrong just sent a serious message to the St. Louis Blues after revealing that the play is dictating on how the rest of the season goes on the trade front. All signs point to a massive change and trade coming to the St. Louis Blues as the team continues to struggle early on. We’re going to break down these quotes from Doug Armstrong signifying something big is coming to the St. Louis Blues and so much more. And you’re not going to want to miss that. But before we get into that, I just want to give a huge shout out to everyone watching. Happy Thanksgiving. And if you’re part of the 52% watching this and you haven’t hit the sub button yet, but you want to stay up to date on everything to do around the Blues, make sure you’re going to hit that free subscribe button. Means the world. And in return, we’ll continue giving you daily updates around the team. But that Darius, let’s just dive in. I also want to give a shout out to Darius. He actually has zero power right now, but we’re still getting this video out for you guys. And going into this, the quote coming from Doug Armstrong on TSN says, “The players are telling me what to do with their play.” Now, this was speaking on the trade front. And as you can see on your screen with the play they’ve been putting out, this is a team that’s not going to be buying. If Doug Armstrong wants to lean back on his players to say, “Hey, show me that we deserve to make a run. Show me we deserve to buy and not sell.” Darius is looking up the stretch of games. Dropping the game versus the New Jersey Devils, losing to the New York Rangers, winning against the Islanders, but dropping a game versus Philly, Toronto, Vegas. There’s so many losses here. What is your thoughts of this team’s position at the moment? Yeah, recording from the same location, but no power, unfortunately. So, bear with me for today, guys. But, uh, yeah, I think it’s, you know, Doug Armstrong saying this is very interesting, I think, because there’s a couple examples around the league, even if you go back to last year, where Chris Jury of the New York Rangers kind of did the same thing where he put out a memo was more to the league and then it leaked to the media and then two players found out that, oh, we’re actively being shocked, right? and he was hoping that that would turn into lighting a fire under their butts, for lack of a better term, to get them going and to start playing well because the Rangers were off to a horrible start last year and then, you know, after winning a President’s Trophy, missed the playoffs. And I feel like that’s kind of what Doug Armstrong’s doing with this. I mean, nobody’s surprised by this. The team is not playing well, right? For him to say this, it does make sense. The team is absolutely telling us with their play what they want to happen essentially at this point. And if you didn’t want, you know, to be traded, you should be playing better. So, I think this could go either way because we do have a sample size from last year where a GM did something similar to this and it didn’t go well. So, I feel like this is a lastditch effort from the GM to say this group of players, if you do not get going here, there will be a change and it will be coming very soon. So, uh again, if it doesn’t work out, then he’s just going to make some trades. He’s going to start making trades and selling off some veteran players. And if it does work out, this team will turn it around and they’ll be good. So, I think this is a turning point for the Blues right now. We said it was going to happen near the end of this month that this week, maybe the next two weeks, we’re going to be the turning point for this team in terms of which direction do they go. And I feel like this is the last ditch effort from the GM to say, “Let’s try and salvage what we have here.” And if it doesn’t happen, you guys continue to play this way, which another disappointing loss against the Devils. Um, we’re going to start selling. We’re going to start making moves. I also want to give a shout out to Logan Mayu for getting his first point of the season with the St. Louis Blues last night. But the biggest thing is we’re seeing reports flying around. A lot of general managers like to dictate their season when you get to the American Thanksgiving. And this is the point of the season where we see the St. Louis Blues at the current moment. The third worst team in the NHL just above the Calgary Flames and the Nashville Predators. We can see a couple teams like the Vancouver Conucks and Buffalo Sabres teams are going to start selling. Nazam Kadri’s name has floated around quite a bit. You’re seeing Quinn Hughes in Vancouver with these teams starting to sell. If Doug Armstrong wants to get ahead of the pack and the game of trading off these guys, it seems like this is going to start to escalate. Darius, the biggest thing is we see the performance and the on ice. This does not look like the team that we seen coming into the season. We spoke last year that miracle run, not even a miracle. We’ve seen how good they were once they got their gear going in the second half. We’ve seen them take the Winnipeg Jets into a game seven that they should have won. All they did was add better talent to this roster and somehow this team crumbled. It feels like something needs to give within this team. You need to move on from some players. I’m not going to point fingers. I know a lot of people in the comments speak on three guys in particular. You can see a guy like Bulk. We know there’s someone like Braden Shen. Maybe you need a change of just how this leadership group leads this team that hasn’t been succeeding. But looking at this, we’ve spoke on so many rumors. We spoke on Jordan Bennington being linked to the Edmonson Oilers. Braden Shenn is going to be linked to every team in Ontario. We see it every single year. And Faulk is a guy that a lot of people paint as a Rasmus Anderson consolation prize if you don’t win that sweep stake. We’re going to see teams hungry to add that extra defenseman swing back. Do you think this is the perfect opportunity? And listen, we’re going to dive into this draft coming up and everything in this episode, but looking at this team, is there key names in your opinion that are almost certain to go if they’re sellers? Here’s how I look at this situation, too, because a lot of the fans are starting to say this season’s over. And there’s no reason to believe at this point in time that this team is going to turn it around. You haven’t seen anything this season so far that makes you believe that, right? And I do want to take uh another example from a couple years ago in the Dallas Stars where their GM came out, called the entire team out uh was saying that a lot of players, I can’t even say it on the channel. I want to keep it PG, but a lot of the players, you know, a couple swear words mixed in there, right? And they ended up in that same season going to the Stanley Cup final in 2020, right? So, they did turn it around. So, there is an opportunity for that. That’s what I want to make clear where I think Doug Armstrong’s saying something like that where he’s trying to get his team going. But I I I feel like it’s leaning the other way and like you’re mentioning, we got to start looking at certain players like when you talk about the leadership group, the captain himself, Braden Shen, is going to be on his way out. He might be one of the first players and they have an opportunity here where I think that, you know, they’re one of the worst teams in the league right now. What if you end up with a top five pick? What if you end up with Gavin McKenna, right? There’s a couple other players that it’s considered a more of a stronger draft as well. So, what if you end up with one of those players? That could really turn the franchise around where in a couple years from now, you’re looking at guys like D’vorski who’s going to be leading the way, right? You have Justin Carbono who looks like he’s going to be an elite goal scorer in the league. But if you have Gavin McKenna, a top five pick from this year’s draft, then you really are looking towards, you know, the next five, 10 years where you can be a dominant force in the league. If you’re not going to get going anyway, start to sell off some players, right? And like you mentioned, it is I wouldn’t trade Jordan Bennington. I want to make that clear. I’ve been reading the comments. I don’t want to trade Jordan Bennington. I’m just saying that, you know, there could be a trade there that makes sense for the Blues if they want to, you know, pivot at this point in time. But, you know, it is Justin Faulk. It is Braden Shen. Uh, if you’re looking towards the future, you get a top five pick, you’re leaning on guys like Carbono in the future, maybe you trade Kyu for a defenseman, right? Like something like that. We we start seeing moves along those lines. So, I feel like this is the turning point in this season. If the next like handful of games, and when I say handful, like three games look like they have all season, this team doesn’t look like they’re going to turn it around. He’s not only is he going to start making calls, I think he started making calls. I think teams are starting to put price tags on certain players like Ryan O’Reilly, for example. I think he’s going to start to make moves. He’s going to execute on something coming up here soon because he’s not going to wait till, you know, midway through December or January to do something. He’s going to sell off now. A lot of teams are very interested. So, he’s going to at least start kicking tires, I think, at this point. And I mean the big thing is you can even see reports coming from Darren Drager on early trading just from two days ago saying that a lot of teams are notably looking to shake things up. The St. Louis Blues are there. Wouldn’t be surprised if he does something significant over the days ahead. So we’re going into a stretch now. A lot of gyms are home with their family right now, probably on the phone when they should be talking to their family. But what we know this team is doing is looking at some way to either accelerate this point where you can get a top pick, which we’re going to touch on briefly. But Doug Armstrong has been active. He’s actively calling. We’ve seen him on overdrive. He says, “I don’t even know what’s true at this point.” When speaking about calling other teams, but Darius, the big thing is we’re going to do a full video, so I won’t stick on this too long. Right now, we know what the top three of this draft might look like going into it. Right now, the St. St. Louis Blues have the second best odds, only 0.5 less than the Nashville Predators to land the first overall pick. Listen, you can go out and get a great player, Gavin McKenna. You can see Otto Stenberg’s brother right there at number two. This is the opportunity for the St. Louis Blues, who’s not a big free agent destination. We know this and it sucks to say, but this gives them the opportunity to get a generational talent. They already have great talent on this roster, but Gavin McKenna or Stenberg completely shifts this team of fans. What is your thoughts? What do you want this team to do? Do you want them to try to just kind of push it out like 2019 or what we seen last year and make the playoffs? Do you want them to sell and go into a retool, rebuild, whatever you want to call it? Let us know your thoughts down in the comments. And speaking of comments, let’s go straight in comments today. Coming from Ace Rob. Great job, gentlemen. I hope you guys have a great Thanksgiving. Happy Thanksgiving to all. We want to give a huge shout out to everyone watching. Happy Thanksgiving. While you’re down in the comments, what is the best side to go with your Thanksgiving? Is it potatoes? Is it mac and cheese? Let us know all this down in the comments. But that’ be it for this episode. Make sure to leave a like, subscribe, share this with your friends. We’ll back another episode to keep your eye for that. But I’ve been your host Mark with my co-host with no power, Darius. And take your fence.

  1. A Family recipe we call Company Potatoes and its πŸ”₯.

As frustrating as this Blues season has been, gotta remember the things that truly matter, and what you're Thankful for.
    Happy Turkey Leg, Fellas πŸ—
    Thanks for the coverage

  2. Armstrong has to be the worst gm in the league……he's advertising that he's desperate to make a trade…Stillman needs to fire him before he does any more damage

  3. Your guess is good as mine, I think they have to rebuild . Hate to lose those players but we're going nowhere it's sad but true. Green bean casserole, mashed potatoes, or baked, sweet potatoes, hooters boneless wings, mild, ranch dressing, diet Mt Dew. Bottle, Shnucks no sugar added Apple pie carb smart ice cream do try to count my calories πŸ˜… take care!!!

  4. Before anything happens, they need to get rid of the Coach Montgomery and get rid of GM Doug Armstrong, he's not doing anything good for the team, once that happens, the Blues might start winning

  5. It's all blah blah blah until something shakes loose. Army f'd up after the cup win by getting smaller, flashier, older, and really no faster. Maybe it is time to move some vets for quality prospects and picks, go for a speedrun rebuild. Garbage this year and next, then go for the cup after

  6. army is the clown that got us in this mess .. and ott needs to go .. and if army goes hitchcock finally finally goes with him …for example there was no reason to extend booch or fowler ..we could of low balled fowler this season instead he get 6+ for 3

  7. I've lost trust in Army's ability to fix this team. He created this mess. Since the start of the '19 – '20 season, the Blues have won one playoff series.

  8. im sorry but the way mark pye talks just rage baits me hard. he talks in a very cyclic manner, saying so much without saying anything of importance, and he also has a very weird airy texture to his voice
