And the eating has begun. Look out, Turducken. It’s time for the MVP, and there’s a few MVPs with Tom Rinaldi and Aaron Andrews. Go ahead guys. We could not hold these guys back, not even close. They were patient up until a point. This is for Josh Jacobs over here, Jordan Love, Micah Parsons, the greater crew, everybody digging in. Let’s just start with the game itself though, Jordan. 4th down execution. The message all week be aggressive and go. What did this team show in those 4th down executions, especially the one that iced the game? Yeah, I mean, the whole day guys were making plays, and that’s what we needed. We knew we were coming into it, what kind of matchup it’s going to be. It’s going to be man coverage all up in your grill. You got to win, and guys make plays today. No question about it. Erin, you got to pick up that mic. I know you’re dishing out. Get to Micah here. Well, right here, I mean, first of all, you were screaming for the leg, Micah. Last year we had you and you had the invisible. You know the drill and we got your sauce. You deserve it after a day like that. I do, and I got braces this year, so I’m good. I’m good. And you were real good out there. Talk about just everything this defense was able to do, particularly you in this massive matchup, man. We just got a situation. I think Jordan was on fire all night getting us a position, and we just gotten a chance where we had to end the game, and I think that’s just what we do best when teams got to throw the ball. Get out the tricks and we just rush. We can do a lot of good things. We finally have a leg for you and we finally got the sauce for you. How does it taste? I’m not going to lie, much improved turkey. You’re welcome. Have some more and we actually have something else for you, Jordan. Love the Madden Thanksgiving MVP. There you go. Share it with your guys here. John Madden is such a big part of this day, such a big part. I know you told me earlier you grew up watching these games. What does it mean to you and to your guys here to play on this day and win? It’s special. It’s a big time stage and to come out here and get a win on Thanksgiving. I’m grateful for all these guys, grateful for everybody in that locker room, the whole team, and we just got to keep rolling. Dig in a little more there. I know you put that down. We earned it.   7. OK, here is what nobody else is saying. So, Brad Holmes and Dan Campbell are supposedly this genius head coach & general manager duo that have brought the lions back to life after being horrible for over 50 years right? Well, neither one of them can be that smart and I’ll tell you why. Everybody knows that GOFF is simply not a good quarterback when he has a bad offensive line and he is constantly pressured throughout the game, right? We all know that right? So, after our horrible loss to the Washington commanders in the playoffs last January, if Brad and Dan had been as smart as they think they are, they would have looked forward to this year and then made a valid effort to have fortified our offensive line by hiring some of the best available offensive lineman out there. Instead, they let the amazing lineman Kevin Zeitler go in free agency because they didn’t wanna pay him 9 million this year. They also didn’t make any plans for Frank Ragnow retiring either so they could replace him with someone comparable. Oh, and, they spent 3 of their 3rd round picks on receiver Isaac Tesla, instead of getting another good offensive lineman in the draft earlier this year. A wide receiver by the way that we don’t even use. So, if they were so smart, they would have strengthened our offensive line so GOFF could be good again this year, but they did not do that. That is why, in my opinion, Dan and Brad are not very smart. All of the other elite teams who wanted to be in contention for the Super Bowl this year, went out and took the action necessary to make their teams stronger and better while Brad Holmes and Dan Campbell famously uttered the phrase, “we’re good”… we don’t need anyone else. They repeatedly said that We have who we need to win. Obviously they were wrong. Therefore, the Detroit Lions are not going to even make the playoffs this year as a result of Brad and Dan’s over confidence and lack of action to make our team better. Plain and simple. It breaks my heart to think that this is yet another wasted season for the Lions. It really does. Brad & Dan: clueless, arrogant, overconfident idiots. Your thoughts?

  23. I don’t see the refs eating anything. For real though, Lions didn’t do themselves any favors, but that ridiculous false start, timeout thing was literally the difference.
