Bill Simmons ADMITS He Loves Watching The Miami Heat! Stan Van Gundy WARNS The NBA About Miami
I never thought I would see the day where Bill Simmons, the biggest Miami Heat hater, admits that he likes watching the Heat. So, the nerds are really talking about this trend. Picss are in decline, and the epicenter of this movement is in Miami. I don’t know if you’re following them. Then, Bill Simmons says, “I sure am. I hate that. I like watching them. They’re really fun to watch. This man said he hates himself. I told you guys this Miami Heat offense is on a tear. You’re gonna see a lot of other teams try to copy it and make their own version of it. Listen, it’s not always about pick and roll, but I still think you’re going to need the pick and roll offense, especially down the stretch when the game starts to slow down. But let’s get into the video. Yeah, they’re really fun to watch. I hate myself, but but it’s also unprecedented. They’re setting fewer screens than any team has in decades uh in the player tracking era by a wide margin. They’re just saying, “Let’s move the ball quickly and see if we can find a driving gap and attack it before anybody’s ready set on defense.” So, it is it’s fun to watch. People are comparing it. It’s like a run and shoot football offense. That’s a great analogy. They’re just going they’re trying to just get downhill and catch people when they’re backpedaling. Seems to be their entire strategy and it works. Yeah. They’re they’re they’re number one in pace. They’re setting the fewest picks in the league and they’re scoring by far more points per game even though they’re number 12 in offensive efficiency. Um but it’s a brand new look. I think last year Adabio set 27 picks per game. Bill, if you want to drill down on a player level, he’s setting eight picks a game this year. Um they’re just they’re just doing something completely different and they’ve they’ve they’ve gotten off to a really good start with a 12th ranked offense without great offensive personnel. Remember Tyler Harrow hasn’t played much at all. Bamabio’s missed time and they’re number 12 on offense. And by the way, this team is built for defense. They’re a top five defense. If Harrow comes back and he fits into this, which why wouldn’t he? And if Adabio is regularly available, I expect them to be flirting with a top 10 offense with this new look. The defense is great. Um, will teams around the NBA start to copy this just like they copied elements of the Spurs uh or Danton systems? That’s what that’s what the nerds are talking. Kaware is really taking this league by force. Zack Low and Stan Van Gundy with huge praise for Kow Wear. His development has been fun to watch. This last seven to eight games, he’s been as dominant as any big guy in the league. This is a legitimate leap happening right before our eyes. And that is why I told you guys we have to continue to push Khlo Wear. I don’t care who’s yelling at him. If it’s Spo, if it’s the other coaching staff, if it’s the players, if it’s the cheerleaders, Mickey, Pat, I don’t care who it is. We have to keep wear going. We have to keep him focused. I don’t know what Udonis has him told that man, but we need to have an iPad on the bench so that whenever Khil gets in his head, yo, you play or you show whatever Udonis has them told that man in the DMs. Like I told you, Khil Wear could be a dominant force. He is the difference between us winning a championship or not. Khil Wear brings something this Miami Heat team has not had since Hassan Whitide. You honestly have a double double machine that can shot block, rim protect, and help Bam out of bio. And this Miami Heat team needs to continue to lean on their young guys. Of course, you’re going to still have Tyler Norman, Bam, Wiggins. That’s great, but especially with Khil Wear, and in my opinion, they didn’t start him tonight, you know, versus the Milwaukee Bucks, but you got to start Khil Wear. You can’t take Khil Wear out of the starting lineup when he’s playing. This man’s averaging 15 to 15. This man’s having games where he’s having 20 and 20. This man is dominating right now and we have to continue to lean on that run. On the staff is the guy who works with him all the time. They’ve spent a ton of time together. Um last year we were in Indiana. Malik brought Khalil Wear to the Eastern Conference Finals against the Knicks to be able to sit there and talk to him about what that level is all about. They’ve invested heavily in in both Malik and Kell and that thing. And yeah, his development has been fun to watch. I mean, this last what, seven or eight games. He’s been as dominant as any big guy in the league. Yeah, this is this is a legitimate leap happening right before our eyes. It looks sustainable to me. Um and it’s not just like the gobbling up of rebounds. He’s had more than 10 rebounds in 10 straight games, I think, and it over 15 in a couple of those games. He had a 20 rebound game. Um, it’s the discipline that he’s playing with. You know, he’s still going to be tempted to just jump for everything, but he’s really dialing that back. Like at late, Stan Van Gundy on Tyler Herro’s debut with the Miami Heat offense. I thought he was great. He really got it going. I think the new style fits him fine. Yeah, they ran a lot of picker roles, but the bottom line is Tyler’s game is made to play off the dribble, so it’s perfect. And people have to realize he had 29 points tonight versus the Milwaukee Bucks. I know a lot of people are say, “Oh, but we’re not scoring 145 points.” It’s not about that. First of all, it’s about the W. Also too, you guys, you guys have to be patient with this Miami Heat team. Give Spo some time. We’re somewhat healthy. I think that, you know, there’s probably still some lingering injuries going on. However, this is the first time we’ve had everyone available. Bam, Wiggins, Pal, Tyler. We have to get the rotations in order to where at no point in time you should always have Tyler or Pal on the floor. Same thing Khalil or B should always be on the floor. So give give Spo some time to really tinker with the rotations. I understand he’s pretty much playing 10 guys, but that’s not realistic. Even if we have to slow down the pace a little bit, but you got to get the rotation in check. You got to be able to get the substitutions lined up so that everyone can pretty much play off each other and stagger everybody so that it actually makes sense so that when to when Norman pows out, Tyler can eat or vice versa. I know everybody wants to see this electric back court, but it takes time. It’s not going to happen overnight. Especially when this is our first game where everyone’s playing together healthy. I thought he was great. I mean, the first quarter he got off to a slow start and I’m watching the Heat broadcast and you know, Eric Reed asked John Croy, “How long do you think it’ll take to, you know, get him going, his legs under?” And John said, “Two weeks,” which I thought was reasonable. And it really it took till the second quarter. So, um, you know, he really got it going. I I think the new style fits him fine. I mean, yeah, they were running a lot of pick and rolls, but the bottom line is is Tyler’s game is to play off the dribble. Um, and so it’s perfect. And you talked about they’re running fewer pick and rolls. They’re actually running fewer pick and rolls than anybody’s ever run since they’ve started recording this. So, you know, that is really it’s an incredible the the whole heat transformation has been incredible from one of the slowest paced teams in the league to the fastest paced team in the league. We run a lot of pick and rolls. We don’t run any pick and rolls. I mean, it has really been a I I I don’t think I’ve ever seen that big a change without a coaching change ever. So, like I said before, give this Miami Heat some time. We’ve won six games in a row. We’re like what, nine and one at home. This Miami Heat team has been phenomenal. Bam has missed time. Tyler’s miss time. Pal Wiggins, bro. Everyone’s been in and out of the lineup. Give Spo the correct time. Tinker with the rotations. And I honestly think we’re going to be and bro, this Miami Heat team is going to be cooking. We are going to the Eastern Conference Finals. We are going to the NBA Finals. Don’t sleep on this Miami Heat

Bill is bill lol love him or hate him😅😅
Give them about 4,5,6,7 games with herro back to gel with everyone else and see how more dangerous the team will get❤
Let go heat!!! We got it this year definitely a Championship Run
Herro ruin our run and gun offense. Our score average just go down with just 2 games with herro
Bro let these loser fans be impatient.. who cares if they can wait or not.. nobody is paying Miami checks.. this weak fanbase is complaining about how many points while winning.. they will complain about anything and everything
These last two games remind me of last year. We don't need more PNR in the half court. We just need to continue building chemistry. Don't really know if herro fits this team. His numbers look good but our team stats dropped since herro came back. We had our worst two games back to back with herro. The team shouldn't have to adjust to herro. Herro needs to adjust to the team. History shows miami play better without herro
