Cuban is the biggest attention whore owner in NBA history. No other owner in the league actively tries to make themselves the face of their franchise (not even Ballmer), yet no one ever calls him out on it. Cuban was treated by the media as the face of the Mavs for all those years instead of Dirk, and he loved it. He always needed to be front and center. He was only comfortable selling his majority stake after he achieved bigger celebrity with Shark Tank. He needs attention like he needs oxygen.
Wade was the best player on the court in that series by far. From the 4th quarter of Game 3 onwards, he absolutely emptied the clip. Dirk missed his clutch free throws in Game 3 and Josh Howard made a stupid timeout gaffe in Game 5. The Mavs had chances and blew it.
