We’re going to be giving away a signed Hines Ward jersey. So, if you guys want a chance to win win that, make sure you guys join us on Sunday for our live watch party. Uh but I want to kind of dive into some of the good news that Steelers fans got on Thanksgiving. you know, while you guys were eating your turkey and, you know, your pumpkin pie and all that stuff, uh, you know, the Steelers didn’t have to move a muscle and their, uh, positioning in the AFC playoff picture improved. All right, so first of all, last night the Baltimore Ravens lost to the Cincinnati Bengals, uh, pretty convincingly, actually. They lost by 15 points to the Bengals last night. And uh it was kind of shocking because you know the Bengals defense is not very good at all. The Ravens only scored 14 points on the day. They had a whopping five turnovers against that defense. And it’s kind of a continuation of the struggles that we have seen from the Ravens offensively ever since Lamar Jackson returned to the lineup. Lamar just doesn’t look like, you know, his normal MVP caliber self at this point. And you know, I think the Ravens defense held up for as long as they probably could. They held Joe Burrow uh and company to a lot of field goals. They they kind of cleaned up a lot of the mess that the Ravens offense was creating for them, but it just wasn’t enough. In the second half, Joe Burrow and the Bengals kind of broke through. They started scoring some touchdowns, and the Ravens could not keep up. Uh I would say there was certainly some bad luck on the side of the Ravens uh last night which certainly contributed to the loss, but you know obviously this is huge for the Steelers because now because the Ravens have lost at least for now the Pittsburgh Steelers have retaken sole possession of first place in the AFC North. And if they beat the Buffalo Bills this week, uh they get a full game ahead of the Baltimore Ravens before they take on Baltimore uh in, you know, you know, at Mnt Bank Stadium next week and what’s going to be a big rivalry matchup. And you know, my takeaway from from yesterday’s game with the Ravens and Bengals was that first of all, the Bengals are not out of this race, right? They’re only, you know, they’re 4-8 and uh they’ve got two tough games in a row here. They got the Bills and then the Ravens again. But after that, you know, they finish the game with three very beatable opponents. So, if they can beat the Bills next week, which I would say is not impossible, I would probably still pick the Bills to beat the Bengals. But, uh, you know, you never know with Joe Burrow, um, you know, that Bengals team could go on a run there at the end of the season, just like we saw them go on last year. So, the Steelers certainly have to watch out for them. But also, the Ravens are not this, you know, you know, unbeatable, you know, unstoppable force. I think that a lot of people and including a lot of Steelers fans kind of feel like that they are. Um, ever since, you know, they won five straight games after starting the season 1 and five, the Steelers have lost four of their last six. So, just the momentum of the season feels like, or at least it felt like heading into this week that the Ravens, you know, were an inevitable, you know, force that couldn’t be stopped, that they’re going to win the division. Um, and the Steelers had no chance. But I just, I said it earlier this week, I just don’t feel like that’s the case because of how, you know, frankly, difficult, uh, the end of this season is going to be schedule-wise for the Ravens. All right, they have to play that same Bengals team two weeks from now. They have to play the Steelers twice. They have to play both the Patriots uh who are currently the number one seed in the AFC and the Green Bay Packers as well that one on the road to finish the season. So if Lamar continues to play as poorly as he’s playing frankly um the Pittsburgh Steelers have every opportunity to win the AFC North this season and you know they’ve got the schedule I think to be able to get to that nine or 10 win win win mark there to win the division this year. get a home playoff game, which of course increases your chances of winning that playoff game this year. Just the fact that you’re home and you know, you got Miami, you got Cleveland, those two games you should be able to win. Um, and then you should be able to at least split with the Baltimore Ravens, that’s three. And if you sweep the Ravens, that’s four wins right there. That’s more than doable. And that gets you to 10 wins. And you guys know if you’ve watched our preview for this week’s matchup against the Bills, I think the Steelers can beat the Bills. So that could potentially get this team to as many as five wins down the stretch and get to 11 wins, I would think, is probably the best case scenario. I kind of find it hard to believe the Steelers will go 6 and0 to win to finish their season, but I can seriously see anywhere between 9 to 11 wins being a realistic um spot for this Steelers team to get to by the end of this season. And honestly, I could see them win the division with any of those win totals, including nine wins. you know, if the Ravens really stink it up at the end of the season here and they lose to the Patriots and Green Bay and they split versus the Steelers and um you know, they lose the other game to the Bengals, it’s very possible the Steelers could win the division at just nine wins this year. Uh you know, that was just a massive loss for the Baltimore Ravens last night at home on Thanksgiving. Um, and then another thing that helps the Steelers in the AFC playoff race, this time in the wildard race, is that the Cowboys beat the Kansas City Chiefs. And now the Chiefs are six and six. Um, and you know, they pretty much can only take about one more loss and and realistically still have a chance to make the NFL postseason this year. Um, you know, obviously they got Patrick Mahomes who’s honestly playing at a really high level, but they just, it seems like they used all of their luck in late game situations on last season because this year they’re one and six in one score uh in one score games. So, Chiefs are definitely down bad right now. That certainly helps the Steelers’s case to potentially sneak in to the NFL postseason this year. Let’s say if the Ravens and Steelers both finished the year 10 and seven. Um, you know, the Steelers certainly have the could potentially have the um the tiebreaker over the Buffalo Bills and potentially others. Uh, and if Kansas City’s not in that discussion and they finish 9 and eight, obviously that helps out the Steelers chances of making uh that wildcard uh position there at the end of the season. But honestly, the bigger one right there obviously is that the Bengals beat the Ravens and now the Steelers are back uh with sole possession of first place in the AFC North, at least for now. It’s going to be interesting to see how the rest of the season plays out in that regard, especially because I’ve been saying it for weeks, guys. It feels like the division is going to come down to that final game of the year at Acer Stadium, Steelers versus Ravens. that feels like it’s going to be an early playoff game uh for those two teams and the winner will probably get a home playoff game. The loser will probably uh be booted out of the playoff picture entirely. So, that feels like it’s going to be an absolutely massive matchup. Uh but hopefully the Steelers can maybe even have the division locked up by then. I guess we’ll see uh what they can do in the weeks to come. if they can handle their business against Miami, if they can handle their business against the Dolphins, if they can win next week against Baltimore and in Baltimore, can they beat the can they beat the Bills this week? You know, those are going to be questions that we’re going to get answers to here, um, over the next few weeks, obviously, and I can’t wait to see how the rest of this season unfolds. But then some more good news, uh, we got on the injury front for the Pittsburgh Steelers heading into this week’s game against the Buffalo Bills. Aaron Rogers, DK Metaf, and Alex Heismith were all full participants in Thursday’s practice on Thanksgiving, indicating that they are going to be good to go um to play against the Bills on Sunday. So, that’s really good news obviously, you know, to have your number one receiver DK to have, you know, one of your top pass rushers back and Alex Heismith. And then, of course, Aaron Rogers. I mean, we saw what Mason Rudolph looked like last week. All of a sudden, Mason couldn’t throw a deep ball. It’s traditionally been one of the better things that he does. Uh just couldn’t do it last week. And you know that lack of a vertical passing attack really hurt the Pittsburgh Steelers at the end of the game. And um you know if you have it felt like if you have better quarterback play out there last week, the Steelers would have won and they would have won against the current number one team in the NFC North. So uh that’s certainly disappointing that you couldn’t come out with the win last week. But, you know, having Rogers back out there this week, um, I think should help this team out in terms of stretching, uh, the field. But, obviously, we’ve been talking about it all week, I think with the way Buffalo struggles to defend the run, the the focus has to be on getting the ball to Jaylen Warren and the run game and, uh, you know, making that the star of the show on Sunday afternoon. Uh but then uh on the other sideline here for the Buffalo Bills, it appears that they could be without both of their starting offensive tackles. Both Deion Dawkins and Spencer Brown, their left and right tackles, respectively, are dealing with injuries this week. They have not practiced to this point at the time of me recording this video during the week. And this is the St. Bills team that gave up eight sacks versus uh the Houston Texans. Another very good pass rush uh last week on Thursday Night Football in Houston. and Pittsburgh’s edge rushers are all expected to play, right? TJ Watt is healthy at this point in the year. Alex Heismith is healthy uh at this point. It seems like he’ll be back. Nick Herbick will be out there as well. Now, there’s some injuries to the interior. Derrick Harmon will not be playing in this football game. Daniel Aqual obviously is out for the rest of the season, but really the advantage that I think that the Steelers have in the pass rush this week is on the edges. So, you know, you’re going to be expecting TJ Watt, Alex Heismith, Nick Herbig to absolutely eat on Sunday. Uh, and that might mean Josh Allen tries to get the ball out of his hands quickly. So, if I’m the Pittsburgh Steelers, I’m really trying to get after Josh Allen because the teams that have had the most success against the Bills have been the teams that have blitzed him a lot and have put a lot of pressure on him because frankly, their wide receiver room, it’s not very talented. Uh, you know, it’s not the best in the world. Um, and you know, if you can put quick pressure on him, these guys are not getting open for him very quickly. So, he doesn’t have a lot of options. So, I think we’re going to see a lot of man blitzing from the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday and hopefully it’s going to it’s going to work out for the Black and Gold. I’m excited to see uh what this what this game is going to look like on Sunday because if you guys were watching our content this week, you guys know I think this is a very good matchup for the Pittsburgh Steelers and I’m I’m picking the Steelers to win this football game. So definitely excited to see uh if the Pittsburgh Steelers can win this game. It’d obviously be huge to go to seven and five uh in what has kind of proven to be a very weak AFC North uh division this year. Um getting that game advantage at this point in the year going into a big uh you know rivalry game next week on the road versus the Baltimore Ravens. A chance to really bury Baltimore. if you can beat the Bills this week and you have a full game advantage in the division and then you beat the Baltimore Ravens and you go up two games in the division um you know with with the number of games that you have left I believe at that point it would just be four games left I mean that would be a massive advantage for the Pittsburgh Steelers. So everything is still in front of this team. If you can win these next two games you feel really good about your chances not only making the playoffs but winning the division, getting that home playoff game and having a chance to win a playoff game for the first time in a very long time. So, um, still a lot of hope and still a lot of football in front of this football team, guys. So, if you if you’ve lost hope in this Steelers football team this year, I would implore you to, you know, keep that hope, keep that spark alive. Uh, obviously the Steelers have some things that they need to fix uh if they want to be a legitimate threat in the AFC by the end of the season. But I think we’ve seen both the offense and the defense here in Pittsburgh play at a level uh, you know, at different points in the season where we’re like, “Okay, this is what we’ve been waiting for.” or I think earlier on in the season, we’re like, “Okay, the offense is playing well, but the defense isn’t.” And then, you know, at certain points, the defense has played really well and the offense hasn’t. It’s about putting it all together at this point in the year. And in a very weak AFC, and a very weak AFC North, I I still think, you know, this Steelers team has all the talent to be able to figure it out at the end of the season. You can make the playoffs, do all those things, and then put themselves into the dance and then potentially go on a run. Obviously, they still have to put some some things together before, you know, they can legitimately do that. Uh, but I do think this team has the talent to be able to get there eventually. Guess time will tell if they actually do. All right, that’s going to be it for today’s edition of Steelers Talk, guys. Thank you so much for joining me here today. I’ll have another Steelers Talk video come out later uh later in the afternoon here for you guys to enjoy. Uh, but until then, guys, here we go. Steelers.

  1. Lions looked terrible yesterday, we could possibly run the table, yes im not drunk or on drugs, but i watched all the games yesterday and they are not the same team they were last year, if green bay cam walk in on turkey day and beat lions

  2. We all know it does not matter there losing to Bills 100% why can't anyone admit this team is not that good Baltimore is not that good but 100% better than the Steelers

  3. Geez, Triple good News? I thought you were going to tell us , that Tomlin got Traded for a 3rd rounder, We picked up a 1rst string WR, and of course Josh Allen has been placed on IR for the Sunday game.

  4. I saw all the games yesterday. The ravens losing means nothing because our shit Steelers will lose this week and then will get swept by the ravens. This Steelers team is mediocre garbage just like their coach.Yall need to stop holding on to false hope and accept this team for what they are.

  5. Dude, Steelers will finish at best, just like they have the past 7 seasons, .500 or one game better. They MIGHT make the playoffs, and if they do, they'll lose in the first round, just like they have the past 4 seasons. Need to lose Tomlin… He has no passion. You are correct, the Steelers will win the division at 9-8… SMH

  6. This is a very optimistic point of view, and it could turn out this way. But does any long time Steelers fan not believe that they could just as easily lose to the Browns or Dolphins?

  7. It doesn’t matter who the quarterback is Rogers ain’t throwing it down field either it don’t matter who’s starting or not starting for the opposing team because we don’t take advantage of it. This team is not good. Stop trying to pump us up like they’re gonna make it to the playoffs, cause they’re not.

  8. I honestly believe the outcome of every game is already set in stone by the controlers. At some point no matter what your team is your going to be proud of them and pissed off. It's all set up

  9. Stop with this crap. Tomlin and Mason Rudolph equals a big loss at home. You guys have seen this movie before. Play Will Howard and let's go. Stop being scared pussies.. I've been coaching for 30 years and coach with brains and balls. Even John Gruden says unleash the beast.
