If Mevis was out kicker all year, we’d be undefeated.

  1. The issue with the Eagles game was the defensive line was blowing up the Rams offensive line to block it.

  2. Galaxy Brain Take: we needed a struggling kicker for Sean to believe that going for it with this offense is almost always the answer

  3. I’m glad we aren’t. Too much pressure and our losses pissed us off and made us better.

  4. Dude, wtf was he gonna do against Jordan Davis? Kick it through him? We lost the Eagles game because McVay went hyper conservative and the defense couldn’t stop the pass. That loss isn’t on Karty.

Kyren fumbled at the half yard line against the Niners as well. Karty definitely struggled, shanked some REAL bad kicks but I’d say both our losses were a team effort.

  5. You never know. Mevis could have been the one who got the yips this year and we would be cutting him and signing some one else. That’s just the way kickers go.

Eventually we are going to cut Mevis because he is missing too many kicks and sign someone else. Could happen next year, could happen two years from now. Kickers have expiration dates in terms of consistency and production. Eventually all of them “go bad” and get cut. Mevis will be the same way, let’s just hope we get a Super Bowl out of it before it happens 🤞

  6. I believe kickers get a mental block. Let’s see what he does when the game is on the line.
