Colorado Avalanche at Minnesota Wild | FULL Shootout Highlights – November 28, 2025
to start the shootout. Wild in shootouts this year. Two and 0. ABS 0 and two. Zukarelloo in against Wedgewood. And he goes to the back end, makes it look easy, and scores. What patience? He’s so good one-on-one. He’s so smart, but it’s the patience that makes it so effective. He sells the low blocker shot here. Boom. gets Sedwood to go down and well when he got that much of the net hope he can slide it in. Marty Nous first to shoot for Colorado against Yesper Valstead who stopped 39 of 41 through 65 minutes. Nas in for Colorado and he outweights Ballad and scores on the back hand. You think there was patience at the other end? Nas might have trumped him. I see why he’s top in the league in scoring right now. Almost identical move to Zucarella, but this time he goes to his foreand faked hard back and boom. I get you all the way over there. Spread out the goalie. Hard to get back on your edge there. So, it’s one aside in the shootout. And here’s Carl Capriov. Two goals already in the game. And a save by Wedgewood as Capri tried to beat him to the stick side. Yeah, it’s that quick release that Karis likes to use a lot and come in and try to go from the goalies blocker side to glove side. Get him to move a little bit and wedgewood. He didn’t budge at all and held his ground and stayed out on top. Nathan McKinnon. McKinnon in and a save by Boston. He stopped him in the closing seconds of overtime. He stops him again in the shootout. Talk about patience staying with him. It’s that move you see from McKinnon a million times. It’s stick handle stick quick and they try saucing it high glove and having the goalie overreact to that. It’s his hands that get going so fast. Feels like you got to get going fast and goalie. Good patience. Matt Baldy for Minnesota. Baldi scores. How about the hands shown by Baldi on this play? It’s like an all-star competition this lineup that’s going. It’s uh it’s incredible. He maybe wanted to go backhand. He saw Wedgewood. Didn’t move. Stayed with him. Went back to his forehand. Similar to that Super Fake low blocker backhand, but Alexa to go high blocker on his forehand. And it’s Kale Mar against Fstead. Save by Volstead. And it’s a win for the Wild. They stop the 10game win streak of the best team in the NHL. It’s seven in a row for Minnesota. Well, they ran into the wall of St. Paul tonight and he finished with the Sally and a ton of big saves, but it’s a team effort. the defensive zone tight in front of the neck, not giving up second chance opportunities and you get timely goals from your superstar and it ends with the celebration that we’re seeing a lot now in St. Paul is the one knee slide across the blue line and shut down superstars like that in the shootout. It’s uh it’s a big win for the Wild sending Colorado off their 10ame win streak. It’s just patience hitting the ice by Wall, but that’s the best part of it right here. That feels good to hit that. I know that’s excitement right there. Keep his streak going his run. It’s been incredibly to watch. What a win for the Wild
