NHL Highlights | Lightning vs. Red Wings – November 28, 2025

here October 17. 31 saves. He was outstanding as the Wings won in overtime. Tampa Bay leads the Atlantic with 30 points, three more than Detroit. Yes, only three more into the slot. It went for Gensel. Played by De Brink on for Van Remste. Rink wide feed to Casper. To bring it to the net. There it is. What a stop. Oh, what a save. And then Tampa Bay. There’s the play. Casper [Music] over to Too bad a good chance like that goes away. It’s really not even a quality scoring. Well, it might have been quality scoring chance that doesn’t turn into one. Wow. Danielson threw it there, but just not perfect and scores off the bench. Comfort. [Music] [Applause] [Music] There’s a puck that’s just thrown around the and the goalender can’t handle it. And Comfort, boy, he ripped that baby right over Vaselovski’s shoulder into the top corner. But a good job by Rasmus on a puck battle that he won cleanly because of position and his size and strength. Wow, that’s picking a top corner if I’ve seen one for a while on conference. Long stretch pass is a beauty and a save made there of Homeberg. Plenty of firepower and Gensel with it. But Radish on the back end has been good with the man advantage for them. He’s got it now and fires one and scores. Wow. Yeah, he’s been good for him. A shot like that. He’s got a good one. And he’s on the first power play because Victor Hedman is hurt and he’s making the most of his time. Sees a right-hand shot where Hedman’s a left-hand shot. And you watch when Cooerov gets the puck back here. He puts it right into his wheelhouse where Hedman could not have made that shot as a lefty, but Radish could. Boy, that’s in his wheelhouse. All right. And right through everybody, including John Gibson. Boy at Mick that shot as we told you about tracking in last game and how it’s done. I didn’t know that story would have so many legs. Comes around for Paul ahead off Borkstrand. A race for it. Oh, pocket pick and they score. Gonzalez. Oh my. Goals like this really hurt. Good lord. Easy bouncing puck. Not much you can do about that. But see when when Johansson reached to his left, his weight came off his stick. She didn’t go to the left. Oh my. That’s back for Lillberg. Gets checked on. It goes for Yanny Gore to Gurgensson. Gurgensson to the middle coming back and they score. They bang it in. Although the Red Wings thought they had control of the puck, laying it back, but never really did. And the Lightning capitalize again. [Music] Yanni Gordon in the middle of it all again. [Applause] And he he’s going to get the goal, I believe. Too many white jerseys standing around the front of the net without getting knocked on their rear end. And Lightning have a two-goal lead way early in the second period. [Applause] Red Wings had the first one and then Tampa tied it on the power play. Here it loose in front and they score. They get even again. And it’s the hot shooter. Copper’s got two and it’s three to two. Net now. This puck hits the crossbar. Doesn’t go in, but it might be Appleton. 22 right there. And Ras Muen sticks his stick in there. It might be Ras Muen. Yes, it is. Yeah, right in front right basically the puck’s halfway on the line and Michael Rasmus now with a goal and an assist [Applause] brought in by De Brinket through the skates. Good move there by Casper. De Brink’s got it. Look for an open man across for Bernard Docker. He went down and a break here. Carried ahead by James. James with it. Late man coming. There’s a shot and a piece of that. Look at that play right there. Simple little play. Heads up. Boom. They’re gone. Du carried in. Drop back for Holberg. Loose in front. Look out. Gord scores. Oh my god. This play started right back in the Tampa zone after they knocked Danielson over there. Watch this guy right here. Boom. is in possession perfectly to take the pass and they’re gone. Dasus leads the play and then a broken play off the goalender. Uh will they challenge this? They’re looking at it hard of goalie interference. It looks maybe like Danielson might have driven him in. Will they go for it or not? We don’t know. But he is down and can’t make the save. Can’t see anything. Can’t feel anything. I don’t think they’re going to challenge. They shouldn’t. Boy, boy, oh boy. [Applause] Edmonson to Raymond. Ron Gonzalez. Larkin with it to the goal. Scores. Dylan Larkin makes it four to three. Huge goal. [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] Lots of Tampa Bay jerseys back there, but Larkin basically, you know, look at all five of them. They almost put a blanket over them. Raymond gets an assist on that play. Will they check for offside? Oh, this baby hit the catching glove of Vasalevki. Oh boy. Well, we never I used to sing in a warm-up, Aussie. Yeah. I don’t know about you, but you’re too busy showing But No, I used to sing all the time in the warm-up, too, Mick. And the songs they’re playing over the over the your warm-up songs. That that got me going. Yeah. Gourd back for Moser. This side to Radish Aister into a crowd. No goal. And an interference called off by Justin Kia. Whoa. setting up there beautifully for De Brinken in front. Oh, what a stop on Larkin. Then Kane. What a save by Baselki. Brings it in now. And the shot off Sherro. Anthony Celli finds him open. Hegel the shot. What a save. Oh, what a stop. And then shoot it back to the right. And this one was on net. The first one was not. He used a defenseman that may have gone off the rock stick as well and gets and gobbled it up. Two good opportunities by Hegel right there. And again lost it to Cooerov. Bad guy to give it to back. It comes for Radish. For Cooerovish fired one. They score. Tipped in front. Gensel going to the goal. A turnover. costly for Detroit and they’re down by a couple again. [Music] Not sure of the bounce there on Cider, but again, good puck movement by Tampa Bay. Is that Cooer again? And there’s a tip in front of the net with position is Gensel. Oh my, that thing changed direction by two feet. Off the boards out to center ice. Loose puck to Brinket across for Kane and forced onto his backand in deep and a save made. Nick Palmer Tampa by two and Kane just in a bouncing puck. Couldn’t get it to go. Larkin. Ben Remdsteike for Larkin. Off the pads of Vaselvki. Loose puck. He stopped the second one too. And the Lightning the other way with the empty net. And it’s Hegel who scores to make it 6-3. [Applause] You had a good game that kid. Now, mind you, he’s had lots of company, too. But, uh, they got the goals they needed when they needed them. There it is. Go to 86 and one. So, barely over 500 at home with a record on the road of five and five. So, [Applause] Under 10 to go and content just to move it back at center. Homeberg into his own zone and that’ll do it. As for a second consecutive game, the Red Wings fall by three here and the same score at six to three to Chris Osgood and Trevor Thompson. [Music]

Darren Raddysh continued his impressive season, recording a goal and two assists while Yanni Gourde scored twice to lift the Tampa Bay Lightning past the Detroit Red Wings 6-3 in a divisional matchup.

  1. The wings have a lot of young talent and potential, but that comes with mistakes. Goalie play has been a huge issue as well and might be their biggest problem. They need to do something relating to goaltending, maybe bring up cossa

  2. Detroit Red Wings is now my favorite hockey team because Detroit, Michigan makes me think of Iran 🇮🇷 because of comic book characters Spawn and Astaroth in Soul Calibur.

Hope to see Detroit 🏀 become Stanley Cup Champions again like 2008.

  3. Seider is overrated and Larkin isn't a Captain. A good scorer yes but he isn't a leader of men. He's too friendly with everybody on the team and he's not mad enough about the losses. Everybody on the team is happy they're getting paid and they don't really care about the record. The Red Wings have turned into the Cowboys basically. All they can talk about is their previous cups and rings.

  4. У Василевского очень плохая привычка,покидать ворота и как следствие пропускает гол,он что этого не понимает!?

  5. Another game, same problems. Zero physicality, the defense is a mess, and the goaltending (Gibson) can’t bail anyone out. Hard to win when every mistake ends up in our net and nobody plays with any edge

  6. Когда Вася выходит за ворота , это стопроцентно гол залетит через несколько секунд
Тот случай , когда не знал за кого болеть , больше за Уингс , так как очки им больше нужны

  7. Three goals got under Gibson's pads (2 were clearly through the 5-hoie). Bad technique. Too many softies. This guy is finished. Wishing for Lyon or MrAzek back. Sigh.

  8. I think Detroit should just put a 2×4 in front of the net…. That could prolly stop more pucks than Gibson's useless self. They really have no goalies at all this year worth a damn and a defense that couldn't stop a high school team.

  9. The defense is a catastrophic disaster. All of them are weak on their feet except for Chairot and Seider. Even Edvinsson has regressed this season. Docker and Johansson are both getting knocked over like wet boxes!

  10. No Hedman, No McDonagh, No Cernak, yet they only give up 3 goals. Not bad. Good D depth that has been missing recently. Vasy is a lot sharper though too.
