Danny drops SHOCKING Chiefs take after Thanksgiving L ๐Ÿ‘€ Cowboys made a statement, Title Plate | FTF

Good morning. Happy Black Friday. Thank you for spending some time with the FTFOT crew. I’m Danny Parkins, Willie Colon live in New York. Greg Jennings, Eric Mangini with us. I don’t know if it’s the trip to fan, it’s just early, a little foggy this morning, boys. How you doing, Willie? You full? I’m full. I’m ready to roll them. Greg, coach, how you doing? Uh, recovering, recovering, it’s inspiring. Greg ate everything. Greg, yeah, he ate something. He, he had to eat something. Well, you know, he doesn’t normally do it. Chiefs, Cowboys, 4 touchdowns from Patrick Mahomes. He was not the problem, but Dak and the Cowboys and that Cowboys defense, just enough for Dallas to pull off the upset. Chiefs now the 9th seed in the AFC and they lose almost all of the tiebreakers. So gentlemen, I cannot believe that I am asking this question. But Willie, I’ll start with you. Do we now expect the Chiefs to miss the playoffs? I do. I, I’m not gonna give up on the Chiefs. I, I’m, I’m gonna take a page out of your book. I believe after what they showed yesterday, even though they didn’t come away with the W, they still fought gritty and hard. Listen, I think the best position for them to land is to potentially go 11 and 6, right? But you talk. About the Texans ahead and the the Titans, and they got some worthy oppositions. I still believe the Chiefs have enough to get it done, um, but I think there’s so much on this offense to produce and to be the end all be all. This defense has to learn to close games just like the offense has been able to do, uh, try to do as of late. So, um, I think they have a shot, but they, there’s no more room for error. They gotta win out. Greg, I know you’re gonna be surprised to hear me say this because you mock me for my, by my belief in the Chiefs. I woke up today and I think we’re gonna be watching playoff football without Kansas City playing in it. Like, it’s just, they’ve made too many mistakes too many times. He’s bending the knee. I, is it, I. Whether it’s the, whether it’s the penalties, whether it’s the drops, or whether it’s just straight math, they lost to the Chargers, they won’t have that tiebreaker. They lost to the Broncos, they won’t have that tiebreaker, they lost to the Jaguars, they won’t have that tiebreaker. Like, can they win out? Of course, Greg, of course they can, but I don’t know now when they’ve lost 3 of 4 in all of these must-win spots. I no longer expect the Chiefs to make the playoffs, and I cannot believe that my mouth is able to form that sentence. It honestly doesn’t feel right. Well, it makes sense though. Look, what we’re seeing with the Chiefs is a team that is just not getting it done the way that we once saw them getting it done in every single area, most importantly in the critical moments of the game when the game has been on the line, we’ve always been. Able to watch a team whether the offense is on the field and Patrick Mahomes is able to lead them down the score and get a win or that defense and Sags is able to make a play to prevent a team from going away with a win, we’re just not seeing that and when you talk about the penalties, it’s everything. Everything is just kind of. Allowing this team to unravel at the most important times of the year and we just haven’t seen that in coach, you know this, like when you’re coaching a team that has the experience, you have the personnel, you believe in your guys, it’s just a matter of can we play a complete sound game of football to execute and get this done. Yes, we, we talk about, we’ve talked about this throughout the course of the season. Every time they win a game, then. They’re the favorites to go to the Super Bowl because they’re going to get in the playoffs and that experience will carry, carry them through, but then they, they, they lose the next game or they lose the game after that, and we’re looking at a 500 team and and and that’s, that’s realistically how they’re playing. You can’t be one of the top teams in the league in penalties and expect to win games and and and to win close games, and, and 10 penalties yesterday and 2 of those penalties came on the. Drive where Dallas was able to close it out that historically never happens. I really thought we were going to watch the end of that game where Patrick Mahomes got the ball back because the defense was able to stand up. He drives down, he either ties the game or he wins the game, but, but penalties allowed Dallas to essentially close it out. And then when you look at what they did defensively, they blitzed almost 50% of the time on Dax dropbacks, and they got 0 sacks. That’s very. Characteristic. Danny, you said it off the top. The drops, to me, the drops have been a problem all season. I know it’s not as bad as it was a couple of years ago, but it’s still, it’s still a problem, and this is a 500 team making 500 team type mistakes that you wouldn’t expect from, from a group that has this much experience. Yeah, and it’s another 1 score loss, but coach, like you said, it almost, the score was closer than the game. felt because they, they scored the, the worthy touchdown to cut it to 3, but then they never get the ball back, right, because they keep committing the defensive penalties. And listen, there were, there were too many flags in the, in a game of that magnitude ticky tacky. Yeah, I, I, I didn’t like all of the penalties in either direction with all the pass interferences, but like it’s just a, it’s not like, oh, Mahomes didn’t come through at the end. He wasn’t given a chance to because his defense couldn’t get him the ball back and. Willie, I’m just curious about this, like. I don’t know what it would say if I’m. In the Bills’ locker room, the Ravens’ locker room, the Colts, Broncos, any of those other AFC teams, when you won your Super Bowl in ’08, it was the one year in the Patriots dynasty when Brady got hurt week one and Matt Castle wins the 11 games, but the Patriots were not in the playoffs. Was there some sense or was it even, was it discussed of like, oh wow, this thing really is wide open because the team that’s owned this conference isn’t gonna be in the playoffs? Fifty-fifty, yeah, we understood that Brady was out and there was a big opportunity for us to rise, but we also had to deal with the, the Baltimore Ravens. Like they were in our way and they were a substantial team because of their defense and they were clicking on offense. So as much as we felt like we had a road to success because Brady wasn’t in town, we still had to see Ray Lewis in that daunted defense. So more we were dealing with more in-house focus than worrying about who was down the road like the Patriots. So, but if you’re the rest of the league, you do have to understand that, you know, the. The Chiefs look, they look weak, right? You talk about the penalties, you talk about the not the ability to close games, but I think for me it’s defensively, and you gotta understand, Chris Jones got the bad because of what he does in the 4th quarter, his impact alone on the field and how he dominates the and condense the pocket. We haven’t seen that version of Chris Jones. When you turn on the tape and you watch the Cowboys’ offense line, you see a young Booker from Alabama putting grown man hands on him and really saying, no, this is my time, this offense line is gonna rise. And they’re dominating the Chiefs’ defensive line. So this wasn’t about the Chiefs’ secondary not rising up. This was very much about this front seven not being able to step up and get after Dak, and Dak looked money good, man. So we gotta give credit to the offensive line for the Cowboys. It, it was jarring to see the cow, uh, the Chiefs in this position and it happening, uh, because of the Dallas Cowboys who Willie just mentioned. Let’s talk about that side of the game because now they’re the hot team and they in 55 day span. They beat the two teams that were in the Super Bowl from a year ago, right? You beat the Eagles with a 21 point comeback, and then in front of 50 million plus people, uh, you beat the Chiefs in a shootout. So coach, I want to start with you here. That’s an unbelievable statement win. 5 days after a really impressive statement win. What statement did the Cowboys send the rest of the league? They sent the statement that they’re gonna be a problem for for anybody they face and and the other really impressive thing about Dallas is is they’re improving and they’re improving in the area that was the the biggest problem which, which is defensively and and we’ve seen that since since the trade deadline, the significant. Growth that they’ve made defensively and look, whenever you have a new defensive coordinator, it does take time and as the season goes on and guys truly understand where people fit and how it’s all supposed to work together and you get those reps, you like to see that and then from an offensive perspective they can hurt you so many different ways and. And Dak is playing at, at a level that, that justifies the contract he has. He’s the highest-paid player in the NFL and he, and he’s, he’s playing like that and he’s, he’s providing leadership and, and, and a belief, uh, on the sideline that, that they’re going to be able to figure out a way to win. I thought the win over the Eagles was so significant because of how they did it and the resilience they showed, and then to come back and to not only beat the Chiefs, but to prevent Patrick Mahomes from getting the ball back, that, that’s, that’s huge and, and it’s meaningful. And, and defensively, this team is, is significantly better than what we saw in the early part of the season. Yeah, I thought their defense. On paper, they allowed 28 points, but it, it wasn’t easy, like for, for the Chiefs. A couple of those touchdowns come on 4th down, they’re allowing just over 21 points per game, like in the aggregate since the trade deadline, they’re allowing, you know, 312 yards allowed, like well above average for the Cowboys’ defense. So I do think the Cowboys’ defense has gotten better. I would say the statement from Dallas is they can beat anyone. No one wants to play them, but I will still operate under the assumption that the best that they can do. Is play spoiler because it, their schedule is easy the rest of the way. They only have one team that’s gonna make the playoffs, but it’s a situation, Greg, where like. You lost to Arizona. You lost to Carolina. Like, I think you dug yourself too deep of a hole that even though you’re playing great right now, good teams, maybe two good teams in the NFC are gonna miss the playoffs. And I just, I will still assume. I assume that this team is not going to run the table because I don’t think that they’re a perfect team. So I think that they’re gonna play spoiler. They’re getting better. The future is bright, but I don’t expect Dallas to, you know, all of a sudden be the 7th seed in the NFC and be dangerous come January. Yeah, look, the, the statement that they’re making is you better not slip up and let us get in the dance, period. Like with the, the confidence that this team is playing with, the now resurgence of what they look like and what they’re putting on film for the last couple of games defensively, this is a team, when you watch what they provide now. Defensively, and we know who they are offensively, you do not want to let get into the postseason. Now, I don’t, I’m with you, Danny. I don’t believe that they’ll make it because like they dug themselves too deep a hole. Now, could they possibly get in? This is a team that nobody in the NFC will want to face because they’re clicking on all cylinders. Dak Prescott and that offense believes that they are the best. And like he said in that presser, we can be in about anyone. We believe that we can beat anyone and when you’re, when you’re remaining on that schedule, when you’re looking now when we pull up the Dallas Cowboys schedule, a couple of weeks ago, we were looking at those, that Eagles game, the Chiefs game, and the, the Lions, those three back to back to back games like, oh there’s no way they can get all three. Now with the way that we’ve seen them perform, Willie. This team can definitely go into Ford Field and upset the Lions, and the Lions will then be in a situation where we’re already looking like somebody’s gonna get left out and the Dallas Cowboys are looking, if we’re not gonna make it, you aren’t either. Yeah, but I think coach hit it right on the head. they’ve been able to show that They can win ugly and they can win pretty. Yesterday was pretty, um, but when you talk about their operation, man, Dak is getting the ball all the time. You talk about his relationship with George Pickens, how we see him differently. CD had a bounce back game. Their confidence is going through the roof solely because of how Dak’s playing. He defensively, we could talk about Quinton Williams, you know the leadership he brings, but I think overshowingness has been money good. I mean, the, how he’s been able to cover guys out of the backfield, you know, really be a leader on that, in that, in that linebacker court. What I think happens right now for the, the Cowboys is they’re, they’re at the point where they’re like, it’s not who they play, it’s how well they can play, cause I feel like they could, they proved yesterday they can get a shootout with anybody, and that type of, that type of confidence this time of year, I mean you just can’t match it. So yeah, I’m. The confidence is high, but I think the 49ers will have to, what, lose 3 straight for them to slide in. Well, I mean, listen, that’s the thing. The, the NFC playoff picture right now is complicated because Green Bay and Chicago are right there at the top of the NFC North. Like, look, look at those teams in the, in the hunt graphic. Detroit is good. They’re really injured right now. They’re really injured right now, but I think they’re good. We all have to say that Dallas is good because of what they’ve done since the deadline and the two teams that they just beat, Greg. So, I, I don’t know who’s going to be left out, but I don’t think it’s, I think your point of like, if you don’t get in, we’re also not gonna get in. Like they, they have a real opportunity here to, you know, play spoiler for the Lions specifically, and then they’re gonna need help from the rest of those teams on that graphic. Yeah, you love being in this situation in terms of still having a shot to make the postseason if you’re the Cowboys, but also knowing that we’re good enough to where we can disrupt the landscape for everyone moving forward. And if you’re the Eagles. Look, I, I, it, it appears that they revealed that they have some real issues. We all kind of knew that they had some issues offensively in the passing game and what have you, but what the Cowboys were able to do to them on Sunday, it really put a Put a magnifying glass on, they better fix their issues really quick because this Cowboys team, just like we mentioned about Kansas City, it might be too little, too late, but can they run the table? I believe they possibly can, coach. Yeah, and, and, and you look at this, Dallas could be favored going into Detroit. It’s not like Detroit is, is having some, some fantastic run. Their, their arrows are pointing different directions for these two teams, and, and Dallas could easily run the table, go into the playoffs with a ton of momentum, and all the teams that you have ahead of them. They’ve all got issues. You look at San Francisco. Brock Purdy’s throwing 3 interceptions in the first half. I, I mean, you go right on down the line. Each one of those teams has different problems, and, and, and the difference is Dallas is trending upward and trending upward aggressively, and all those other teams are, are, are wallowing to, to some degree. Fourth easiest strength of schedule, uh, the rest of the way is Dallas. They, they only play one team, uh, that would be in the playoffs right now, and that’s the Chargers. Obviously they’ve got their division games at the end of the year. Jayden will be back, but the Cowboys certainly, uh, have a path if they win out, and yeah, if they can go 3-0 in that Eagles, Chiefs, and Lions path, we have to take. Seriously, we got some great football yesterday on Turkey Day, start to finish. Packers beat the Lions. 4 touchdown passes from Jordan Love, 2.5 sacks from Micah Parsons. They were honestly impressive on both sides of the ball, and, uh, the locker room was feeling itself. All right, coach Willie, I will be honest with you, that version of the Packers is scary. Like, like, to me that is the optimized version of what they are trying to be. And like Jordan Love, I have criticized him for not being a trustworthy player. Like, I think he’s inconsistent. Sometimes I feel like he doesn’t feel the rush or the game situation. Streaky, very streaky. But he’s a big game hunter. Like that guy throws the ball down the field, and yesterday on deep balls, he was just awesome. Like 4 of 6. On deep passes for 126 yards, 2 touchdowns, no picks, and in the 1st 11 games this year, he only had 1 touchdown on deep balls this year. So he’s always trying to do it. Yesterday, he connected, and when you combine that with yesterday, Matt LaFleur, he beat Dan Campbell at his own game. Matt LaFleur went for it on 4th down. 3 times. And the first one is a touchdown to Wicks on a deep ball. Again, it’s 4th and 2. Jordan Love, you’re throwing deep. This is another 4th and down. They’re not settling for a field goal. Hit Dobbs in the corner, and then maybe the scariest one, the one to ice the game just on the other side of the 2-minute warning. He’s getting hit, he’s falling back. Wicks loses his shoe and he catches it. So like, if the Packers are gonna connect on their deep balls. And convert on 4th downs with touchdowns and game icing drives, and Mike’s gonna be a closer for you, Willie, that’s the scariest version of this team. Yeah, and I thought the ultimate stabilizer for their offense was Josh Jacobs. He had 4.9 and pop, and I thought their ability to run the ball throughout that game really opened up their offense where there was a threat down the field. And then you gotta give credit to the big uglies up front, man. I mean, Jordan Love didn’t get touched. I mean this is supposed to be a daunted Lions rush that really gets after, especially at home, Thanksgiving game. I was worried for the Green Bay Packers off his line, but they didn’t get to sniff Jordan Love, and I thought you saw him get comfortable and more confident throughout the game, solely because of how well they ran the ball, how well they protected, and Jordan Love, I mean, he showed up in a big way, so big win. Coach, what did you think? Yeah, I, I’m still with you, Danny, and I, I, I’ve said the same thing about Jordan Love throughout the course of his career is he is streaky and when he is on, he is on and, and when he’s good, he, he’s awesome. And, and really this Green Bay team, look, look at Micah Parsons. This, this was the Micah Parsons that was advertised when they made the trade and you saw the impact that he had in the game, but that’s been inconsistent as well. So when those things are hitting. Both are hitting. They can play with anybody. They can beat anybody and, and, and, and that’s obvious. But this is a little bit about Detroit as well. I don’t think Detroit’s really solved the problems that, that they’ve had in terms of, of changing out the player play caller with Dan Campbell and, and, and hoping that they’re going to be as explosive as they have been historically. You know, in terms of going for it on 4th down, Dan Campbell’s gone for it 7 times since, uh, week 11 on 4th down and not made any of them. So maybe, maybe he needs to gamble less. And on the flip side of it, um, You know, going for it on 4th down, I think is, is great, but we did kill Nick Seriani when he went for it on 4th down late in the game to try to seal it, and it was incomplete. If that ball had been incomplete, I don’t know if we’re having the same conversation that we’re having right now, or we’re saying, how could, how could, how could LaFleur have possibly made that decision. It worked out great, but, but again, we, we killed Siriani you, you know, many weeks ago for, for making a similar decision that didn’t work. I, I, I agree completely that that’s the Packers. They, they are, they’re, you call them streaky, they’re very boom or bust like. It’s 4th and 2. Why are you throwing it 30 yards down the field, you know what I mean? Like that’s, that’s not, it doesn’t seem necessary, but, but it works. But I think it’s important when you’re playing in a game like that, you have to match the intensity of your opponent. He knows what Dan Campbell was trying to do. He understands that, man, we’re hot. We’re doing everything we need to do on offense. If I got an opportunity to continue to put the dagger in this team, I have to be solely because of the personnel and the arsenal that Detroit has. So I, I credit. Floor, man, because I felt like he’s like, man, we’re not losing this game, you know, if we gotta go, if we gotta play chicken, I’m not losing in the game of chicken. Yeah, he, listen, that, that, that version of them was very, very impressive and can they do that for 3 straight road games in the playoffs and a Super Bowl? Like can you carry that streak and that level of variance through? I’m not sure. I have, I have my doubts, but like that version of them, if they get it, is a very, very dangerous team. Now boys, I’m skinny, but I can eat. I can eat, so I am going to build you the perfect title plate, breaking down each team’s chances at the Super Bowl in everyone’s favorite, uh, fashion today, food. So you’ll figure it out as we go along here. We begin with, I gotta keep them on my plate, 5% shot to win the Super Bowl. It’s the Chiefs, and what’s that, what is that on the plate? It’s Brussels sprouts. It’s like out of obligation. Do I wanna put greens on my plate? No, I don’t. I’m not looking to be healthy on Thanksgiving. It’s a thing of gluttony. But until the Chiefs are eliminated and then the NFL says we’re gonna add an 8th seed until they say that they actually are. Out of the playoffs and the ball is kicked off wild card weekend and the Chiefs aren’t a part of it, I will keep them at 5% at the very bottom. Next up on the title plate also coming in, 5% chance of hoisting the Lombardi, cranberry sauce, Daniel Jones. Do I love it? No. Am I really confident in this? No, but it speaks to how wide open. In this whole thing is like, I still think they’re gonna win the AFC South. They’re 8 and 3. If you’re gonna win your division, you’re gonna get a home playoff game. You’ve got an awesome offensive line, you’ve got a great running game. They have the ability to score with anybody. Do I think they’re winning the Super Bowl? No, but they’ve done enough to this point that I think I got to include them as cranberry sauce. Coming in at 8%. The New England Patriots, right now, this is sweet potatoes, they’re my secondary potato. Like, I love them, I’m happy, but you’re not my favorite potato, you’re just the potato that I’m including on this time of year and the reason would be I. I don’t really trust who they’ve beaten and the easy strength of schedule that they have, and I love Drake May. I like Vrabel. They’re gonna have the bye, I think, in the AFC, so like it would be a fool not to, I’d be a fool not to have them on my plate, but like they’re, I will be very surprised. They feel a little ahead of schedule to me in order you think they’re one and done. I think that they’re very vulnerable to be one and done. And, and let, let me, let me see them play, uh, Buffalo and Baltimore out of the buy and like see how they match up in that, in that spot. So I’m keeping them at the bottom here, but still, more, more than the Chiefs is an immense amount of respect for sweet potatoes. I, I, I mean for the Patriots. Coming in at 10%. I know they lost last night. The Baltimore Ravens, you’re stuffing. You’re there, you’re going to be in the playoffs. You’re going to win the division, and then you’re going to be scary. Like it’s just, it’s a part of January. You have them win the division even after the loss. I, I still trust the Steelers. I, I still trust them more than your Pittsburgh Steelers. I do. The Ravens defense, not great yesterday, had been better. I assume Lamar will get right. Maybe he won’t. Maybe that’s a huge assumption on my part. But again, the AFC is so wide open, only at 10%. I don’t think any Baltimore fan is thrilled right there and right there, equal to them at 10%. My Super Bowl pick from before the year, the Buffalo Bills, and then I made them pumpkin pie because pumpkin pie is my favorite part of Thanksgiving, and I don’t have pumpkin pie any other day of the year, and why is it my favorite? Because I picked them to win the Super Bowl, and again, their best. I, I think, arguably best. Like when Josh Allen is locked in, if they can get a good defensive performance, they can beat anybody. But those are two huge ifs. If Josh is locked in, he’s had more turnovers recently, their defense hasn’t been able to stop anybody. But again, you’re gonna see an emerging theme here, 5%, 5%, 8%, 10%, 10%. I don’t feel good about any of these picks. Don’t sound like it. I don’t until we start jumping up a little bit here. 14% Seattle Seahawks, mac and cheese. My wife’s star dish at Thanksgiving, cannot wait to get home and have some leftovers of that today. I came away. McDonald’s having a great year. Their defense is awesome. They almost beat the Rams even when Sam Darnold had the worst game you could possibly have with 4 interceptions. JSN is a, is a monster. It’s just, it’s a mainstay. And even though they’ll be the 5 seed in the NFC, I think nobody wants to play Seattle this year. Just above them, one of my favorite foods, the Philadelphia Eagles come in at 15%. They’re mashed potatoes. No one’s gonna complain about mashed potatoes, even though everybody in Philly is complaining about their version of mashed potatoes. Maybe they got the potato skins in them and it’s just like not your favorite type of it or whatever. I like it more whipped up with some hot gravy on top. That’s not the point. Point is this, they’re the champs. They have the most impressive resume in terms of who they have actually beaten, and if Jalen Hurts and that offense can figure it out, they are arguably the scariest team in the NFL. So what’s that big portion of the plate? Who’s the main character of Thanksgiving? Turkey, 33% chance for the Rams. This is simple. They’ve got the best defense. They have the best quarterback right now. They have a coach who’s proven that he can do it. So, coach, I think the Rams deserve to be a heavy favorite to win the Super Bowl, and I have built you my perfect Thanksgiving, AKA title plate. Oh Danny, I, I, I see your plate. I, I, I like what you did with the turkey. I, I agree there. I, I don’t know what was in your glass though because it must have been filled up quite a few times when you put the rest of this together. I don’t know how you have Baltimore where, where you have, where you have Baltimore ahead of New England. I, I, I think you watched the same game that I watched. Yesterday, but, but still somehow they didn’t get that percentage of the plate, and, and what’s missing is you don’t have any roles. You don’t have any roles. How do you, how do you not have a role as a part of, as part of your plate? And, and to me that’s the Denver Broncos. And, and how can you not have the Denver Broncos on your plate? So they’ve won 8 straight games. So there’s that. And then after the 8 straight games, then we got 11 straight home games. So, so they’re approaching one of the longest home winning streaks in a while. They could get the number 1 seed and then if they get the number 1 seed, guess what? They’re going to be playing at home. Guess what? They’re really good at home. So, so the fact that you don’t even give them a 5% chance and you have the Chiefs who again. Underperformed and I get it. I get it. It’s the Chiefs, so we just got to keep, keep eating the Brussels sprouts, even though we don’t like them that much, but we keep eating them. And, and you don’t have the, the crazy uncle or the relative who causes problems. To me, that’s the Dallas Cowboys. They’re, they’re the ones that are going to disrupt the whole dinner just like they just ruined, you know, Philly’s lead up to the holiday and, and Kansas City’s, uh, you know, holiday, uh, The holiday yesterday. Alright, well, I listen, I just can’t see, uh, sometimes you don’t have room for bread. I didn’t have, I didn’t, I didn’t have room for both. I got a lot on your plate. I had a lot on my plate, Willie, I’m going with that pumpkin pie. I’m gonna take that slices and, and break it down to a sliver. The, the Buffalo Bills right now defensively, they, they can’t stop the run. We’ve talked about that. And offensively, Josh Allen, I think he’s been forced to do so much. I think that cape is wearing thin. I thought. He took a bad loss against the Texans, but he actually looked like he regressed, and I think overwhelmed they’re just not overall they’re just not clicking as a team, and I just don’t, I, I’m, I’m worried about the Buffalo Bills right now. I know they have my Steelers this weekend, but, uh, it’s, it’s a lot going on in Buffalo. Preview, uh, that game will feature prominently in Parkin’s picks, and I didn’t think I would ever be hungry again after the performance I put on yesterday, but seeing that plate, I kinda am.

Danny Parkins drops a shocking Kansas City Chiefs take after their Thanksgiving loss against the Dallas Cowboys, who made a statement after beating both Super Bowl LIX teams in four days. Greg Jennings, Coach Eric Mangini and Willie Colon weigh in, then discuss how scary the Green Bay Packers are after shocking the Detroit Lions on the road. Danny then unveils his Title Plate of the teams who have the highest odds of a playoff run and Super Bowl title.

  1. No, I don't think the Chiefs are cooked. At least not yet. Of all the games they had left on their regular season schedule, the one they could most afford to lose was the one to the Cowboys, because it was an out-of-conference game, meaning that it wouldn't hurt them very much when it comes to potential tie-breakers, most of which they lose because of losses to other AFC playoff hopefuls. However, if they lose any of their home games to either Houston, the Chargers, or Denver, the latter two being teams that have already beaten them this season, then I do think they repeat what happened with the 1994 Buffalo Bills, which missed the playoffs entirely after going to the Super Bowl four consecutive times and had played in 16 post-season games (a full season's worth) from 1988-'93, including five AFC Championship Game appearances and those four successive Super Bowl trips. The Chiefs have played in 20 post-season games over the past seven years, and I've believed since early this season that this is the year where the bill for all those deep post-season runs comes in, just based on the way things were progressing.

  2. Chiefs VS The FRUCKING refs!!!!๐Ÿ“ข๐Ÿ˜ค๐Ÿ“ข๐Ÿ˜ค๐Ÿ“ข๐Ÿ˜ค
    Give me a break!
And everyone knows it as the country watched the refs bailout the cowboys with 5DPI?
    I call BS!!
And if the refs keep calling dpi bs flags against one team of course the other team is being provided 1st downs to continue their drives!!!!

And this is a NFL officiating problem across the league because, I have watched it all season in many games that weโ€™re not the KC Chiefs!!

I will say this ..why kc stops running attack is crazy..and letโ€™s remember the chiefs played 3 days prior (thank you scheduling) the top nfl team colts with bad officiating again in a win and fyi in the cowboys game we lost #6 on defense and 3 offensive linemen!!

Lions are going to beat them cowboys on Thursday night!๐Ÿ‘

Weโ€™re still a dynasty and the AFC has become a more competitive and regardless, if chiefs are in the post season or not just as New England who didnโ€™t win all 7 straight SBโ€™s in a row!๐Ÿ“ข
    Anyways โ€ฆโœŒ๏ธ&๐Ÿฅฐ

  3. At some point, Mahomes has to be held accountable for his inaccuracies, and the fact that his offense didnโ€™t score enough points. Regardless of the defense.

  4. I honestly canโ€™t believe this second-rate, always-the-runner-up network keeps letting Nick Wright push the nonsense that the Chiefs are the best team in the AFC while theyโ€™re barely hanging onto playoff relevance. Itโ€™s embarrassing โ€” and exactly why nobody takes them seriously anymore.

Fox keeps finishing in second place and keeps doubling down by handing the mic to clowns like Nick Wright. Itโ€™s become a parody of sports media at this point. Complete joke.

  5. After years of watching the Chiefs ride the refs through tight games, and suddenly seeing them collapse, over and over, without all the calls falling their way – with their veterans throwing their hands up in disbelief at not being bailed out – it's a little disappointing to not hear the change contextualized. Like, if they got the calls this year, like they did last year, they'd probably have three losses. Maybe less. And if they didnt get them last year, they'd have been worse than a 500 club for most of the season. I dont know if its all the betting scandals getting the league and the refs worried, or if someone said the wrong thing to the union, but this football team doesnt seem worse than the one I didnt think was good enough to get to the Super Bowl last year, they just arent in favor, at the moment, and I'd like to see that reasoned with.

  6. The Dallas Cowboys are now the first ever NFL team to win against two Super Bowl contenders from the last Super Bowl in a span of 4 days apart. The first was the Cowboys win against the Eagles at 24-21 and now the Cowboys win against the Chiefs at 31-28.

  7. Saying that this chiefs result is โ€œjarringโ€ is hilarious. They have been this same rollercoaster all year. They play great one week and awful the next. This is the 2025 chiefs, accept it

  8. They canโ€™t and wonโ€™t win out, quit living in the past, teams donโ€™t stay great, why canโ€™t the media just call it like it is? The chiefs arenโ€™t good enough to win multiple games in a row

  9. If the chiefs don't make the playoffs its cuz they not good enough and lost to many reg season games so those other teams just see them as a team who didn't make the playoffs and where those kc fans at saying the reg season doesn't matter
