Disappointed? Sure. But not with the team, just the loss. Didn’t come into this game other than hopeful. Stars are tough and this compressed schedule is helping nobody. Still proud of the boys, love to see them keep finding adjustments as they go. Big hugs to Keller family.
(Reposting here) I’ll be honest, I don’t hate this loss. Yes, it was an incredibly undisciplined team tonight but it was an incredibly emotional night too. Plus, I’d rather see an undisciplined team that WANTS it versus a disciplined team that isn’t even trying. Big changes that we can still see in these late November games versus early November.
Dallas Stars named Clayton Keller as the first star in the game!!!!
This is another reason to love hockey – we all come together in trying times.
When it comes down to it, I just am quite fond of this team, the players, the coach, the opportunity to fall in love and learn a new sport to me the same way I know and love other sports… it’s been awesome. Hockey has grown on me in a major way, and it’s become a staple. It’s frustrating, but I’m glad that they’re at the point where a loss bothers me, because it means I’m attached to this team.
I hope Keller is able to feel the fanbase love and support. I don’t know what it’s like to lose a parent, but I have lost a brother, and it isn’t easy in the least, especially to go out and play a game within 24 hours. Good vibes to him and his family.
