I mean I kind of get it, but at the same time I don't. Kuminga and Mathurin are very similar, with Kuminga being taller, and Mathurin an upcoming free agent, maybe we are trying to get a cheaper/bigger version.

Kuminga certainly attacks the hoop with aggression, his shot has improved, but his shortcomings mirror Mathurin's, so I'm not sure Rick would be the coach for him.

Do we want Kuminga? If Mathurin doesn't want to re-sign or we know the price is asking isn't what we are willing to pay, then I get it.

  2. I mean if you could turn Walker into Kuminga then sure but we all know that would never happen. This is a non story though.

  3. Kuminga is the guy I’ve wanted since he was drafted. As long as the contract is realistic. He’s not a superstar in the making, but he does offer a useful skill set that can work on our team.

    Key is I want Kuminga AND Mathurin. If it’s just one I’ll stick with Math.

  10. If your able to buy low sure why not. The pacers have consistently done well in trades buying low on guys like Obi, Aaron, etc.

    You would have to think he would do well in the fast paced Haliburton led offense.
