And then the Chiefs team, let’s be honest, I don’t know if they’re that good anymore, though. Like I look at the wide receivers like Rasheed Rice, he’s good. And after that, it’s like a whole bunch of guys. They get the kid worthy. He’s he’s supposed to be a 42. I’ve never seen a wide receiver that’s supposed to be so fast and don’t play like it. Like Tyreek Hill is a 43 42. Um Deshawn Jackson for you see it. I don’t see it. Am I Wait, real quick. Ao. Yes sir. You play defense and he’s from Texas and all that. Texas hangout crew and it’s your boy. Does he play 42 to you? Not like Jack did. He don’t play. Not like Jack not like yo you supposed to be that special maker. I don’t see it. They don’t take really no shots deep. And then Brown Hollywood Brown like he’s he’s slowly coming around but like like where you at? Yeah. you. They They also shot themselves in the foot a lot though, too. Ao drops. A lot of drops. That’s part of it. The Chiefs um that’s the ball. Let’s be real though. The Chiefs are done. Wow. Even if the Chiefs make the playoffs, they will barely make the playoffs. And how can they go far? Realistically speaking, they don’t have enough ammunition on offense and they don’t have enough game changers on defense. Remember, I was bragging about Trent McDuffy. Bragging. He a dude. He that dude. CD Lamb took Trent McDuffy everywhere. Yeah, true. M all the work that Trent McDuffy could handle, CD Lamb gave him. Sure, one of those PI calls may have been Phantom. I don’t care. The Chiefs had no plan to stop the Cowboys wide receivers. And then the Chiefs had no pass rush. Chiefs had no nothing. Chiefs literally had nothing. Defensive line didn’t get after Dak. Linebackers weren’t making any types of plays. And the DBs were getting embarrassed. Then offensively, run game, not explosive. Mahomes had four touchdowns, no picks, and they still got that work. And I didn’t even feel like it was a close game. I get it was a three-point game. I think my final score 3128 if I’m not mist they were down 11. He had to have a late game like it didn’t feel like a close game at all. And then here’s the worst part about it. You know George Pickkins going to run a slam. You playing a yard inside of George Pickkins to keep him from running a slam and still getting beat. And he still beats you inside. He nice though. He the nicest. But there’s nothing more emasculating as a grown man on a football field than when somebody telegraphs their punch and they still draw blood. Yeah. No, he’s right. You’re right about that. Like Pickkins was telegraphing his punch. Everybody in their mama knows he running a slant and the Chiefs couldn’t stop it. So with all due respect, Chiefs, y’all had a a fantastic threeear Super Bowl straight run, but you’re not going back to the Super Bowl this year. Hopefully you make the playoffs. Hopefully. Yeah, but we got to play with respect though on George Pickings though and CD Lamb like and I I think George Piggin is phenomenal player. I’ve been knew he was nice. He’s needed the right quarterback in the right in the right system. And now you also got a number one receiver on the other side. People don’t even account for that and as great as he’s doing, but that matters. We got a other allp pro on the other side, right? And if you watch CD Lamb, he was giving McDuffy that work and people don’t give McDuffy that work at all. So as you look at this and another thing, everybody want to throw out Dak Prescott’s name and Dak is playing well. Can we give Shotti some credit though? Shotty is is doing a great job. Shotty is dicing it up out. Yeah. He’s putting the defense where he where he wants him at right now. And he’s getting a one-on-one. So now when you trying to find CD Lamb, you forget you got George pick on the other side. One-on-one backside. And then when you reverse it, then you got CD Lamb on the other side. He’s doing a good job with them boys. And Dak is doing his part. All I’m saying is the Chiefs, bro, they are in trouble because well, not even say in trouble. I just think more of like you got to go up that hill. That’s a hard to go up. Well, but everybody don’t have a CD Lamb and not and George Pickers all the time. Of course not. But the problem is and you always praise this man and he’s a really good person. I’ve only met him. Don’t know him personally like you. This dude got to take some blame too. Brett Beach, owner of the Chiefs because Carlos got paid a big bag. I think $93 million. Big bag. I can’t find him. Can’t find him. Amber Alert, put it out there. Uh uh uh Mike Dana got paid like $8 million. Can’t find him. Chris Jones held out. Got paid again. Now, shout out to Chris Jones. He’s the first ballot. He earned the Hall of Fame. But like all of these people that they have paid, can’t find none of them. These draft picks, first second round, not making a big enough difference. So to me, the Kansas City Chiefs pipeline of next generation talent I’m scared of as well. Like it’s not just the Kansas City Chiefs present. It’s the future of the Kansas City Chiefs I’m worried about because if you miss on one, two, three, too many drafts or too many free agent signings, all of a sudden you in the deep hole. And that’s where they at to me. I I think it’s interesting because Mahomes gets compared to Brady a lot. Winning three rings before 30, having having that type of pedigree early on. I wasn’t really around to see roster-wise what what that that that Patriots team was. I remember the Deion Branches, the Vrabels, the Brushkis, all of those, right? But do you guys think it’s in any way similar to what we saw from the Patriots and Brady that first stint and the reason why they had a 10-year gap before they won another Super Bowl? Or is this worse in your opinion? This to me is a little more troubling because the Patriots had another first ballot hall of famer and Rob Gronowski who showed up. It was young. You feel me? Like the the Chiefs don’t have that right now. Yeah. There there is Xavier Worthy isn’t showing us that he’s about to be a first ballot. Chiefs, with all due respect, unfortunately, can’t draft a running back. I don’t know why they can’t freaking do it. They just can’t do it. So, you ain’t got a first ballot there. Tight end, they don’t have one there. So like the Chiefs don’t have another first ballot hall of famer type of player. Trent McDy is the best second tier player on that team. He’s the best not Chris Jones, not Travis Kelce, not Patrick Mahomes player, and he got given that work. So to me, the Patriots had the whole next wave of players. Dante High Totower might have been the most underrated linebacker of the generation. He was on that team. McCordi McCordi on that team. Jamie Collins was the Jamie Collins on that team. Chandler Jones. Chandler Jones. Oh my gosh. Yeah, I forgot they had Chandler Jones. So, like I I just don’t see that right now with the Chiefs. It’s not Caroftus. It’s not Dana. I don’t see it with the Chiefs. Chiefs are in trouble, bro. But but but I I know this about the Chiefs and you caught out Brett Ve, but one thing about Brett V, boy, turn it around. It’s like that. Yeah. Yes. A lot of Andy Reese’s players, they draft them. Yeah. They don’t go out there and get him. They go draft them. So, they’ll be back. But on the offensive side, man, they got to help Mahomes out. They need better wide receivers though and it starts like there there’s no way that threatens you. And another thing is um and I I I lost my my my thought, but it was more of um if they if they finally get into the playoffs, right? This why they don’t concern me that much. If they finally get into the playoffs, now you got to play one of these top tier seeds, right? Yeah. Who they fear? Nobody. Cuz they can beat the they can beat the Colts. Yeah. They already You get what I’m saying? like like where’s the team where like dang dang you you you stuck to the playoffs now you you got to face a top tier a AFC team. The Chiefs ain’t scared of that because they can beat some of them guys. Yeah. I think this is the thing with the Chiefs right now. I don’t think their fear comes from uh being in the playoffs and losing to those teams. That’s not that’s where they thrive. They’ve had seasons where they weren’t the top seed and still went out there on the road and got done went to a Super Bowl. The problem right now is fellas, they got to play the Texans on Sunday night whose defense is playing at an extremely high level right now. They got to play Denver again at towards the end of this season. And they they got to play the Chargers after they play the Texans. They can’t afford a loss. Do I think that all of these games are winnable? Absolutely. But another loss, they’re really done. They’re not making the playoffs with another loss. They’re out, right? Yeah. And and also they need help. They need help right now. They’re in the same situation in my opinion that we are Shady. Who’s we? Cowboys. See what I’m saying? Another lost route. That’s what I’m saying. anymore. No, really. I’ll say this because right now obviously we know the Chief the Chiefs are in trouble, but even future that’s where I really care about. Oh. Oh, they’re going to be good in the future. You think Chief’s going to be down long? Not Not too long, but I’m thinking like like next year. The Chargers are clearly always going to be a 9 10 11 win team with Harbaugh. Harbaugh’s a great coach. Shawn Peyton’s a great coach. So, we know the Broncos Boicks is only going to get better. Drake May’s a great player. Mike Vrabel’s a great coach. Patriots are only going to get better. The Chiefs have had a nice little cakewalk of the Raiders sucking, the Broncos sucking, and who else is in that division. And the Chargers sucking for a long time. They’ve had a nice little cakewalk of that. Those days are over. Shawn Peyton Har uh Shawn Peyton Harbaugh and Bick Herbert. That’s real competence in that division. I just I don’t see the Chiefs winning another Super Bowl for a while. Too far. Hold on. Who has the best quarterback in that division? Always Mahomes. Who is the best coach in that division? Andy Reid. Always Andy Reed. That the same. Yeah, the same. So, and I think out of all them coaches, who drafts the best? Yeah, I’ll go Andy. Of course you will. So, yeah, they listen, man. And in the dice with the with the Patriots, they they didn’t win all their games. I get that. They ain’t going to Super Bowl every year. Cool. This year, they’re not going to do it. But best believe that the the the Chiefs, they going back eventually, two, three years, if that. Yeah. No, I Patrick Mahome’s too talented to not go back again, though.
