SHOCKING Dodgers Trade Update… Report Reveals WILD Move Coming? | Los Angeles Dodgers News

This report changes everything we thought about the Dodgers as an ESPN writer has come out and spoken on a Tyler Glasnau trade. We’re going to be breaking it down, going over quotes from Brandon Gomes and Andrew Freeman about what the plan is going forward with the starters and how Show Otan’s full return to pitching will have a very interesting impact on this report. We’re going to be breaking it all down here in this video. Before we do jump into it though, ladies and gentlemen, if you haven’t already, be sure to hit the sub button. Join us here on the channel. We’re covering everything Dodgers. We have a lot of interesting stuff starting to come out now that the market has fully opened up and this one is not going to want you’re not going to want to miss. But let’s jump straight into this because going over this season, I feel like this is where we need to start. Tyler Glasnau was a very important piece. Of course, we saw him get his first save here in the postseason. now being rumored in trade reports is something that has very much brought me by surprise and it all started with this from Matthew Croy and he is a Boston Red Sox writer. But this does also come from a very interesting source as well. Jesse Rogers of ESPN has put this out. One anonymous MLB executive suggested that to ESPN that right-handed pitcher could be on the market. And that right-handed pitcher of course being Tyler Glasnau. This is what he said. Feels like the Dodgers can go to Otani, Yamamoto, Blake Snell, Sasaki, and EMTT Sheham and others and use Glasnau on the market to cover up the holes. Now, looking at Tyler Glasow as an option to cover up holes, not a bad idea in theory. However, he has been a very important part of this team like I mentioned and has really rounded this rotation up to be one of, if not the best in the MLB right now. Going and trading Tyler Glass now for what would be probably not enough value immediately off the top of my head without looking at any mock trades or whatever really seems to me like it would just be one major risk lowreward for the Dodgers. But of course there is possibilities. We have to think about this and how it would turn out and how it would play out because we’ve seen this rotation be one that there’s capable of moving parts. But the big question still is would the Dodgers want to do so? And listing Tyler Glaz now as a sleeper candidate and an MLB executive saying this there is at least some traction behind it or the idea has sparked from somewhere. And that’s where this really all does seem to play out that Tyler Glasnell being someone who still can be a guy that is familiar with an injury, someone that really doesn’t get full seasons very often, although he still does play quite a lot of games. Their idea there from the Dodgers is that they could find an alternative somewhere else with someone in a position player, a closer somewhere else that you could trade to go ahead and fill out the lineup elsewhere. And like I say, I think it’s a big risk to do so, especially with the price that you’re looking at for Tyler Glaz now. Pretty solid 20 uh sorry, over over the next two years, 65 million, 32.5 a year with that club option in 2028. he’s making a bit of money and that’s where you see this MLB executive really speak about this and people kind of try to justify why it is a possibility and one article from the Red Sox that was coming out and that really did report that they could trade for Tyler Glasnau just suggested that the Dodgers would not want to pay this price for him and you know I don’t really think that’s an issue. We know the Dodgers are willing to pay the price. I mean, they offered him the contract. They were going to be willing to give it to him at the later bits of this year, uh, or this deal, of course. And at least going over the next couple of years, and he’s still at a pretty solid age. I mean, he’s not an old guy. He’s not someone that necessarily has any issues upcoming or forthcoming, apart from the injuries that are somewhat in the back of your mind. I think the Dodgers, you know, have that option, but aren’t going to act upon it unless something is just a serious win. That’s what I mean by this trade having at least some possibility is a serious win. We know the Dodgers are not a team that are going to actively give up players and get nothing in return because they have the payroll. They can make it happen. They can do what they want with their contracts with their guys. But when you’re looking at someone whose Savant page looks like this, a whole lot of 75 plus percentiles, it really goes to show and I feel like I don’t need to put this up because we’ve seen how good he’s been over the past couple of seasons and that really just goes to show with the Savant, but also the stats there on the left side a sub 350 nearly erra over the past three season, but last year being a 319 much better 18 games started of course you know saw that save in the postseason. He’s a very universal guy wherever you need him. Of course, that’s why these types of rotations, so deep, so good, are useful in the postseason. You can run these guys in the bullpen. We saw it with Sasaki. We saw it with Glass. Now, we saw with Yamamoto in game seven of the World Series. You know, you would not be able to do that if your rotation was as thin as it, you know, would be if you lose a guy like Tyler Glass. Now, let’s just say Roki goes back to the bullpen, even though that does not seem like it’s going to be the case. The Dodgers are going to need to fill out this roster and go for a three repeat before a potential salary cap does come in, which really makes this trade to me at least make, you know, not not too much sense. But going into this as well, there’s been some quotes coming out and Brandon Gome has really put this into perspective as to that they’re not going to be doing this. He said they’re also not certain if the Dodgers will stick with a six-man rotation. He said it’s certainly on the table, but it depends how things shake out. him with that six-man rotation being in mind, they can do it. They have EMT She now jumping into the rotation once again as well with Otani coming back here likely at a full pace. That’s going to leave at least some spots open for a bullpen. You know, some roster moves if they’re going to be running a six-man rotation. It will be interesting to see how things do play out on that side. And luckily, we do have a full off seasonason to go through it and let the Dodgers think about it. But as Tyler Glaznau, as good as he is, he’s not one guy that I think you would give up for cheap uh whatsoever. And although there is spots you can fill up in this lineup, I mean, a second baseman could be something they’re going to use. A closer, an outfielder is another option as well. You may be able to move Tyler Glasnau for that, but like I said, it would need to be one major steal for the Dodgers to at least even consider it in my opinion. And I’d be curious to see what you guys think about that here in the comments below as well because the options there and you see what the rotation looks like right now with Tyler Glaznau being that fourth starter, Roki being the fifth, Emtt Shehan likely being the sixth. They’re not moving anybody else out here. So if you were to move a starter, it seems like it would be Tyler Glaz now, but I still don’t see it. And as Brandon Gome said, they’re still thinking about running a six-man rotation, at least for the time being. And with DodgerBlue.com putting this out as well complicating the matter further is that the expectation that Otani will be a normal pitching schedule next year while Sasaki could revert back to a starting role will cause that six-man rotation. So the options are there that Roki could go back into the bullpen. I don’t think the Dodgers want to do that. They’ve said they didn’t want to do that. With Otani being back on a full schedule, a six-man rotation could work, but you may see some pitchers get a little bit cold with some extra days off. And from what Brandon Gomes and Andrew Freeman have done over the past couple of seasons and how they’ve really maneuver this lineup, they get those guys for a reason. They don’t want to make some crazy moves just to be able to make something work for the time being. So, I’m curious to see how this does play out, how you guys think about it once again. And with a few more things as well, the rotation like this, there are options. And you know, I’m not going to jump to conclusions here, but really Tyler Glasnau being one of the oldest pitchers here, second oldest next to Blake Snell, the options there. 32 years old, he’s still very young for pitch a pitcher and I mean going at least over in the next couple of seasons. That opinion may change on what Tyler Glass now, you know, his role would be, but as of right now, after winning a second World Series, a lot thanks to the entire rotation. I think it’s a tough bargain to try and move him. So, I asked you guys one question. What do you trade Tyler Glas? Now, give me a Y in the comments below or an N. Uh, yes for why, you know, N for no. I’m curious to see how this does play out. And I mean this could end up being nothing from this report, but as of right now, as of right now, I think that this Dodgers team are just trying to add without subtracting as much as possible. And that will have a pretty significant impact on what kind of comes out of this report. So, let me know what you think here in the comments below. Of course, having this come from ESPN makes it a little bit more interesting than if it were someone else, but at least right now, teams are already starting to look, at least at that possibility at Tyler Glasnau from outside the door. So, let me know what you think. But that is all I have here in this video. If you did enjoy, give it a like. Hit the sub button as well. I’m signing out though. Thank you for watching. Hope you have a great day. Seal it.

A recent report from ESPN has dropped that Tyler Glasnow is a sleeper trade candidate for the Dodgers as they look to add to the lineup. Kirk Day breaks down how the Dodgers will attack these reports and what this means for the Dodgers going forward with Shohei Ohtani jumping back to full starting schedule and Emmett Sheehan being added to the rotation.
