It needs to be said: the coach is defensive minded. The defense ought to be set it and forget it. That’s the whole point of having a defensive minded head coach. What’s the point of having McDermott as a HC if we have to worry about some aspect of the defense sucking???? We are giving up 150+ rushing yards a game.
Flip it. Teams with offensive minded HCs. They are usually setting the league on fire. Right? McVay. Andy Reid. The guy in Indy. Those guys are always innovating.
I don’t like that our Head Coach isn’t positively influencing the half of the team they he should be making a difference on.
Why isn’t our team a defensive juggernaut? What’s the point of McDermott?
Our team should be the equivalent of an offensive minded head coach’s influence.

It’s pathetic that the front office and coaching has gotten a team with Josh Allen, James Cook, and that offensive line to this point with one of the easiest schedules and divisions in the league.

Also, Buffalo has a > 85% to make the playoffs. People are overreacting to a couple of mediocre losses.
