The NFL Has NO Answer For What The Chicago Bears Are Doing…

I’m not too sure that there is an answer for what the Chicago Bears are doing right now. Not only offensively are they executing at a high level, establishing the run, and then taking advantage of play action situations, but more importantly, this defense is really electric. They’re getting Jaylen Johnson, getting Kyler Gordon back fully healthy overtime, right? But also, they just have so many playmakers. They had three linebackers out of this football game and they still stunned the Philadelphia Eagles. But what I enjoy about this team the most is the way they get pressure on the quarterback. Now on this specific play, the offensive line is going to be in a fiveman scat. They’re sliding to the right here, double teaming Dexter. They’re going to get one-on-one’s here, one-on-one with uh Grady Jarrett, one-on-one with Austin Booker. this lineman ends up falling and ultimately what ends up happening is we just get a free rusher off the edge off the stunt with Grady Jarrett. Boom. From there we have other guys winning their matchups. Look at Montes Sweat on the top side and then look at Austin Booker on the bottom side here all and Javon Dexter all getting pressure on Jaylen Herz. What this forces him to do is one get outside the pocket but two have to throw the ball away because there’s just nothing there, right? So, the defense is playing really good football right now. And I kind of wanted to break down some of the film um from this football game. This has the making of being one of the most surprising teams in the NFL this season. And they can they can do it. They can do the unthinkable, right? They can make a big run in the playoffs. I would not be shocked at all. And that’s what happens when you pick up a good coach like Ben Johnson. So, we’re going to break down the film. Before we dive into it, do me a favor, guys. Hit the like button if possible. helps out so much. Most importantly, hype the video. It’s a new YouTube feature, but man, it gets this video to more Bears fans. Um, so make sure you guys do that. And with that being said, let’s just dive into the video. Now, we broke down this play yesterday, just a different angle of it with the all 22. And I actually really like this. So, they’re going to try to pull their center from obviously the middle of the field to the left. Everyone else is going to kind of be in that full slide here to the right. But what they don’t understand is Andrew Billings is a big boy, right? Yes. However, he’s a lot quicker than it appears. Okay. And what I mean by that is if you pull this center and he gets out here while the offensive line is sliding this direction, he got he has the speed to hit that gap extremely quickly. Okay? So, watch this play again. They’re going to pull the center and before that guard can even get to position, he’s already ripping through getting second level pressure on the quarterback. Now, the one thing we all have to understand here is whenever you’re able to generate pressure on the quarterback, you could force one of six different situations. Also, a very good job by the outside containing the edge and making sure that even if Jaylen Herz wanted to scramble, there was going to be nowhere to go. So, he kind of had to throw the football. Okay. Whenever you can generate pressure on the quarterback, you can force a number of situations. a bad throw, a bad decision, an interception, maybe you get the sack, maybe you get the force fumble on the sack, or maybe you draw a holding call on the offensive line. Now, when you see this play, we get instantaneous pressure up the A gap. We force him outside the pocket. Now, he can only throw on this side of the field. Whenever you have a quarterback rolling outside the pocket, you will usually usually never see them throw on this side of the field, which now takes away multiple options. He’s gone. He is starting to be gone unless he turns around which he probably should. But ultimately, as Herz is rolling outside the pocket, he’s got two options here. One and two. Neither are really open. This is probably more open. No, neither of them are open. Now, look at Kevin Bard, right? He is reading this like a book. He knows that. He knows the ball is not going over here. So, he just starts beling it, right? Go, go, go. We know if he throws the football, we know where it’s going. It’s a bad throw. It’s a terrible decision, and it’s an interception. Even if AJ Brown didn’t go over, I think he was thrown here. Either way, what a play. Kevin Byer leads the NFL in reception. Six this year and Shawn Ray is five, right? And now you talk about adding Kyler Gordon, adding Jaylen Johnson back in. CJ Garner Johnson’s been huge as well. You got to be excited about this team right now. Here we go again. Another big-time play by this defense. CJ Garner Johnson extremely dynamic, extremely versatile. He’s got the ability to play whether it’s in the nickel, whether it’s as a deep safety, whether it’s in the box as a linebacker. The dude can play in so many different spots. It feels like a cheat code having a guy like Jaquan Brisker, Kevin Bayard, Kyler Gordon, Jaylen Johnson, and Nan Wright. I mean, it doesn’t feel real. It doesn’t feel real, right? They’re going to send this nickel blitz here. They’re going to make sure their edge attacks the outside shoulder of the tackle. They’re going to make sure their backer engages with the guard. That way, we can get a free lane. Either a free lane or a one-on-one with the running back. depends on where he picks up. So either way, their route concept is going to be a shallow cross over the middle, another crosser over the middle with Dallas Goddard. And you’re going to see Jaylen Herz actually makes a solid decision where he throws to the blitzing side, but because he’s under pressure, it’s such a bad throw. Lofts it up there and uh almost really dangerous. Jaquan Brisker is able to break that thing up. Now, without the pressure, you probably find AJ Brown for a big pickup. I mean, if you dump this down to AJ Brown right here, you got guys kind of in front. He could turn this up the field greatly, right? Um, but again, that pressure is just been getting to Jaylen Herz all game long. Lofts up a bad ball. Incompletion. Great job once again by this defense. Man, they are tough. And really quickly, make sure you do me a big favor, guys. Hit the like button, but subscribe to the channel if you haven’t already done so. It is free. It doesn’t cost anything. And we will be covering the Chicago Bears throughout the entirety of the year. offense, defense, individual player breakdowns, pretty much whatever you guys want to see, we got you guys covered. So, make sure you join the family, turn on your post notifications, that way you’re notified when we do post these videos. And let’s just keep going into some more film. Also, love the run game. We’re talking a lot about pressure in this game, but I felt like they did a pretty good job for the most part kind of denying the run or at least limiting them um to not a massive game. like they weren’t having 150 plus yards on the ground with uh you know, Saquon Barkley. It just wasn’t going to happen in this game. Right here, they’re going to power off to the left. And look at Austin Booker disengage off the tight end so quickly. If you’re going to match up Austin Booker with the tight end, good luck. I mean, whether it’s in the pass rush or the run game, he disengages so easily. Boom. Cleans this up in the back field. They end up losing three yards on the top side. Great job by Booker. And um yeah, don’t want to see that if you’re an Eagles fan. Uh but ultimately, I thought the Bears did a great job in this football game, doing a lot of different things, getting to the quarterback, forcing pressure throws, and also stopping the run. Had a couple of stops in the back field in this game. Monday Night Football is officially here. We got Packers, we got Eagles. Should be a really good game. At least in my opinion, it’s got that potential. Now, I am having so much fun in the Sleeper app. I can possibly over 1,000x my money every single day on this app. And it is been so much fun so far. And I kind of wanted to share you some of my picks before we do so. And you guys can see them. But if you use my promo code dubs, you see it right here. You are going to get a 100% match deposit up to $100, which means if you put in $100, they’re going to give you $100. If you put in 50, they’ll give you 50, right? It is a steal. A steal. I would do it just for that. Now, take a look at my picks. I’m going Saquon Barkley more than 50 rushing yards. AJ Brown more than 40 receiving yards. Jaylen Herz at least one touchdown. Jordan Love more than 200 passing yards. And Romeo Dobs more than 40 receiving yards. It’s all lower than you may think. And and I think it’s safe. I 30 to win 63. Not too crazy, not too wild. Let me know what you guys are doing for tonight. Are you going big? Are you staying safe? Let me know. And let’s get back to the video. Now, I love the way they disguise their blitzes because right here, and if I back it up, you’re going to see this left guard. He’s going to notice the pressure potentially coming from this left side here. You got the linebacker covering over that guard. So, he’s going to actually stand up and just call it out really quickly. But the the way they do this here, Chicago, is they’re going to ensure that they can’t slide their protection to this overloaded side, right? They have no idea where this pressure is coming from. It could come here. It could come over here. Like, you have you have no idea, right? It’s very difficult and they disguise it so well. So, what we’re going to do is we are going to act like we’re going and we’re going to drop back. Our first step is going to be forward and then we’re going to drop back. From here, our um guy who’s on the outside tro of the center is going to go attach to the center, right? We’re going to attach to the guard. We’re going to attach to the tackle. Now, when we attach all of these guys, left guard is not going to be doing much. You got manto man here. Now we can send Kyler Gordon off the edge and get a one-on-one versus the running back off the uh off that slide side. So watch this play again. You’re going to see Dexter get to the inside shoulder of the T the guard or the center, excuse me. Everyone else is manned up. Left guard is not doing anything at the moment. And then boom. Kyler Gordon spins in there, gets a little bit of pressure, forces that football to come out a little bit earlier than maybe he wanted to, right? And it’s just not open. Jaylen Johnson covers it up. does a good job getting his hand into the catch radius and making that a more difficult catch to make. Again, they did a great job forcing pressure, getting the football out early, and ultimately if they had any more time, they probably would have hit Jan Datson on the stop route with about four yards of separation versus Nan Wright. But ultimately didn’t have time to wait for that to develop. Okay, you guys have to understand, man, this defense is scary when they get pressure on the quarterback because they force so many turnovers off pressure. This was probably one of the craziest plays I’ve seen in this game just because they were bold when it comes to putting a linebacker number 45. I’m not even going to try to say his name. It’s like Agbong Mega. I I don’t even know. But they did man him up with um Devonte Smith on this wheel route. And when I saw it initially, I was like, there’s no way this is man coverage. And yeah, it was man coverage. He follows him down that sideline. Now, we’re going to utilize a stun action where our interior guys are going to or our exterior guys are going to work to the interior. We’re going to loop or stun Javon Dexter around through the A gap and we’re going to ensure that this tackle is occupied with this little edge blitz here um from CJ Garner Johnson. So, you’re going to see Don Dexter loops or stunts around through the gap. Now, right away he understands I have to get the ball out. He has a yes no read where you absolutely love this thing. But uh because we have more speed than we do size, this ball needs to be down the field. You have to lead him down the field. It’s got to be dropped into a bucket. Is Jaylen Herz the best accurate deep ball thrower in the NFL? No, he’s not. So what ends up happening is under pressure, he forces what? A bad throw and almost even a bad decision. Kevin Bard covers a lot of ground pretty quickly here. It’s severely underthrown and the linebacker does an incredible job getting into the catch radius without interfering with their wide receiver. That is how it is done. You see him even look back for the football a little bit there. That is perfect. I mean, if you’re a linebacker making that type of play in space versus Devonte Smith. Yeah. Yeah. That is insane. That is unbelievable. And again, we are only able to do this because Dexter is able to drop pressure which forces a bad underthrown ball which should have been probably a touchdown the right sideline. What a play by the Bears defense once again. Now ultimately guys, I am going to end the video here. Make sure you guys do me a big favor. Hit the like button, subscribe to the channel if you are new, turn on your post notifications, and let me know what you guys want to see next. I’ll probably make an offensive video for you guys with Caleb Williams. And the offense uh wasn’t explosive in the pass game, but run game they dominated. The offensive line dominating dominated Jaylen Carter, Jordan Davis in that front seven for the Philadelphia Eagles, which was kind of surprising to me. I mean, great execution, great game plan. Um, so yeah, I’ll see you guys in the next one. Join the family and I’ll see you guys then. face.

  1. Keep on covering these bears, you asked for the hype things, so I give them to you. Now we have to beat Green Bay. There’s a dangerous thing that is happening, I’m starting to form hope. Last time I had hope, I was double doinked. I was two in 85, so I haven’t seen a Super Bowl, but maybe this year, you never know. bear down

  2. I mean tbh the bears reallt havent played anyone good and won. There loses are to the good teams they have played. Like they still have 9ers, gb 2x, and lions. 3 of those are divison and good teams. And the last time they played the liosn it was BAD. Sure they will prolly make playoffs but i domt think they make a run in playoffs or even win there divsion. Even tho i hopw they do. Hell i hope they win out and the lions and gb loses out😂

  3. Funny enough, I think the chiefs, who we obviously dont have to worry about, are the kryptonite to the bears. The bears look to dominate time of possession with a consistent run game, while maintaining the threat of big passes. The defense is aiming to bend not break, while finding key takeaways on defensive reads and outplays in the backfield. The chiefs dont care about time of possession, opting to convert quickly and efficiently, while their defense forces punts and fgs by denying explosive plays and locking down the run.

  4. I like how they aren't worried about stats on yardage. Instead of being 'defensive' and trying to reduce the yardage on every play, they are saying we'll give you 30, 40 70 yards but we're taking the ball off you before you get to the endzone.

We're only 16th favorite for the Superbowl. Keep underestimating us

  5. Why is it every one forgets about the 05’06 bears Super Bowl run they came up short but that was was one of the best seasons in franchise history. And a super fun one with Devin Hester running wild
