Why America’s Open-Air Stadiums Are Dying Out (B1M video about new Nissan Stadium)

Cool video outside of B1M hyping up turf. No one likes turf except for the billionaires trying to pinch pennies.
I don’t think it’s a mystery. If I’m paying hundreds or dollars to go watch a game, I don’t want to freeze my ass off or get rained on.
The reason is because they want to be able to host a Super Bowl (1), and host non-football shit for money (2). Fucking lame. Cannot imagine watching football or baseball indoors.
Seems simple enough.. build a stadium you can use 12 months a year on events, instead of one that is useless for anything but football for at least 1/4 of the year. And even in the other 3/4, you’re at the mercy of the weather.
I couldn’t see them planning many open air concerts in TN anytime from Nov-March, and that’s approaching half of the year. And sometimes October and April are freezing too, depending on the year.
It’s all about $$$….no weather issues to cost someone money…
