NHL Highlights | Oilers vs. Kraken – November 29, 2025
Mason Marshman Heyman, one of the four all-time scorers against the Seattle Kraken that are on the Edmonton roster. Little tap by Mason Marshm there. He’s the one that hurt Zack Heyman last year in the playoffs. Said, “Hey, and Matt Seavoy at Coleman Booard defensively, your starting lineup brought to you by bet99.net.” Decord sends one into the corner off the rush and Darnell Nurse who scored Edmonton’s second goal in that last game against Seattle picks it up from Regulan sends it ahead for Vasili Pulson. The Oilers 1010 and five Seattle 116 and six third of the Pacific. A shot by Poulson snared by Dord and this is what you were talking about Louie. Uh they’re trying to kind of hurt each other to be honest with you from time to time, but when it all shakes down, they’re humans and I like I don’t mind seeing that tap by Mason. Shot by Koulak. And that’s right up there, bud. Right up there. No question. Seattle with control of the puck. A clear by Alexiaak. Slug back by Nan Hopkins without scoring a lot of goals. They feel that’s going to come organically with the way they play and and continuing to play the right way. Tryside. Lamman Japani. His shot again gloved by the court. They flicks it back to the point. Shot forgula. That’s sailed wide. Rebound hacked at by Keo Kako. Here’s a one-time and a save made. Good read. Well, what a pass by Pod Coulson, but because of the distance, it does give a little bit of time for the cord to get over there. Look at that long look by Dry Settle. As you mentioned afterwards, that glove was just a little bit inside the line. Watch this. Oh, I don’t know. Yeah, that’s going to be a really tough one though. And they are going to take a little break it seems like to make sure as they’re going to look at this one why it’s no goal and face off to his left. Tricle pulls it back. Regula snap shot the save made. Dor rebound to Chandler Stevenson turned it over but Coulson tricidle save made poised as can be. Shots on that. Yeah, this is another good one. Good pick off by Pod Coulson and jumps forward around the winger on the wall to be able to pick this pass off. Curtis Lazar back in the lineup after missing four. Here’s a drive. A save made by Steuart Skinner off the rush. RJ with his second excellent opportunity hung up with Hyman. Winterton tried to drag it free, but it comes to Bark. Njan loads McDavid to the net. Bushart Nan Hopkins shoots and scores and Edmonton takes a one- nothing lead on the power play. Ryan Nent Hopkins his sixth in 17 games play off the face off. He’s making plays. He made a beautiful pass cross seam over to McDavid that missed the net high. But this is just moving the puck around. The power play has gone a little stagnant. Only two for 16 in their last nine games coming into this game today. And Ryan Nan Hopkins in his first game back. Welcome back as he puts that one home. Beautiful pass by Bousar. Those ones again where the arm came around to the front. Ever laid him on tour. Bouncing puck and a right save. Player grab him in the chest and then throw him down. I mean, you give a penalty for just grabbing the shoulder at times. I don’t know how that’s not a call. We’ve seen that a few times. But good chance in tight at Stewart. Stevenson in front. deflected by 15 seconds on the five on three. Jared McCann shoots and a save. Skinner up near the clavicle. He’s got it. Yeah, it’s one thing to be emotionally engaged, but Louie, you got to find a harness for it is what I kind of gathered from some of your comments towards the end of the first period. Has Adam Henrik start McDavid attacking, kicking it over Eol shot back door rebound. Yanmark, did he nudge it over the line? I don’t think he did. And Yanmark can’t believe it. One-time by Dry Cidle in the first period. Makes a great save. This is a hard pass through. And then Yanmark has one, two, three whacks at this. And somehow for Joey Decord, he’s able to get this glove down. Watch this. How does this stay out? That skate helped lodge it against the post. Good job to get that left skate over to the post and get the glove down there and hang on to it as a lot of hard rim around the boards. Stevenson was able to knock it down. Everly one-time ripped right to the chest of Skinner against Manny Ben around the wall, but it’s kept in by Stevenson on a nice play at the line. Then down low, back high to the slot on a quick passing play. It’s Beneers that has that one-time into the montour to Margeman. Cat finds a se. Great shot off the rush and another save with no rebound. And this one here again, a transitional chances. They haven’t really been able to set up a whole lot in zone. Captain was the one that set the last one in motion. This time he takes it in himself. Some quick skating and a nice back to drive. Settle takes it hard through veneers to the net and he can’t sneak it through the wickets of Joey Decor. Everly pushed ahead for veneers. picked off by Emerson. Sets the attack the other way. Tricidle shoots and scores. Two nothing Edmonton. Tricidle’s 15th and Emerson started the counterattack. Chance in tight from Pod Coulson. But you’re right. This is Emerson standing his ground on the line. Little chip off the wall. Mapani picks it up and the drop pass to Dry. He’s got two players. A left-handed Mapi on the right side. P Cen streaking on the left but he decides to shoot it himself and just beats the court. That wicked wister look last second he just decides to fire this one. Ever on tour wedge to the head skating into it. Ken on net denied Stewart Skinner right Pat save to keep it two nothing out of reach with a late second period power play. Yeah here’s the lob pass. Berkeley Ken with some speed here and does a nice job to bring this to the forehand and the extension by Steuart Skinner. Has to use all the pad to deny him right there with the toe. Great job to extend it at the right moment and Kton’s had a few chances in this game using that speed. Louis, you talked about it. Those struggles coincided with the injury to New Jin Hopkins on the power play. He’s back all of a sudden one for one. New Janopkins fathed it across redirected home and that’s Zack’s first goal of the season. He’ll take it. Bank shot Leon Dryidle off his skate in three nothing Edmonton going down the bench with the taps. Good movement here and recoveries the Kraken. It was a great read by Lingard on the one-time for Dry Saddle. The first time he came out and he blocked that one time shot. This time around though for Dry Saddle he’s so smart. He just kind of gets this puck and instead of putting it to the net, he zips it in front. Just a quick little wrist. Zack Heyman’s right there in the spot. Bounces off. I know Louie and I both went out of our way to just quickly extend our condolences and it’s a reminder as the whole week really. We’ve talked about it with hockey fights in cancer. There’s just here’s really dry wood. That’s for sure. [Applause] and McDavid charge across the line. McDavid corral, shoots and scores. Four nothing Edmonton. McDavid from Heyman, his 11th. Just a good job to win the battle on the wall. And that’s where it is right there. Seo, you talked about him earlier. Little support by Heyman. He gets this puck back to McDavid. And it’s the center drive. Seavo is the one that starts this from behind, but watch him punch through and you’re going to see him go right to the net. And that’s a little bit of a decoy. Heyman flies by as well. A lot of traffic around the core, but for McDers Everly centering pass shot and Skinner got a piece maybe for as well. Yeah, it wasn’t perfect. This is still a work in progress and there was a big stretch where the crowd we’ve got Clattenberg turning up a big hit might not know what he’s in for here. Clattenburg his first NHL fight lands a couple of right hands. He was looking. Winterton came by two. Seattle number 89 by Well, Connor Glattenberg has been a presence since he stepped into the lineup for Edmonton. He was looking for this. He gets a roughing here as well as the fiveminute major. Gadro here in the corner comes to the aid of Reker Evans on that hit and then just a little headlock here by Cloudenberg and then finally they both shed the gear at the same time. But Reker Evans is there a floated head for KO styi by Nurse that draws him to another fight. Regula and KJ a clubing right by KJ. Regula shakes it off, covers up. A few miss less from CarJ. And now Regula tries to get that left hand going, but quite. And they wrestle one another to the ice. He’s got to leave immediately. Beneers will leave it in the corner. McCann elects to stay on. Put the helmet back on. Ninth career shut out, the second this season. He bagled the Rangers in Madison Square Garden. And with 24 saves today. [Music]
Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Leon Draisaitl each recorded a goal and an assist, Stuart Skinner stopped all 26 shots he faced, and the Edmonton Oilers shut out the Seattle Kraken 4-0.

Excellent tonight , D flowed in lanes so Stu always can see the shot , best i seen in years great job.
Bouchard , Nurse great improvement to lane awareness and overall great job by all D pairs today
Forward cohesion and player > player heads up awareness and moving to open slot, very nice, great job.
Wingers coming bottom and top of circle support for D, but staying out of line of . very nice job good on the fly positioning awareness excellent .

To media questions : WE CAME TO WIN, didn't we make that clear ? 😉
lol
Good to see the Oilers show up to play hockey today. A rare occurrence this season.
Effortless win against the seattle trashcans
See what happens when they actually get much needed practice that they didn't get an opportunity to get much on the road trip etc, defense tightens up and plays better, Skinner is able to do better and finally makes a across slide move save on that break away, I've been wanting him to do more of those moves.
I have been especially hard on Bouchard, regarding lack of intensity etc. Give credit where credit due, I felt he played a much better game. The 5 on 3, I thought he played with commitment. He took good lines that reduced the firing lines so Skinner could position himself correctly. This needs to continue!
The oilers definitely played better than they have of recent, but man the kraken looked awful today. Switched to the avs game in the second at least Montreal was skating, but also a blowout game.
Zero saves to zero goals allowed. lol
Congrats to the entire Edmonton Oilers players🥳🔥🧊, especially 🥅Stuart Skinner7️⃣4️⃣~!
Boy is Edm happy to see Zac back!…good showing from the skin man too.
I hope the hang on to Skinner! I really think he can become an elite goalie! I’d hate to see him traded only to later become elite for another team.. gg Oil!
Clattenburg forces other teams to slow it down.
Sure use AI and have another team win.. We all know they lost .. O wait they did win, son of a b!tch.. lol gg, well done skinner.
glad to watch a hockey game instead of a dismemberment, the team that showed up for this matinee is more than welcome to play the next tilt
We're still trading ya Stu, but what a way to go out! Great game and thanks for the memories.
Oilers suck
I love how the presence of Nuge just calms the team down. He's one helluva player
This is where the oilers start to heat up
This is the end result of a team being able to practice properly. The NHL really wanted to screw the Oilers over with their schedule. Barely any home games and when they did play at home it only allowed them 1 day to recover then another team come in and play a tired team. Not an excuse but imagine being on the road consecutively and having barely any practice time together.
I can smell a long overdue win-streak incoming
Good game for Stu!!
Jacks famous last words…"Louie I think the oilers have turned a corner"
thanks for including the fights!
…and The Zac is Back
I love STU!!!!!
