Canucks vs. Kings | NHL Highlights | November 29, 2025

Great line. And our puck drop is brought to
you by Theodore Robbins four and away we go from downtown Los Angeles. He walks the line
for Philip Peronic. Now Patterson comes in. Tough angle right in front and a sprawling play
by Forsber to keep it out. It took over here. You have them contained. There’s the miss. More
misses. Get Kings man on man when that happens. And he actually he Oh. Yeah. They’re going to take
a look. 15th overall. Centering pass knocked away by Matt. Not out. And now Heronic shooting one.
That’s off the glove of Forsber. And Hughes in there. Two and a half minutes gone by. No score.
Knocks the first two shots. And now Trevor Moore comes in with Kazako and Kopitar. Here’s Kazako
in front. Moore shoots and he scores. Trevor Moore and the Kings draw first blood and lead one-
nothing. That doesn’t happen too often, but you’ll see the pressure right here. Copar comes in. Kuzco
strips and that quickly because KMO makes a couple of stick handles. Watch when Kusenco gets it here.
He’ll make one right there and that forced the defender to come to him. Joseph goes to Kuzco in
that split second. Vancouver is challenging the call on the ice for offside prior to the goal.
Yeah, I saw Kopitar stretch. John, you have to time it. He was on the near side and he dragged
I believe his left leg, right? It’s his right leg and it you can see the fumble to the puck
by Moore. Moore did not have it completely. After reviewing the play at 1724, the play was
determined to be offside. There’s no goal now. The Kings in front. Kopitar one-handed shot on
goal. Stopped by Lincoln. Now Mikey Anderson shooting one. Looking for a tip from Moore and
a save by Forsber and a race for it. Dial can’t get there. And Vancouver the other way. And
O’ Conor. Good stick there by Anderson. Then Quinn Hugh shoots and he scores. Might have
been tipped in in front by Aratu. It’s one- nothing Canucks. So the back and forth we’ve had
in this game already with the goal that almost was for the Vancouver Conucks. The goal that
went into the net, but the offside offside of the goal. Are you kidding me? It’s a challenge
fest tonight here at Crypto.com Arena. After the review for the coach’s challenge offside, it
was determined the play was offside. Therefore, we have no goal. Please reset the clock to 1521.
1521 on the clock, please. And now Matt and Perry doing the dirty work. And a bouncing puck settled.
Malot Anderson blocker save by Len as we approach the midway point of the first period. Turkot
races in. Stole it. Centers it. Parry a shot. Rebound still loose and another chance for Matt
and Lincoln and kept it out. The last five games Kings power play two for 16 at the line. Kopitar
to the middle by Field. Fans on it. Kopitar gets it a shot and a save by Len who got a gold call
back and more feeling the pressure for Leferier. He’ll drop it off. Perry now to Clark. Looks
shoots a tip and a right pass save by Lenin. That was a heck of a save. Kept it again. And now Clark
back on this side for Leferier. Kings gets set up to the middle. Arma shoots it out. Blocked by
Pio Joseph and that stump. Clark again gets it on goal. Stopped by Lincoln with Perry right in his
kitchen. Kings get it. Hammered down by Cody Cece. The Kings spent extra time with pressure on Hughes
there. Byfield’s one of the few players that can skate with Hughes. Look out here. Herona comes in.
Save by Forsber on a If the Kings don’t have the sticks and lanes then never beaten the Canucks in
his career, tonight is the night. Canucks win it. And Evander Kane shooting one. And Forsberg had
a clean look at that shot. Kings are back at full strength. Drop passer Kane. That shot tipped
wide. Vancouver. Two shots in the power play. Blockered away by Forsber. Cleaned up by Moore.
And ahead now for Kempe. He comes in and then Pia out of the box trying to make a move. Kee
left it in the corner. And now Vancouver with it. And a pass by Cissone all the way down.
Tipped by Carlson and retrieved by Clark. Now Keep gets the long feed, comes
in. Kopitar shoots and he scores. Kopitar. What a shot. One- nothing
Kings if the goal holds up. Jim. I was watching the entry just to make sure. Well,
this one here wide open right up the middle. And the Kings get entry. Would have been close by
Kopitar on the one side. And Kopitar more than risk this. Watch him shovel it. He’ll take
it inside and just drag it through. And the Conucks are still looking down at their feet.
The coaches are trying to see if Kopitar was offside that time. Field on the attack down low.
Fiala centers a quick shot by Keep and a save by Lincoln. 33% of the draws when a big one here
and a shot by FE more right on and a save by Len and again all three king forwards after the
puck here. They get it back now. Clark shoots it right on. Rebound wired wide by Perry
and Clark shot block. Kane out of the box. break away. Evander Kane scores and it’s tied and
one. Evander Kane, he will not be complaining now about that ple he took because the timing
worked perfect for him. And once again, the short-handed goal again. Let’s keep
in mind this is not the unit with five forwards on the ice and the Kings get
caught here because of that broken play. There’s a sense there. There’s an understanding
there. There’s just hockey IQ. All that comes into play. You see the shot is absolutely perfect.
We’ve seen this from Kane before. He can’t shoot it over the pad under the blocker. With by
field broken up by the Canucks and now Besser, he’s dangerous. He comes in shooting one and a
stick save at the Conucks. Leaves it for Joseph. winds it all the way around cuz Maker was there
and his pass up the middle picked off by Herona coming in off the crossbar but didn’t really
look this what the Cox did earlier right they went certainly no timeline at this point
in the Kings were missing him in a lot of different areas they got by last year they
did a phenomenal job trying to do the same and another shot up high maybe off the shoulder
of Forsber and the doping and then Person And back for Hughes again. Now the Knox onto
the side of Besser. Shoots it. Bought off by Forsber and Dublin right up the middle and all
the way down on Lanken. I think the Kings got a stick on the Besser attempt, but it made
it made it a little bit more difficult there because just a subtle change of direction. And
Besser a former 40goal scorer. He can bring it in the middle. Broken up by Trevor Moore and a
short-handed breakaway. Here he comes. Moore and a save by Lincoln. It’s a nice little battle for
the puck and because we know Trevor Moore can fly probably had a little bit of a head start. Now
Trevor tries to inside and just chip it. Watch here. You see the stop. Oh, there it is. Just a
touch. Just a touch. Not much at all. But again, when you’re protecting your goalender, you
don’t ask questions. You you make the decision. Lanken had played it well there. He knew
that the pressure was coming for Heronic. So he hit in San Jose. 11 shots. Winning those
faceoffs too on those special team situations. Over two tonight. Besser with it. Shoots it
and a glove save by Forsber. Had a clean look at that Besser shot. You watch Mike Anderson.
Watch the King defensively. He’ll go to the inside. He’s taking away that. Anything down
there to the middle off the stick of Carlson. Now Carlson again trickles on goal covered by
Forsberu sets up shot centers it and Sherwood shot wide. Another shot. Kings are back at
full strength and the puck comes out of the zone back in as the puck was bouncing there.
Now grab by Cece. Arma ahead of the pack gets the pass in the clear shoots it and right on
and fellow Finn Lanken and makes the save on Arma back and not breaking stride. Look at that.
He had to hoist it over top. Little sauce on it. Oh, great look guys down at nice level. Great
look. You can see there because it did bounce a little bit away. Settled by Arma in front. That’s
off by field and the CS come back and at the line. Look out in front. Backhander. Right on. Save by
Forbber. Maybe it’s best tonight for Vancouver. They get outnumbered. Attacks. Huge puts it on
the outside. Watch the puck protection right there. And then the shot comes from the middle
of the ice. Second shift. Little Topic there. And now the Kings to center. Fia and Kee. Here
they come. Fia right hand. Waits, waits a pass. Keep with an empty net. He scores. And that’s a
winner. Keep his third overtime winner this year, most of the quality. But as they come at
you, this is where I thought maybe the most dangerous. But watch what happens here.
It’s a Bfield that goes to the front. Yeah. And that prevented the Canucks from getting to
the rebound. Missed shot. That’s the broken play I’m talking about. And you can see Biffield.
If he’s in the blue paint there, that’s an issue. He was not. He went in first, backed
off second, and by the time Kempe gets it, he probably cannot believe his eyes. Peterson tries
to go down for the block, but is not the case. You know, the Kucks are arguing.
