Tampa Bay Buccaneers 2025 Week 13 PREVIEW Vs Arizona Cardinals!

Will the Tampa Bay Buccaneers be able to get a win against a pretty banged up Arizona Cardinals football team? Well, let’s talk about it. Shout out Sleeper, by the way. More on them a little bit later on in this video. So, the Cardinals find themselves at 3 and8 right now. They are the last place in their own division of the NFC West. They are scoring 22.5 points per game. That is 18th in the NFL out of 32 teams. and they are allowing 25.7 points per game. That’s 25th in the NFL right now out of 32 teams. On the flip side, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are scoring 23.5 points per game. That’s 14th in the NFL right now. And are allowing 25.8 points per game. That is 26th in the NFL. So, actually, technically, the Bucks offense is just a little bit better than the Cardinals right now. and their defense is technically worse than what the Cardinals are doing right now. So, you know, we’re obviously just going to have to wait and see. That’s not exactly a good thing, but who knows? We’re just going to have to wait and see how the uh you know, game shakes out overall. I do feel good about this matchup for the Bucks. Whenever we look at how injured the Cardinals are overall, um it’s been pretty rough. They currently have three losses in a row to the Seahawks, Niners, and Jacksonville. They are playing their backup quarterback in 33-year-old Jacobe Brassette as Kyler Murray’s only played and started in five games this year. Now, to be honest, Brousette has actually been putting up some pretty good numbers. 1,887 passing yards, 11 touchdowns, three interceptions. However, the Cardinals have given up 40 sacks this year as a team. So if the Bucks don’t bring down Jacobe Brassette twice minimum in this game, just give up on the pass rush in my opinion. I mean genuinely just give it up at that point because they are not going to be able to do anything uh if they cannot do something against this Cardinals offensive line which has been absolutely awful so far this year. I mean for goodness sakes. Um, Jacobe Brassette and Kyler Murray. I mean, overall as a team, the the Cardinals are allowing a sack 8.6% of the time. You got to get something going here, right? You have to get something going here if you are the Buccaneers pass rusher. That would certainly help out a lot in terms of the Buccaneers being able to win this football game. Now, in terms of their overall running game, again, they’re down to a lot of backups. um Amari Demarcado and Zonovan Knight basically their third, fourth, uh even fifth running back because remember Trey Benson’s been out there, Michael Carter has been out there, but those guys are banged up. James Connor is on the IR. He’s been done for the year. He only played and started in three games this year. So like you’re down to the the backups of the backups in that running game room. So I don’t necessarily know if the running game for Arizona will be super lethal in this matchup. Now, one guy who is making his return is Marvin Harrison Jr., who’s had a pretty good year this year, um, despite only playing in nine games, 525 yards and four touchdowns. So, it will probably be up to Zion McCollum to, you know, take care of that and probably, you know, some other people in there. Jamal Dean, I believe, is going to be playing in this game. So, he’ll have to also help deal with Michael Wilson, who has 534 receiving yards this year and one receiving touchdown. But the big threat is Trey McBride. I mean, the dude’s an absolute beast. One of the best tight ends in the NFL. 797 receiving yards and seven receiving touchdowns. Um, it’s not only going to be up to Levante David or Cervasier Dennis to help take care of that. It’s also going to be up to Antoine Winfield Jr., Ty Smith in there as well. I am worried about McBride going up against Dennis and David, especially Dennis in my opinion. We’re going to have to wait and see how that matchup shakes up because I imagine the Buccaneers will certainly attack that if they can. Um, they’ve had a little bit of an issue with kicker. Chad Ryland, their current kicker, uh, former Maryland kicker by the way. Shout out Chad Ryland. Um, used to used to be on the Patriots for a little bit, but um, he has an 81% field goal percentage so far this year. He’s missed a few kicks, so maybe he’ll miss one in Tampa. Who knows? We’ll have to wait and see. Um, also kind of weird, they’ve had three punters this year. They’ve had Blake Gillicanin, Pat O’Donnell, and Matt Hack, which is just kind of interesting in my opinion because also they’ve been dealing with injuries at punter. They’re hurt everywhere, man. They really are. Uh, their leading tacklers are Buddha Baker, who is a former, you know, just Pro Bowler great safety in this league. He has 78 total tackles this year. He’s also got an interception. After that, you’ve got a Hakee Davis Gaither who is uh second on the team in tackles. He is somebody worth paying attention to. Jaylen Thompson as well with 72 tackles. Now, I don’t believe M. Wilson is playing in this game. I I I think he is hurt. So, that is something worth paying attention to. He’s been a a pretty big defender for the uh Cardinals so far this year. Their top tackles for lost guy is actually Josh Sweat, who was questionable going into this game. is a guy that I wanted the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to get in free agency, but he went to Arizona, got an absolute bag. He has 15 quarterback hits. He has nine sacks. Would really love for the Bucks to have that right now for goodness sakes. Uh their number two sack artist, by the way, is a 39year-old Kias Campbell. Has five and a half sacks this year and 14 quarterback hits. He’s still doing it at an absolute elite level. Uh in terms of interceptions right now, Denzel Burke and uh Drien Taylor Demerson, great names here. Uh both have two interceptions each that tie the team. Uh Denzel Burke and M. Wilson, or actually Denzel Burke leads the way with seven passes deflected and then M. Wilson and Will Johnson tie with six pass deflections each uh for second place. Also, Josh Sweat has forced three fumbles this year. So fingers crossed that Luke Get and Tristan Worfs can uh really work to contain Josh Sweat cuz he’s a very good edge rusher. Again, I wish this dude was on the freaking Bucks, man. Um but it is what it is and we don’t get everything that we want in life, I suppose. Um let’s go ahead and just wrap this up with potential Arizona Cardinals that have been on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. I mean, one rival or one revenge game to think about. Todd BS, former Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach, which is uh fun, interesting, nice to keep track of. Also, some big news here for the Bucks. Bucky Irving is back. Um, we all knew basically that that was happening, so that is a good good thing to see. Um, but taking a look at some other Arizona Cardinals who are kind of in for a revenge game type of thing. Um, nobody in the wide receiver room, nobody in that quarterback room, tight end, no, I don’t think. No, Bredesen never played for the Cardinals, nor did Dan Feny. So, I think on offense, that’s pretty much it. Defense, the big one. Um, of course, it’s Elijah Simmons, right? No, it’s Hassan Reic, former Arizona Cardinal to start off his career. Elijah Simmons was literally on the Cardinals practice squad this year. So, shout out to Elijah Simmons. I like him. I think he’s a good player. So, aside from that, um, folks, that that may very well be it in terms of the revenge games and stuff like that. Riley Dixon, I don’t think was ever there. Maybe Chase Mclofflin was there. I don’t know. I’m not going to look that up, but maybe he was there. So, there you have it. Shout out to those guys who are uh playing against the Arizona Cardinals. I’m curious. Um, were there are there any other Tampa Bay were there or are there any Tampa Bay Buccaneers on this Cardinals roster? It doesn’t look like it on the offensive side of things. Okay. Defensively, I mean, Josh Sweat is a guy I wanted on the Bucks, but again, we we don’t get nice things sometimes. JJ Russell, but he is on the IR, so he’s not going to be playing in this game. Um Shawn Murphy bunting as well, but again he’s not going to be playing in this game because he is hurt. I think that’s it. I think those are the two guys that were there that are former Tampa Bay Buccaneers was SMB and JJ Russell. And it’s a shame they can’t play, man. But uh there you have it, folks. That is it.
