1. Why get a new manager until we are able to compete? Best to keep him another 2 years.

2. He’s not the one building the team and making spending decisions.

4. It doesn’t really make sense to hire a new manager while they try to rebuild. I assume the extension would only be for a year or two. 

5. Just so stupid. Arguably the worst in measurable stats like bullpen usage and defensive subs.

10. We put up runs this year. It was the pitching that was total ass.

11. The reason I don’t see anybody mentioning is that if the Cardinals actually make a halfhearted attempt to contend this season, Bloom can fire him as a scapegoat when he thinks the team is ready and bring in a real manager

16. How has Marmol made things worse? Seriously. Tell me how he has made this team worse. Did he construct the roster? Is he in charge of player development? Is he in charge of the draft? Does he scout amateur players? Did he tell Mo that we didn’t need Yamamoto? Is he preventing some player on the team from turning into the next Pujols Yadi or Waino? If so what player is that?

    Oh that right, he was a big meanie and told the press that Tyler O’Neil didn’t hustle. Absolutely disgraceful. No manager in any sport has ever publicly called out their players.
