Bad Stafford game but no excuse for the defense to get cooked by run, run short pass for 4 quarters. Offense did enough
Perfect setup for a trap game this week. Tons of Rams hype in the media, Panthers bad enough to lose some focus but good enough to show up and ball out, and east coast game in bad weather. Sucks but we can bounce back from this.
Stafford didn’t have it today and the defense completely buckled. Trap game from a fucking mile away
I mean, for as good of a season he’s had, the game is at least half on Forbes for not being able to stay with Coker and TMac on those 4th down touchdowns.
Gotta bounce back big versus the Cardinals, horns up.
Now we gonna see who is bandwagoner here.
Very hard to win football games losing the turnover battle like that. It let them run the ball all game while Poona was on a snap count. Outside of the uncharacteristic mistakes the offense was outplaying their defense all game. It’s better to be challenged and learn from it now than in January.
We were clearly missing our guys today. No Higs, No Q, Poona on a snap count. This is a good Panthers team who are probably going to win their division. Losing sucks, but we’re still in control of the division just gotta figure out what we look like missing these guys before next week. Rams over everyone.
Absolutely cannot lose that game. Defense was straight a**.
Any given Sunday
Let’s all chill. One bad loss against one average team. A lot of football to be played, and I never wanted to go into the playoffs as the “favorite” anyway.
Use this tape and fire an ass under the team saying this will not happen again
Better to get this out of our system now than later, that’s what I’m gonna tell myself
Classic trap game
Can’t lose the turnover margin 3-0, throw a pick six, have the ‘best’ defense in the league allow 24 points and 7-14 on 3rd down, and lose the TOP by 11 minutes and expect to win a lot of games, especially road games.
Rams better study this tape, because everyone they play will look at it to study what the Panthers did to the Rams D.
Stafford was bad, Forbes’ was worse.
Forbes got cooked twice
Of course we lose this game lol. That’s the NFL for you. That’s why you have to show up each and every week, no matter who your opponent is.
two TOs in the redzone? brutal.
Hope these Panthers show up when they play Seattle
Stafford lost us 13 points. Horrible game out of him
McVay on that final drive was brutal. Didn’t call the timeout to avoid the Delay penalty. Barely ran the ball.
Shula the entire game was fuckin awful. Team played soft.
All that trash talking our defense does. Gotta go look in the mirror and take accountability
Wake up call, Matthew. Let’s not get ahead of ourselves with the SB talk and win the games ahead of us because the NFC West is hard af
Games like this happen man. This is the NFL. The league moves so fast. Anything can happen on any Sunday. Now we will really see what this team is made of to and this season. I believe in our guys to fight!
Trap game. Stafford may lose MVP. Seahawks and 49ers have chance to win the division
I just knew a rug pull was coming, this season was just too fairytale to be true until now. Fuck an MVP or a 1 seed, the Rams are going to have to fight the rest of the season just to win the division. Entire season now hanging in the balance, have to fucking lock in the rest of the way. Fuck this loss is horrible.
Bummer we wasted the catch of the year in a game we should have won.
Better now than in the playoffs. Beat ourselves that game, 3 turnovers, 2 4th down TDs let up by Forbes, a pick 6 and still only lose by 3. We’ll be fine. Just a weird game
Would you put those 2TDs on Forbes alone? Putting him on an island is not it.
Carolina is a capable team, it took a perfect game from them in the rain along with a few absolute fails on crucial place by the Rams. After three turnovers, the Rams still had a chance to win. It was just one of those games. Rams are still a great team and still have a great chance to get to the super bowl.
Forbes absolutely sold. Both 4th down touchdowns against him, couldn’t tackle for shit. If he had made a play on either of those 4th down plays, we’re having a different discussion and Panthers fans are shitting on Canales like they did last week.
The guys thought this would be a cakewalk and got punched in the face. Totally deserved it. Back to the ground now. No more hyping shit. One thing for sure we can’t play under bad weather. So that number one spot is crucial.
Sorry but that was a really bad game by Stafford. Last thing you can do on that last drive is fumble..just fall down and take the sack!!
Also, it shouldn’t have even come down to that because he had Davante WIDE OPEN for a TD earlier in the drive and didn’t even look his way!
I give grace to Forbes because he’s never really been good…when Shula puts him on an island against big physical receiver I expect he’s going to get cooked.
But for Stafford to give the game up in the way while being the front-runner for MVP is heart breaking to say the least..
I honestly think he blew his chances after this game…they’re going to give it to Maye smfh
This is the exact type of game the Rams needed to have before the final push to the playoffs. One that shows exactly where shit can go wrong. People need to stop being so damn doom and gloom after one, albeit pretty disgustingly, bad game. Clean it up, bring it back in, and on to Arizona.
