It not unexpected for Ward to fall short today, he pinged high last week on the radar against the Seahawks who let him do about anything he wanted on the right side scramble. A bounty started and the Jags DC went to work on finding every weak point he could…We got today.
Ward should thank them, and get back to work. Concept of QB is fairly straight forward *”impose your will on the defense.”* Ward’s game plan didn’t work out. I feel like concept may be bit stretched for him, and am telling to take the advice of his OC and HC with some salt. They haven’t exactly been successful.
I give him advice on scramble last week, I didn’t tell him how filter it. It isn’t by team Ward, it is by DC and key rushers. Look at the weakest players and figure mis-matches, look for habits of rushers and set your line for breaks. There obviously no one game plan or rhythm that is going to win him the season.

Cleveland will beat us soundly, twisting the knife into our sides more slowly than ever. My concern is the Saints game. We might actually be able to pull that one off. What that does to our draft standing, I don’t know. But it can’t be good.
