Miami Heat 6-Game Win Streak SNAPPED, Spoelstra Calls Out Jovic, BENCH Herro for Awful Defense
Miami Heat fans, I’m going to be cooking today. First of all, what was Nicole Yovich doing last night? I mean, I just don’t understand, guys. And these questions are are for you guys. What should we do with Nicole Yovich? Because the fact that this man had two points, two rebounds, and one assist. Now, Coach Spo’s holding him accountable, and it’s great because he was cooking wear the same exact way. So, Coach Spo on Nicole Yovich’s confidence to play. I don’t buy that. That’s a narrative that’s out there. He needs to get in better rhythm. He needs to put in some work and he’ll be just fine. And he’s right at this point. His confidence is shot. You can clearly see that he’s overthinking. He looks indecisive on the court. I have never seen a bro, this man was passing the ball to the other team. I’ve never seen it so bad. He was playing as bad as Ter Rosier was last night. And it’s and it’s just crazy because yes, he’s full of potential, but especially how everybody was saying, “Oh, well, you know, Haime took the ball out of his hands and whatnot.” Haime was not playing last night. And this man had five turnovers in 10 minutes. Like, this man had more turnovers than points. He has been absolutely horrendous for this Miami Heat team. And I know a lot of people are going to say, “Oh, well, we could trade him.” No, not yet. Because his his new contract, if he was under his new contract, then you could. But at this point, he’s almost a throwin piece with maybe like an Andrew Wiggins type of contract and a first round pick, but he can’t be centered around the trade. Nico’s a player who confidence plays a lot into his game. He just seemed, you know, I thought I think that uh is a narrative that that’s out there. Um, look, he needs to get in better rhythm. He needs to put in some work. He’ll be just fine. Um but you know the the more you put into it uh and he was sidetracked a little bit with his uh his injury. Um but it’s the attention to detail. It’s the work ethic uh every single day. Um you know that uh has to be you know consistent and he’ll get there. Uh he’ll get in better rhythm. It’s not easy to jump into a game that’s as intense as this and as physical and where you have to be in rhythm and he hasn’t really fully practiced. You know, he did, you know, what we did yesterday without a lot of um, you know, detail work. Yoic, whenever he goes overseas, he’s twerking for Serbia. He’s twerking for, you know, all these tournaments overseas, but when he comes to the NBA, it’s like he forgets how to play basketball. I don’t know what it is. Now, last night, I know a lot of people were cooking Tyler Herro and justifiably so, but Andrew Wiggins and Pal, they had great games. Wiggins, 31 points, six rebounds. Norman Pow, 28 points, two rebounds, and three assists. Tyler Herro, 24 points, four rebounds, and six three-pointers made. The biggest thing about Tyler Hero last night, he was getting cooked defensively. That man was getting fried. Kade Cunningham, Ivy, they were they were pretty much carving him up in the paint. Let me know what you guys think. What is the starting lineup for this Miami Heat team? It’s still early. This is the second game, guys. And this we have to be patient. This is only the second game where Wiggins, Pal, Tyler, and Bam are all playing together. So, obviously, Eric Spa still has to tweak with the lineup. If it’s me, somebody has to come off the bench. And this gets into a whole another topic. It’s hard to bench DaVon because he has the best assist to turnover ratio. He’s the one that’s pushing this fast-paced offense. You have Norman Pal who’s averaging 25. You have Tyler Herro who’s averaging 24. You have Andrew Wiggins where I I’m sorry. I do not see the Miami Heat benching Andrew Wiggins or Tyler Hero. And then for me, Bamit and Khil Wear, they have to start. But let’s start off with Tyler Herro. I honestly think that he’s going to start. There’s no way. I know people, oh, he needs to be benched. Oh, he needs to be traded. I understand that and I hear you guys in the comments, but let’s be realistic. Are they honestly going to do that? No. So, we have to stop pushing that and we need to start actually thinking about realistic things. If it’s me, it’s DaVon, Tyler, then Pal comes off the bench. Wiggins, Bam, and where last night, bro, we were getting dominated in the paint. Okay. The Detroit Pistons almost had 80 points, and I repeat, almost 80 points in the paint. And you’re telling me that you don’t start bam and wear together? And the crazy part is their starting center didn’t even play. Duran, if it listen, if Duran played last night, we would have gotten dominated even more. Yeah, we came back and we made it close, but I just don’t understand. This Miami Heat team struggles with size and rebounding. And we’re not starting Bam and Khloe Wear together. It makes no sense to me. Norman Pal on the Miami Heat lack of paint defense last night. I just think we didn’t make a strong effort collectively. They were getting whatever they want. They were aggressive offensively and we were on our heels until late in the fourth. And he’s right to be honest. They look flat. They were getting out rebounded. No one’s boxing out. No one’s closing out. No one’s actually staying in front of their man. They’re constantly turning over the basketball. That was some sloppy basketball from the about from the first to the third quarter. Just sloppy overall. Like I said, Yish had five turnovers. Even Drew Smith was turning over the ball. Everybody DaVon, I mean, everyone could have been better last night. And it’s crazy because we were still able to make it close. But it’s like what he said. Why on earth is our paint defense terrible and we have a sevenfooter in Kiloware and Bamaba as our defensive anchor. But of course is not playing them together. I just don’t understand. I’m tired of the small ball a little bit. Obviously close to 80 points in the paint for Detroit and a lot of points off the turnovers for sure. Can you just kind of talk about what Detroit was doing maybe in that first half that really got you guys? I mean they’re a paint team, you know. Um that that’s where they live, you know. They they attack the paint. Um they’re aggressive getting to the paint. They attack the paint to play inside out. Um you know, I I thought, uh we just didn’t make a a strong enough stand early in the game. Uh collectively, um they were getting whatever they want. They’re getting down there. They’re finishing um getting fouls uh and ones, whatever it was. Um but, uh yeah, they they were aggressive offensively and we’re kind of on our heels uh um throughout the course of of the game until late in the fourth. So, this is where we stand when it comes to Khilware and Bam. There’s no way that Koware had a dominant November. He had 20 points, 20 points, 20 points, 16, 15, and 14 points. 18, 16, 14, 14, 13, and 20 rebounds. This man almost had 20 and 20. There’s no reason why this Miami Heat team is playing small with the small ball foolishness. There’s no reason why we’re continuing to get outrebounded by the Pistons, by the Knicks, and all these other team, the Milwaukee Bucks. Why? I understand we don’t have a backup five, but I don’t care. We are six and two when Bamona and Khloe start. When it comes to Nicole Yoic, I don’t know what they’re going to do about him, but if he’s going to play sloppy, if he’s not going to play defense, just look at this picture right here. This man turns the ball over and he has his head down. Why do you have your head down? Why did you give up on the play defensively? I just don’t understand. Like I said, when he goes over to FIA, when he goes over to all these other overseas tournament, he’s twerking for joy over there. But then when he comes back to the home to the Miami Heat, it’s like he forgets how to play basketball. And not only that, he’s playing soft. He can’t dribble. He can’t pass. He’s turning the ball over. He can’t like He can’t get to the rim. He can’t make a layup. What is he good at? He is 610 and can’t make a layup. He is 610 and can’t back nobody down. I just don’t understand. And then, like I said, if we’re going to change the starting lineup, give it a few more games. I understand it looks clunky. Guys have to be staggered. What needs to change right now? I need to see Khloe wear in that starting lineup. When it comes to Tyler and Pal, I’m sorry. I do not see the Miami Heat benching Wiggins and I don’t see the Miami Heat benching Tyler Herro. I just don’t see it. So, Pal or DaVon is going to that bench either or. But let me know because I want to know in the comments. You guys are always, “Oh, Martell this oh Martell that.” Then let me know in the comments what do we do with Wear? What did we do with Yoic? What do we do with the starting lineup? Tyler Hero has been atrocious defensively. What do we do with that? And it’s not as easy as just, oh, trade him, trade him, trade him.

Guy's, Herro, Powell, Wiggins, and Bam all played in literally 2 games together. Can we actually let things develop and come together. I mean we do kind of have a coach with 800 wins, 3 nba titles, several finals appearances, and team USA head coach, or I'm I mistaken 🤔. And it's a team defense effort that's needed, not just a 1v1, and I mean playing the help defense randomly and frequently when there are mismatches. No man should be left on a island when it's a clear big defensive advantage. So more effort is needed and more time together is also needed.
5 turnovers…wtf, so he caused almost 1/3 of all of Heats turnovers, send him to G League!
Strart always Bam , Ware wiggins , powell, Herro , no Jovic put keshawn Johnson, jaquez hurt so…
Ware
Bam
Wiggins
Powel
Mitchel
Hero needs to come off the bench for the sake of teams chemistry
Ware needs to start next to Bam
Powell is bigger and a better defensive player than hero
Let’s go heat
Miami!
It wasn’t even the turnovers it was his effort and his enthusiasm on the court. He looks like he was in lala land… it’s crazy because Miami was down 2 or 4 and I said if Spo wants to win this game he’d keep that lineup in then soon as I said that he put JOVIC and Herro in and that lead went right back to 12
I believe and we seen we can win there is no team accountability spo needs to find the right combination and adjust throughout the game but Miami has the talent but who is the captain of this team
Norman gives us our fast starts and high scoring first quarters. With herro we going to average 25 the first quarter.
Ke'el has to start👍
This dumb ass hater pls stop saying spo needs to stop the small ball and play ware. Dude!that’s not even the reason we lose. Detroit is playing small last night with Stewart 6’6” as their center and Reed as their back up stands 6’8”. Even if duren is back duren is only 6’10 same as bam. So what the fck you talking about playing small???ware can’t even contain reed. Reed scored double double. 😅😂 people say Cade is 6’7 and Davion is 6’0” , so as herro is 6’5 and Thompson is 6’7 , Powell is 6’3 while Tobias is 6’7 so you telling me to take Davion who is our facilitator to play ware who can’t even contain reed.😂😂😂😂
Niko gotta go!
Herro has to go. For all you dumb guys. Scoring is not an excuse to keep a player. Basketball is a team game. Get rid of Herro before he looses all his value. We are not going to pay him. Get rid of Herro collect picks for something later. He makes the Heat worst. If you do not understand the concept of great scorers make your team worst that is why the NBA does not sign and one players. If this team not starting Ware and Mitchell no need for me to watch defense is a major part of winning basketball games.
I would not bench Powell……. HELL NAH. bench Wiggins or Herro, we saw what Norman did in this offense thrived it only got stagnant when one player came back Spo better figure it out because we need Ware to start
Jovik needs to handle the ball much better and do a lot more with his min I tes as he's the turnover King!! And they're were those who wanted him to start!!! He need to ride the bench when he doesn't follow the turnover with a chase down block or steal!! As tall as he is he should be blocking! They need to trade him and Terry or send them back to the G league and bring in those two who were lighting up the G league the other day.
You do not bench Norman Powell. He has been playing excellent since training camp through first 20 games of the season.
I think your overreacting to one game against the Detroit pistons. Who play differently to most teams in the NBA. In a series the HEAT beat them. They loss by 3 without Jaquez.
IT is what it ain’t .
Sorry he is a straight CLOWN
He is NOT a PRO
He does not do what it takes off the court ….
HE sucks
What makes a pro is the mental and emotional side of it . He Is Lazy and Immature…
IF he does not get it by now he will never ..
NO excuse ERIC …
2nd consistent clown boy is SMITH
He is very difficult to dislike because he is such a good dude
😡 He is too small
… Toooo short
…. Toooo slow
…. NOT athletic …PERIOD
Smith is always a Net Negative on the play sheet
—————————
For the rest of TIME never play
Smith and JOVIC together
SIMONE is also a net loss
SHORTEN the rotation
Up to me, it would be Davion, Powell, Wiggs, Bam, Ware. I would try Herro, Powell, Wiggs, Bam, and Ware and see if it can be any better than the current. While swapping Powell and Tyler minutes and inserting Davion early in the game if it gets outta hand defensively
Spoe sucks sometimes… they need to trade Jovic…Blame the coach for keeping Jovic in the game…he sucks…sometimes Spoe forgets how to coach!
😡😡😡😡😡😡
Last 3 games ?
SMITH
-18
-15
-14
I can keep going
He is massive LIABILITY
Offenses Feast on his small body
Too slow and non athletic
He is NOT ELITE in anything
I like him as a teammate and he is smart and scrappy
( with Duncan he had the 3 point shot … he was worth the liability on D )
SMITH “ mid “ jack of all trades and master of none ..
OUR Biggest problem is defending.
Very athletic small forwards or big 2 guards ………. Pella is nice with the D .
Promote GARDNER … he is a freak show and will be a game defender
We need to get bigger
Mitchell is a freer defender but can get exposed against BIG 2 guards … he is small…. He is a PLUS in the Boxscore but we need 2 game defenders
Gardner
& a game BIG in the paint
Martel let me tell you something tyler hero is terrible is why he doesn't play no defense when the attack him he move out of the way not even challenging the shot that's bad bro
Spo suck to think god he work for organization that care for people he would fired else where
I say we bench Tyler he can still be an all star as a 6th man
Tyler wasn't guarding him Mitchell was. Did he watch the game
Bench Mitchell. This team can create their own shots and he doesn't rebound. He doesn't create extra possessions for the team. Also he was the one getting cooked by Cade. He was too small to be out there against him.
For somebody that has a YouTube channel about basketball you kind of have some casual ticks. Then Reason they don't start both the Biggs. It's cause they have no backup bigs hey bigs do play together for a while during the game , they just don't start to together also I actually like the new office , and if I trust spostra , to put that in and run that , then I trust his linux or at least his tinkering
It’s gotta be Davion off the bench. And then stagger Powell and Herro when stronger defense is needed.
I don’t understand how Spo is such an amazing coach yet makes these line up decisions that ultimately contribute to losses. He really needs to stop being so stubborn and make the obvious line up choices instead of trying to play 4D chess.
Need to put him in the same cell with Scary Terry 😂
Jovic is not the problem guys..Its the lineups..You have to put those who produce and defend at high levels…He's not ready for this type of play..This style is not Euro
basketball he only can play 1 style..Every Big that we have is pretty mobile..Its the lineups..spo is playing hop scotch instead of mix and match the right line up.
Wiggins need 2 come off the bench
Jovic had a bad game but if they do trade him it would be interesting to see what they could get back.
Coach Spo needs a scapegoat because his game play was flawed from the start (not starting Ware) They get killed in the paint and Ware sits 26 minutes; what an idiot excuse for a coach. Ware is the 18th best % shooter in the NBA ad still 6th in rebounding in the league, playing less than 25minutes a contest. Can't play Ware because Wiggs and Tyler both make a ton more jack than Ware. Spo hates fans like me touting Kelel and he bristles every time anyone questions the coach about how the Slender Rim Bender. What a small take by Spo. Trade Ware and do him the greatest favor in his baSKETBALL LIFE
SPO DOESN'T CARE WHAT THE FANS THINK, COACH IS NOT A TRUE LEADER. Ware absolutely must play 32 minutes a game and she will lead the NAB in rebounding. Between Tylers NO-defense and Spo's lousy coaching they are ruining the team.
We need to have this conversation with Tyler. As good as he’s been for us last year in the regular season, he hurts the team with his lack of defensive ability. While his value is still high, we need to give him up for a star big.
I was and have been correct Jovic, should've never gotten a contract..Herro is a zero..the play better without him,now watch Riley extend him also…if so this team is in purgatory
Jovic has to see the same shrink that treated JJJ.
I turned off the TV when Jovic passed thr ball to the Pistons in consecutive possession, he even made Duncan look like a super start.
Jovic lost his confidence herro is a liability on defense Cunningham went in and shot freely and herro just backed off and bam need to take lessons from Stewart or Ware 15 points in 33 mins as a max player not acceptable
