Wyatt Johnston Hat Trick Leads Stars To 6-1 Rout Of Senators | DLLS STARS POSTGAME
on this time. We’re We’re getting it figured out. We’re on. He said live. He didn’t say the f- word. He didn’t curse in any other way. Or as they say down south, he didn’t cuss. Buds. Yeah. Do you know the expression a team is a wagon? Yeah, they’re a wagon. The Dallas Stars are a wagon right now. They’re they’re a big big wagon. four wins in a row, points in six, 50 and one, and points in 18 of their last 20 games. That means they have two regulation losses in their last 20 games. That’s 800 hockey. Are we having fun yet? The LLS Stars postgame show starts right now. This is the DLLS Stars postgame show after a 6 to1 drubbing of the Stars on the Ottawa Senators. Hey, everything you said in the open. Yeah. You look, they’re still four points behind Colorado and Colorado has a game at hand yet. It’s so funny you said that because and they’re only a couple what four or five points behind Minnesota. I was looking at that like today when I was getting ready to prep for this and I go, man, they have to win to get within four of their division leader and but but again at the end of the day or the beginning of the day, how you want to look at it, I don’t think that matters. I mean it it really doesn’t matter. I I just think let it play out. You know, if you get home ice in the first round, obviously that’s better, but let somebody else beat up. If if this if it ends today, let somebody else beat up on Colorado. And you get get to play the M the red-hot Minnesota Wild who’ve been phenomenal and have two good goalies right now. One one’s going to be, you talk about a wagon, there’d be two wagons going at it. It would just be a covered wagon demolition derby. Yeah. With those two teams. The other one’s a little bit different if you had to play Minnesota. We got a long way to go though. He’s Craig Lewig. I’m Owen Newkerk. Tanner Rottman is our producer filling in for Ryan VAS today. And although we miss Ryan, we’re having a lot of fun with Tanner, too. Tanner is also a top class producer usually for the DLS Mav show. You say also is a top class. He is. We’re having fun. So, you’re saying that Ryan isn’t? Oh, no. I’m definitely is Ryan’s fantastic. I’m just saying that in addition to having fun with Tanner, he’s also very good. So, Ryan, we love you. We miss you. LS can’t wait for you to get back, but not at the expense of Tanner at all. So, it’s funny you say that though about Colorado less. They have one regulation loss in 25 games. One. That’s insane. But, you know, Winnipeg out of the backup goalie, a so-called backup goalie. You might make the Olympic team for Canada, which is nuts. The idea that Scott Wedge would maybe crazier things could happen. Winnipeg last year went on an insane run to start the year. What did they go? I think like 14-1 or something in their first 15. Again, it’s not about those first eight stars got passive. Yep. it it you know that those 82 games are are kind of a setup and get get your game in order and go through a bunch of speed bumps and all that other kind of stuff and and by the time you get to game 83 you want to have everything worked out and I think the way that Glenn Gullixson has gone about his business through the first 25 26 games learning pairs and lines and who belongs in which spots and and to just put Miko Ratnon out there every other shift if you can and Wyatt So, I I just, you know, you just and again, another another Dallas star goes down today. You know, you’re hoping you’re hoping you get that that kind of injury bug out of the way and then maybe for your last 30 games, everybody’s healthy or 20 games, everybody’s healthy of the season and kind of get up to as quick as you can to that speed you need for the playoffs. I love Missy in the chat says, “Jayinger versus Scott Wedgwood in the Olympic gold medal game. Wouldn’t that be wild?” Yeah, I I don’t know if that’s going to happen, but that would that would be a good problem to have for us and Canada. He would want to be there. Y um alongside Luds, we will have uh Sam joining us from the AAC a little bit later. But before we get into all of the storylines tonight, let’s talk about the Black Friday Cyber Monday sale here at DLSS, which is why I switched out of the dress shirt tonight. We brought in the old SA uh not Sean, the Madano 16bit shirt. This is one of the original DLS hockey shirts that we’ve had. Check out the the graphic that Tanner flashed on the screen. Everything is on sale at least 30% off. Some stuff could be as much as 90%. It is a big big deal. We’ve had a lot of success. And oh, by the way, Superman over here also wants to get on the act. He has his DLS flag shirt on tonight. Well done, Leds. This is for Ben. Yes. And so you said to wear it. He didn’t say he had to wear it on the outside or the inside. I’m wearing it. I’m guessing Ben would like you to be displaying that shirt, but but again, you’ve got it. So, check that box. Luds did wear a deal in the fine print. I looked, but hey, help us out. Look, how about this one? This is the Wyatt Johnston 16 bit. I didn’t have that one available to take tonight. I probably in the laundry. Fourth career NHL hattick for Wyatt. Two of them on the power play. He leads the NHL with 12 power play goals. Leslie’s on pace for over 30 power play goals for the season. That’s insane. And we talked about it. What’s the record? 32. There you go. Is I believe, right? Wasn’t that the record? I think I said 36 and you may have said 32 or 34. I was way off. Now I got to look it up again. Whatever it was, by the way, it’s Tim Kerr. Um it was Tim Kerr. Played against him. Couldn’t move him. And yeah, he was a mountain of a man. He still is, I’m sure. So I’m going to do that. um most power play goals in a season, but I’m going to have to put all the seasons in. So, you like this vamping? This is really world class stuff right here. The alltime record was Tim Cerr and it was 34 is still 34. So, the closest that they’ve come recently was two years ago or three years 223. Leon Dryidle had 32 tying Dave Andchuk for second. By the way, Andrew Truck had 32 combined that played that season 9293 between Buffalo and Toronto, which is an interesting combination. But there’s also some guy named Lemieux that has 31 a couple of times. And our buddy Joe Newandike has 31. You know what else I just saw with our new producer or our sit in or whatever we’re calling it? Yeah. He’s rubbing it in my face over there. And look at the big smile on his face. You know why he’s rubbing? Why? Because I just saw I just saw something over there. He was wetting his whistle. Do you want one? Yes, I would love one. Yeah. So, Tanner and Luds share an affinity for a certain beverage. But, but I have to say, don’t call right now. Well, Tanner is more of the craft kind of guy. He gets those those other kinds of beers, the fancier beers. Yeah. And he brought he brought one in. I think it was called uh something blonde. Tanner, what was it? Something blonde. Dallas Blonde. Dallas. Dallas Blonde. Yeah, he brought some Dallas Blonde in a few months ago. And I didn’t mind that. Now Bond is deep deep and brewery, right? This is what somebody behind the scenes would be doing. Now they’re telling you to stretch it until we get back. Well, we could talk about the story. You don’t need him. Wyatt Johnson leading the NHL in and not listen to this. So he has 12 power play goals, which is by far the most in the league right now. The second highest is Leon Dryidle and a bunch of others with seven. He has a five power play goal. Look at that. Now see Ryan, this is something you would never do. Look at that. He brought you one and an extra. I love it. The DLS Mavs Pod official beer is They have an official beer and we don’t. Not at the moment. That’s not right. Are you hearing that out there all beer people? But think about that, L. Wyatt Johnson has five more power play goals through 26 games than anyone else in the NHL. Not just down lower. We’re talking second place. Dryidle, De Brusk, Capri off, De Brinket, and Doraf all have seven. And Wyatt has 12. And just so you know, I think I already told you this though, I did remind someone of that like 15 minutes ago right after his last power play goal. I did shoot a text message to someone. Oh, I just wanted to remind that person out there that I don’t know, you know, he doesn’t need a lot of time off in February. He can well he can get a passport. Would you Okay, so that’s an interesting question. Would you like Wyatt to make the Canadian Olympic team? Cuz right now he’s definitely part of the group, but he’s on the bubble. Yeah. Well, that bubble should be about ready to pop. But yeah, of course we’d like to see him there. Well, selfishly selfishly you I mean again for Well, again, he is Canadian, so yeah, I’d like to see him there. Maybe he’ll get tired there. And because I’m I’m American, so you have two different things pulling on the rope right now because you have I want my Dallas Stars guys healthy for the stretch on the playoffs, but you also have the Hey, I’m cheering for Team USA and Right. Yeah. No, I I think for any any Dallas Star that has the opportunity to play in the Olympics, we want them there. Um, and why I think would be I don’t know how you don’t I mean the bubble hole thing has got to be going out the door right now, but um but yeah, I’d love to see him there. I mean, I’d love to see everybody there, but I just want them all to come back healthy for sure and and as rested as they can be. LS uh Anthony Fouchy, I’m sure it’s the real one, said Stars crush these guys. That’s your new drop. There you go. They’re crushing a lot of people. Here’s the thing. For a long stretch, Dallas was fighting games, right? They were grinding games a little bit differently lately. Is that because of the proficiency on the power play that all of a sudden? Here’s what I would say though, too, is look at a couple of the teams that they’ve played. I mean, that always plays into it. Here’s another team that’s a it’s a generally a scrappy team. I just think they’re getting a little low on gas. This is what you said, six of seven. This is game six of seven on their road trip. I mean, it’s a long road trip. It’s a long road trip for Ottawa. Um but but again I I think the other thing is is some things are coming together. I mean you know you get the new guy behind the bench and changes a few things here and there and you know there’s some tweaks that are happening but I think they’re getting a little bit more comfortable. Here’s the crazy thing. Points in 18 of 20. They have played 800 hockey. 32 points earned out of a possible 40. That goes from October 23rd against the LA Kings. Remember they lost in overtime. You didn’t like the defensive track back of Rope Hints with Adrien Kempe scored that one-time Harley jumped over a little bit. Remember Thomas Harley? Think about that. I remember they’ve been doing this with Harley going down and Lungquist injured and then they lost Labouchkin who came back tonight. Now Bishell is hurt. Matt Duchain has been out. Ben was out for a big chunk of the early part of the season. Can you remember or actually I won’t even trivia this. I’ll just tell you the two regulation losses from late October through now are both at home was Anaheim Anaheim they lost seven to five and then couple weeks ago it was the New York Islanders where they lost 3 to2 that was one goal game that was the redfaced Patrick Wah they tied it at the buzzer but they said no it was goalie interference on Robo on Sroken and think about that they have played for a month and a half without a road loss in regulation and only two home regulation losses. But let’s not get too excited about things because they still have a little less than threequarters of the season left to go. Yeah, there’s a lot of time left. But but again, I I think all good things that when when something something’s bound to happen, you know, where they’re going to get into a little bit of a rut. I don’t think it’s going to be a big one with this team, but but they will, like I said earlier, they’re going to draw back on on these times. And at the beginning of the year when they were they were they lost a game or two that they felt they should have win and more importantly they they won a couple games or three or four games what it may be and they probably shouldn’t have won but it was because of either a number 96 or a 53 or one of the goalenders that that bailed them out. Well remember at the beginning of the season they beat Winnipeg and Colorado and then home against Minnesota. So they’re 3 and 0 to start the year. None of the games were great. There were either race out to the lead, give it up in Winnipeg or in Colorado was just back and forth craziness, but they found a way to win in a shootout. Then the Minnesota game, big lead, Minnesota comes back and then they do it to Vancouver lead and Vancouver takes it to them. They lose four in a row. They lost at home to Vancouver. They lost at St. Louis, which was their only regulation loss on the road so far this year. I’m chuckling because that sounds almost ridiculous to say. Then they lost and this was I think their worst game of the year at home to the Columbus Blue Jackets 5 to1. Just a really ugly performance. Then they lose in overtime to the Kings. It was a better game. They dominated early. Kings got back in it. They win OT, but it was a it was winless in four. And I think a lot of people and we heard some people saying Gully’s not the right guy. Maybe fire him already. And you’re going, you’re getting kidding me, right? Like just go back to that. That was October the 23rd. They had lost four straight games. You know what? Maybe. And now they’ve gone on. But when I just What did I just say before? Like, you know, they there’s going to find a time when they win or lose two, three, four. They might do it again. No, maybe that was it. I think that was maybe that was it. That that could be it. They could just be sailing all the way down. But I will say with that time there, there was you could see little issues with what they were trying to do, what the new coaching staff was doing. They there were things there and they were stuck. They were stuck in neutral because they were remembering from the last few years what they did. Now there’s some other thing that you’re supposed to do and you’re not supposed to go running around the ice. We’re supposed to whoop put on the brakes. Little supposed to be here. But in this game, how fast they are now, that little tap on the brake, they got caught. They got caught, you know, standing still and pass here, pass there, and then ends up in the net. And so maybe that was it. you know, now they’re they’re settling into When you guys won the President’s Trophy, did you have a rut in the season or was this a pretty constant? I think our rut was earlier. I No, no, not the president trophy. It was It was like a year or so before that. We felt we were we knew we were getting to a point and but then what happened is the smarter people above us started taking over and unplugging and plugging in players and and those players a lot of them you know a few of the key ones came from Montreal and places like that they knew the system cuz it’s what we had played back in that you know that that period of time and so that was an easier fit and and guys just kind of seamlessly stepped in and along with that you know there for a couple good leaders that came in and Joe Nuundike Nandike didn’t actually play in Montreal obviously but you know he he knew enough and Calgary didn’t play that much different honestly and so there was uh it was pretty easy for those guys to fit in. Luds you were talking about Colorado and they have 42 points in 25 games which is they’re 181 and six. They have obviously a nice cushion at the top of the NHL standings and Dallas’s win tonight, as you mentioned, brought it within four of the team with the best record in the league. But Dallas at 175 and four have a four-point cushion over everybody else. They’re in a really I mean, we played a clip of Jake in the pregame show. They’re in a really good spot, but let’s not c I mean, let’s be happy and enjoy it because they’re I think they’re defending better. You talked about some systems things to work out and then they’re they’re scoring when they need to and it it but it didn’t feel like they were ever chasing this one. It felt like they okay 1-1 fine. It was kind of sluggish in the beginning for both clubs. Yeah, there wasn’t a lot there. Then they scored. Robo got the goal right back. But then from there it was just like we’re going to wait till you make a mistake. We’ll pounce when we need to. And 6-1 again. I I I just think that this group doesn’t there’s no panic right now where whatever moment you are in the game, whether it’s the first period, second period, if you’re tied, if you’re up a goal, but you’re not playing well, if you’re down two goals, you know, we’ve seen that and you talked about that there. I don’t know what you said, four or five times this year. They come back from two goals down there. This is just this is who we are. This is how we play. um if we’re a little sleepy at this part of the game, we’re going to wake up and we have, you know, we have confidence and the way that they play fast and smart, they find a way to draw two, three opportunities on the power play every night. And a lot of teams do, but this group is like, you feel like they’re just waiting for it. You know, that group of five, they’re they’re waiting for get on in that power play. You know, that that’s what it feels like to me. And I do think that their opponent now because they haven’t made a complete lap around the league as far as playing everybody. Not yet, but I think that the word is out like you don’t want to take penalties against this team. And really when that happens, you go into the game kind of back a little bit. You don’t want like this Ottawa team. you know, it said I was talking to someone today, probably my kid telling them what to bet on, but but like they they’re they’re this team wants to get up and play in-your-face hockey, but in the back of their minds, probably from Travis Green in the front of their minds going, “We can’t take poor penalties in this because if we do, they got a power play that’s hot and that will probably be part of his postgame speech and things like that.” But the word is out now. The word is out obviously what this team can do on the power play. very similar to what was it two years ago when Edmonton was clicking along at about the same rate. Some were in the same neighborhood. They were in the 35 30. Yeah. Every time they stepped on the ice in the power play, you just felt they were going to score. Well, we’ve gone way past our first break time because we’re just so excited not only about Black Friday, but also the Stars keep winning. Isn’t that fun, DFW sports fans? All right, up next we’ll break it all down. LS will get into the details of this one on DLLS. Speaking of details, I have two of these funky reads, and I’m not sure if I’m reading the first one in the right order, but anyway, we’ll just go this way. Uh, you remember the time Shady Race? Do you know what that sound is? Sounds like a sad bell. That is Jason Robertson’s agent calling Jim Nil after Robertson I don’t know. Jim may be calling his agent and saying, “Let’s get this deal done.” His agent’s going, “Hold up. Let’s hang on a little bit here.” So, Scott Oak, you know who Scott Oak is. Scott Oak is on uh Sportsnet up in Canada. He does after hours and and always does a great job. It’s the end of hockey night in Canada. He usually has a player. It’s the late one. It’s the late game. It’s the late one. Well, he had Jim Nil on and Tyler Sean the other night after the Stars played last Saturday, which was Calgary, which I didn’t think. No, no, that was Edmonton. Uh, wasn’t it? No, that wasn’t Saturday. What was last Saturday, was it? Anyway. Yeah, exactly. Um I can’t even remember what it was. I think it No, it was it was the Vancouver game, right? No, it was Calgary. It was Saturday night at Saddle. Anyway, you just do my qualis now. No. Are we there? Anyway, luds, he said, “How can you?” He said to Jim nil, “How can you keep both Mico Ranson and Jason Robertson?” And Jim said, “Oh, we’ll find a way as far as salary. They they will. But remember when people were saying early when he was slumping nine games without a goal, you’re not paying him1 12 million a year. Guess what? He’s got 16 goals. He had three before that slump broke. He’s had 13 in the last couple of weeks. He’s been on absolute heater. Isn’t that going to be something when when he gets what he gets or whatever it may be? Yep. Wyatt, who’s got 15 goals, is going to be sitting there going, “Wait a minute.” at 85 and just signed an 8-year deal and Yep. Well, you know, Wise has got 16 now. That hatrick tied him with Robo for team lead. All right, let’s break it down, Luds, because we have a lot of them to get to and know we already talked about a lot of things. So, first period, well, no goals there. Anything? Do you have takeaways from that opening 20 minutes? As we talked about, it was pretty tight, low event first period. I I felt that that game was exactly the way that Ottawa wanted to go. That was the kind of game they wanted to play. a road game against anybody, but especially this team. They, you know, they they were they weren’t as aggressive. I think they tried the opening shift and naturally Kachchuck was the first one. I believe it was his his first shift out there in front of the net. He wanted to serve the pot like he usually does, but but he never made a trip to the to the box tonight, I don’t believe. Did he? Who? Kachchuck. He did, but he was filling. So, I don’t Is this after a scrum? Do you remember the hints Dylan Cousins? Yeah. Could Chuck serve the extra because he they had a Oh yeah. Yeah. So he didn’t wait. Cousins got four and Robo got two or sorry not Robo Hints roughing and so Kach but Kachchuck didn’t actually get a penalty of his own. Yeah. Okay. I didn’t think he did. That’s actually I my first instinct to say wait a second why would they send him over there but thinking you would want him coming out of the box and maybe there’s a chance for him to go down on opportunity to score a goal coming out and they probably weren’t putting him on the penalty kill for that moment then. So the only high danger I had of the entire first period belonged to Oscar Beck and it was a great play by Tyler Sean to set him up. Yeah, he went Tyler went behind the net as a righty. He’s coming down the left side. He goes behind the net and so he’s on his forehand when he turns and throws that puck back out. And obviously it’s a lot of skill and talent, but that hard directly for the one-time from a from a righty almost halfway behind the net and his just comes out to a lefty that’s coming right down the slot. Yeah. Yeah, it was a great pass. Great shot though, too. And uh Mark made a save. So sometimes you just applaud to the goalie. Well, you go to the second period, low shots, low chances, and then of course the first one, as you would expect, a game like that goes in off a skate is Maverick Bourc in his 100th career NHL game gets the goal. The the only thing that was surprising, well, the most important part about that, I think, was prior to that, before the puck even came out and got to to the point that Labouchkin was the b the wall battle. There were three of those guys won some 50-50 pucks. That whole line, it was it was Richie Ritz and and uh the goal scorer and Beckenborg and I I think uh that was the most impressive part for me. And the one thing that puzzled me, speaking of Kachchuck is when Labouchkin took that shot, Kachchuck skating right in front of the puck, he’s really got it in his lap. I was surprised he didn’t just grab the puck. He didn’t do anything. He just kind of, you know, stand back because he could he could have knocked it down. He could have put threw his hip in front of it. Um a defenseman would have done that, but I guess he didn’t want to go back on the IR. So, yeah, and a fortunate bounce and hit sport can escape. That came at just under the two-minute mark of the second period that opened the scoring and then it took almost 7 minutes later, but after a long shift in the Dallas zone, Jake Sanderson would tie it. Great shot from the left circle and it’s 1-1 almost halfway through the period. The only bad thing I don’t like saying it is Jamie Ben lost a wall battle to Shane Pinto, which was odd. So, that that’s ultimately how the puck got off the wall. Jaime lost that. He made up for it later on in the game. But yeah, it was u it was a soft goal. Casey would want that one back, but that was the only one he gave up all night. And he did make some good saves and it beat him. I think possibly he missed his shot. I don’t know if he got everything on it. Uh cuz when you look at it in slow-mo, it looked like it was kind of sliding a little bit off the toe of his toe of the blade of a stick. So maybe he missed it a little bit and threw Casey off. Well, it didn’t last very long because less than a minute later, Jason Robertson got his 16th of the year. He scores an unassisted goal at 920 and Dallas takes a 2-1 lead right back. It was a great response. He has goals in nine of his last 10 games. And I said before, 13 goals in those 10. Robo won a puck battle on the wall, took the puck away from Stuttzel. Then when he takes the puck away from Stuttzel, he’s coming across the top of the circles and he acts as if he’s going to reverse it. And guess who’s on his back? Stutzel. And when he fakes to reverse it, Stutzel goes for the fake. Next thing you know, the whole lane opens up and it’s the last thing you want to do with Robo is give him some time and space. And it was over the glove hand of all Mark. It was a again another perfect shot. Great shot. It’s two to one just like that. Then we get a something that doesn’t happen very often these days. Wyatt Johnson scores an even strength goal and they take a 3-1 lead. Now this came about 6 minutes after Robo’s goal but Rantin and Robertson the assist and Wyatt who and this goal ls is the first of three consecutive primary assists for Miko who rantin mo to Wyatt the p provider is this the one we got the breakdown on Tanner is this the one I was just checking to see if you’re I didn’t I saw you over there open up another bottle of beer I wasn’t So, do we have the breakdown on this one here? This is the no looker. This is the fourth goal of the game. This would be the third Dallas goal. When I open that, you were really he like opening a beer is like a like l Well, it’s like a bell going off. It is Pavlovian for sure. What is it? Pavlovian. You’ve heard of Pavlov? You know, ring a bell makes the dog salivate. That that old I think we went through this last year too about this whole dog thing. I think so. I don’t know anything about Okay. Well, Pavlov was a scientist, a behavioral scientist. It it it’s a whole Okay. Well, let’s show the video. Well, we don’t have video. We have still shot. If you hear a beer can open and you go, I’m thirsty. That’s Pavlovian. Okay. So, we don’t have that breakdown or we do. No, we do. No. So, let’s show that one. This Well, so what the puck? Um I see six to one final score. This would be the third one. I love that you read this one every single time. I And I love I’m getting it right every single time. It’s a test. Yes. You’re saying the right one. Here’s another one. Whether whether this is right telepathic kind of stuff or not, but you know, Mo takes the shot, but the the whole it’s the passing thing that you just go, how does he know where people are? So, Randon’s got the puck and Wyatt’s on the other side of the net. Okay. So, Randon can’t get it to him. So, as he starts to come to the net, Wyatt again knows exactly what’s where he should be. He comes across the front of the net and you can’t see Ranton. He’s looking behind the net looking for somebody to pass to. But as I say that, he passes the puck out on his backhand right onto the tape. And and Mark, I believe, thinks he’s going behind the net cuz he starts to pull off the post. I don’t know if Wyatt actually got this where he wanted to. I’m thinking he probably wanted to get it upstairs. He doesn’t. It gets down by the glove hand of all Mark. Ultimately, it goes in the goal. But this is the spot that I believe I found where Ranton actually finds Wyatt. It’s when he first touches this puck. He’s got his head down, but I think his peripheral vision and I don’t think he sees the stick, but I think he sees the socks. So, he knows that he’s got somebody that’s got interior. I mean, he takes another couple steps and he probably knows that it’s Wyatt somehow and that he’s a righty, not a lefty. And he puts it right on his tape. And who’s the first guy to point at him is Wyatt. And Wyatt is going, “Dude, I can’t believe you saw me.” I love when a player celebrates on a great credit to who it started with and goes and right to the guy that sets him up because look, if you have to make a great shot, you can celebrate and be all excited about yourself. But if you have an easy goal, now I’m not saying that one was an easy tap in, but it was a great finish. But like Jaime’s goal, when it threads the needle and you’re just tapping it in, yeah, you go, that’s a heck of a pass right there. Yeah, you have to give that guy credit cuz it’s a great play and and like most of the time it’s coming from that 96 guy. I mean, you just so much and you were beside yourself watching the the ones I’m blown away by this guy. I I just I just think he is unbelievable the things that he sees and when he has people draped on his back. But again, another lesson for the kids is he knows where he’s going with that puck before he even touches it. He surveys everything as he’s on the move to get the puck. I think he knows when people are coming at him. We’ve seen that enough because there’s no way. I know he’s a big strong cat. But but he knows where they are. Moose. Moose. Oh, yeah. Big moose. Big moose. All right. Well, we’re going to break down the rest of it in a moment as Tanner texted me at the same time. I was already going to hit it because we have a break here. Are we ls? Oh, way past it. Oh, man. Only a couple minutes. Well, then I I’ll probably have to pass on my last read then. All right, let’s talk about prize picks. Now, unfortunately, I got too busy getting our prep done today that I did not put make a lineup for tonight. So, I don’t have a prize pick lineup to tell you about, but I can tell you how easy they are to do. I should have taken a couple minutes to put one in so that when we have a prize picks read, I can tell you this is what happened because the other night I got five out of six. I ended up winning $35. Pretty nice on my lineup. So anyway, anywhere from two to six players in your lineup. It’s very easy. You can do it for all sorts of different sports. I typically have tried to do it for the starters games so we can talk about it, but we’re talking about EPL, NFL, NBA, Major League Baseball, you name it. We can come up with a sport. But I’m sure that they have something for you. Super easy and it’s a lot of fun. And of course, you should just download the Prize Pix app today because using the code DLS will get you $50 in lineups after you play your first $5 lineup. That’s code DLS to get $50 in lineups after you play your first $5 lineup. Prize picks. It’s good to be right. All right. Is he in front of his camera is the question as we bring Sam Nestler in. I shouldn’t have even said his name because I Sam Tanner blew your cover because I said, “Is he in front?” He shook his head. He wasn’t in front, but then when he heard me say, “Let’s bring on Sam,” Sam quickly ran in front of the screen. I’m here. I’m here. Nothing to see here. All right. All the excitement aside, uh, we got through our breakdown up to the end of the second period with one exception, and it was the Lean Bishell injury where he went feet first into the boards. Lud showed me a couple of still shots that he took that looked pretty bad as far as an ankle thing. What’s the update for Leon after the game from the coaching staff? Yeah, no, no specific update as we expected, but they did say he’s going to be evaluated further tomorrow. Uh the positive side that Golson said and he he stood there and thought about it for a second looked like he was whether wondering if he would say it or not. Um he said that they are hoping it’s less serious than they initially thought. So, I’m not sure if that’s because the once he got in the room, maybe it it felt better or imaging. I don’t know exactly what the reasoning, but uh it seems like there is a little more positivity around it than there was when he initially left the game and went off the ice. So, um he’ll be evaluated. I don’t know if that’s imaging or what specifically tomorrow. Uh they won’t practice actually tomorrow, so they’re going to have another day off and travel to New York uh tomorrow. So, we won’t find anything out until morning skate from the Garden on Tuesday. But I will say, I don’t know if you guys mentioned it already, but he did uh injure that an left ankle uh 2023, had the plate put in, just had that plate removed this summer after the season. So, um hoping that it’s minimal, whatever it is, but it didn’t look good. When you saw Lud’s him go down and you saw him immediately riv, the trainer Dave Zeiss was out there very quickly. the two team doctors who are poised in seats in the arena very close to the access to the the the ice, they were out there pretty quickly. It didn’t look very good and then he got up and he put no weight on his left leg at all. Were you concerned? I think the way the reason that they came out there is because the way that he was reacting to it. You you could tell he was in pain and generally when that happens, you know it’s something serious. And and I found four different clips, five different clips. what what ultimately you you want to tell me after. You want to let Sam keep on? No, go ahead for a second. Um, so Sam, I don’t know if you got a chance to look at it. I looked at it over and over again. What I think happened is when he was going into the wall and we’re seeing it here, Sam, he steps on the skate. Uh, who is that? Is that So, he steps on the skate and when his foot comes off of his skate, it slides down and when it hits the ice, his skate, it’s going to be the next shot right here. This is sliding over the top of his skate. And then when what happens is his ankle his skate leg is going to go underneath his body as it comes off the top of the skate and here’s where he starts to roll his ankle. I and I did something like this playing football and and then I thought maybe when he went into the board something else happened but I think this is it right here cuz he rolls it. He goes into the boards his skate has that that left foot isn’t backwards or anything scary like that. And I believe what he did and again I would it’s not a good thing but I’m thinking best case scenario it’s a a sprain hopefully not a high ankle sprain because that’s where and Yuri Letin had that before those when I’ve heard that the high ankle sprains at sometimes are better that you break it because that high ankle one can linger on for a long time but I think that’s what he did. I think he just rolled it when he came down because his heel caught and his toe and it just kind of sent his blade and his ankle turned over to his left side. Sam, what was other than the Bishial injury, what was the postgame reaction? Was it positive or was was that sour because of that moment? No, not at all. Uh it it was very positive. The the team was talking about I think similar to what we talked about Friday, they they really feel that this this is coming along. And it’s funny to say that it’s coming along when this team is uh you know 10 one and two in the last 12 games absolutely dominated the month of November winning in every way possible getting great goalending power plays best in the league Wyatt Johnston Leasley I mean all the things they have the fact that they’re even using the term I know they’re hockey players and hockey coaches but the fact that they’re still thinking they’re figuring things out and there’s still more to learn that that’s just what is this team going to look like in in 30 40 games if they do figure it out and play Glennson said it was quick to say first answer immediately that he believed that was the best 60 minutes they’ve played. Complete 60 minutes. Um, you know, little slower in the first offensively, but Jason Robertson said it perfectly. If we’re coming out in the first and we’re not really putting a lot of offense, we can at least take pride in the fact that we’re not giving up much, right? And they didn’t give up a whole lot at anything. It was very low event hockey in the first period. Um, you know, the Stars were were pretty honest about they took one and a half almost two days off after the Seattle game. They’re kind of expecting it to be a little slow. No morning skate today. uh they they were expecting a kind of a slow start, but the fact that they were able to lock it down so much because the way this Ottawa team creates offense is off the forche, right? You add Brady Kachchuck to that mix and it’s even more so that the fact that they were able to not get him in their own end, you know, you turn over one puck here and there, uh you allow a big hit from Kachchuck or Cousins or someone else to turn over a puck and gets get kind of stuck in your own end. That’s where you can really get in trouble. And if you’re starting slow and then you do that, they could have been down in this game quickly. But the fact that they were going back there immediately turning their head and getting the puck off whether it was a high flip, quick a quick up to the wall where it was just a quick chip off the wall. Luds knows that I due to the perfection. Um they were doing it they were doing it really well to the point where Ottawa was just never even able to get in on the forche and that was a huge part of their success in the first and allowed them to really start to dictate that game. So uh the the most complete game of the year was kind of the theme around here. Led is still joking about your chip off the wall joke which you have used a lot. It was more about how he called for it like we’re playing in an alumni game and there’s nobody near him but nobody near him and he yelled I go back to get the puck and he yells wall and I threw it up the wall for him and I’m like well why do you just want to put it on your tape and then he got it and he chipped it up off the wall and there was nobody near him. Then he went in and for a good that’s a good fourth liner. I changed I changed. How often do you get to chance to yell for Craig Lewig to throw it off the wall to you? I had to do it. I had to do it. That’s a fair point. So, this team, Sam, is points in 18 of 20. They’ve won four in a row. 50 and one in their last six on a point streak. There’s the Pavlovian ring a bell and I’ll salivate. I knew they grabbed two. I knew I should mute it or a wise saw it coming. No, he knew you needed a second one for sure. Uh, but we were saying this to open the show and my last thing for you tonight is this team is kind of a wagon. Yeah. No, they are. And it’s fun to watch because they do it all different ways, right? Like it’s I mean, there’s a few themes here. Wyatt Johnson’s probably going to score a power play goal pretty much every game. Jason Robertson probably also going to score a goal, but it’s cool to see, you know, Mo have a three primary assist night like he did tonight. And then two a couple few games ago, he’s the one scoring the the highlight reel goal or getting the two goals. Uh and then Jamie Ben, Jamie Ben has six points in seven games back from a collapsed lung surgery. That is that is wild. Three goals in four games, six points in seven games. That that’s production from a guy who I mean, we all looked at this the roster this summer and said, “Where’s that left wing depth? We have Jason Robertson and we have Blank.” If Jaime Ben can be it, even if he’s not a cons, you know, maybe they get a a higher player as a trade deadline or something and he’s not on the top line, doesn’t matter. If he’s able to produce offense at a somewhat consistent clip, this team is that much deeper and doesn’t just have to put, you know, four or five fourth liners in there and say they’re good role players, they’re good penalty killers. You got Colin Blackwell looking like an offensive weapon sometimes. You got Maverick Bourke going to the net and starting to score goals close to the net like Goldton said. Um, Roe Hint looks like a different player. Power play looks good. Penalty kill looks good. Then you get good goalending pretty much no matter which goalie you put in the net. I mean, we have to face the reality. You don’t want to get too high. As Golitin said, a win buys you 24 hours a piece and then you’re back at it again. Especially in this league where you’re scoring, you’re playing four and six pretty much every week. And they’re right back at it again next week. But we have to face the reality that this is a very, very good hockey team. And while Colorado, I haven’t watched them a ton, but it seems to be they’re going to fall back at some point to reality, this Dallas Stars team may be in reality right now, and it’s pretty exciting to watch. Sam, I’m going to follow up on something that you just said like when you mentioned Blackwell, Steel, I’m going to throw in Foxaw, Bour, or Becca, sorry, not Bourke because we know Bourc is there. Ritzovian what those other guys have done and the Rantinons and Wyatts and them guys they’ve put belief into these other guys that they can make skilled plays too and they should try skilled plays and and I believe that the coach is allowing them to make those kind of plays until it cost them a couple different times but the confidence from those guys is just kind of oozing throughout the rest of the team and and I think you know right now there’s a confidence about this group not just when they’re not playing well that they’re going to find a way to win the hockey game. But just the way that they’re playing the game in general, it’s not we’re not seeing that these so-called third and fourth line guys are getting to the red line and dumping it in, chasing it. Look at Blackwell tonight. He had a shift where he just about circumnavigated the zone and then he made a pass and I’m going, “Oh, just take the shot. You’ve done all the hard work.” Yeah. But hey, 96 does it, 53 does it 21. Yeah. I mean, I think it’s spreading through the group. It’s contagious. Orange, whatever the proper word would be. We talked all through the summer about uh it’s cho champing at the bit, not chomping, in case you’re wondering. Uh we talked all throughout the summer about how the personality and the the way Golitin coaches could be a big deal, right? Tell me this isn’t part of that. Tell me that the belief these players have in their ability, the understanding that they’re not out there, Kapo Biano is not out there thinking if I make a mistake, I’m going down to the AHL. I’m sitt I’m getting parked for the rest of the game. They have a little bit of wiggle room in the right ways because of the way this coaching staff coaches. And I think that’s huge because this team has a lot of skill, but if half your team is playing afraid to make a mistake, you’re not going to see that skill. And LS is exactly right. We’re seeing all of it from four lines and three D pairs right now. Gully Gully’s got a different personality. He’s got more of an outgoing personality and relatable to these guys. And not saying the last guy didn’t or anybody. I’m just saying Gully’s got this different kind of personality. You have comment on that, Sam? Nope. I don’t have anything to say. Okay. Someone else. I would just like to thank Tio for once again his generosity. Five gift memberships to the supporters club just offered. Did I get one? You did not, Sam. I apologize. Yeah. But thank you, Tio. Always great to gift those out. Let’s talk about some Black Friday sale going on here right now on DLLS. Sam, you got this? No, actually Sam’s still here. You could have him. Sam Sam, have you heard about the Black Friday deal? Get me some of them shirts. As London says, let’s Well, do we have a Do we have an update on those shirts? Are we not since the game started? We were down to Ben. Ben just sent me a thing about 15 minutes ago. We’re down to 22 shirts to go. I thought it was at 21 Black Friday sale. We’re going up to 90% off. Allds.com. You got to get there. Got to get the stuff. That’s what I’m saying right there. And you know what? Them the faceoff collection, they’re still green and black. Those two shirts are. So they haven’t changed. They still are. Yep. Yep. But we only got some them shirts right there. Can we pull up the Moose and Wyatt side by side? I mean, I think that I think so. I mean, we’re we’re talking to But about Butch and Sundance tonight. I’m going to Caner is thinking uh Jerblin over here is got to go side by side. We’re having a hard time with the button. My question for There we go. There’s the moose. There’s the moose. Where’s the 50? Well, just look at Owen. There’s the 53 bit one. This is This is the Madonna one. Oh, that’s what I said. Don’t look at one. There’s the There it is. There it is. That’s it. You should buy that one just for the hat-tick tonight. Sam, is there any chance you’ve ever seen Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid? No. Do you know the reference that Leds made about Mo and Wyatt as Butch and Sundance? I have heard it before, yes, on the on the TV. So, LSDs, what? Hold on. This is going to be No, you’re not going to ask me, are you? No, I’m going to ask you. Oh, good. Cuz I don’t know. No, they this was another retro night. They had the 99 jerseys that were great and they were playing a whole bunch of ‘9s music and you would know a lot of these. So, was Metallica playing? Uh there was some Metallica playing. There was uh there was a song uh Lithium by Nirvana. Sam said he didn’t recognize it. I was listening to Bush on the way in. Have you ever That one’s a good one. They were playing that. Have you ever heard of a band called Hansen? The Hamptons. Hansen. The three Hansen brothers. I’ve heard about it. It’s really expensive. Well, Sam, Unfortunately, Sam’s got Yeah, that kind of Hansen. Anyway. Oh, Hansen’s. Hansen. Like the Hansen brothers. Yes. Oh, I thought you said Hampton’s. No. No. Hansen. Oh, I’ve heard of the Hansens. I thought you said Hampton’s. I’m not the Hampton. Yeah. Very. Well, I was one of the Hansen brothers for the uh Was it this show? No. Oh, no. Was our team? We were the Hansen brothers. Yeah. Is that you’re talking about I love they got they there’s another group called Hansen. Oh the young kids. The See See it. He knows it. Bob Sam got it. They’re a bunch of young kids. Or they were not anymore. He He didn’t know. He didn’t know. Oh well. More of a new kids on the block guy. Yeah. You just used that as a Selena Ray drop. But I know what your style is. Okay Sam. Uh we got to do a breakdown. You’re welcome to stay if you want. If you want to wave and say goodbye, you’re welcome to do that as well. Well, you shouldn’t give him an option. Yeah, we know what he’s going to do. I love you guys. See you later. Bye. Yeah. See you in a week, Sam. All right. Don’t forget to get your Black Friday deals while they’re still going on. Cyber Monday is tomorrow. Hit us up. Help us out. We’re only 22 shirts away from reaching our goal from the DLS Stars hockey side of it. And then GM Ben is going to get us the other faceoff shirt. So, we’ll have both. That’s the hope. I don’t know. I I thought we were at 21. I don’t know how we got to 22. I think he’s just making up numbers now. Okay, let’s talk about the third period, Luds, because there are three more goals and two from Wyatt. Oh, no. 4-1 power play goal at the crease on a quote unquote rebound. Was it a rebound or was it a pass off the pad from Mico Randy? No, I actually I immediately said to you, I can’t believe he did pop, which means puck off pad. Um, but he was running out of room and I thought that’s where he’s trying to go with it. He’s got Robo coming down the backside. There was a defenseman. I The defenseman actually made a pretty good play. He stretches out. He gets his stick on stick and I I was looking at what again Renon does everything right. He’s trying to roll his wrist so that he can get that puck over to Robo cross crease and Robo was coming a little bit late there. And what happened was he’s not able. You can see him roll the wrist, but this the stick doesn’t turn. The blade doesn’t turn over. So that stick that hit him in the shaft stopped that from happening. Ultimately hits the goalender’s pad. And who’s there? Johnny on the spot, Wyatt Johnston. And makes a great move. I think a lot of guys would have just fired that puck. Again, the game slows down for special players. He it was on his backhand. He could have just tried to stuff it at the net. Yeah, he just pulls it to his forehand. But again, I believe he probably saw what kind of space was there in case there was a rebound. more than likely that there was a pass going to be to Robo and if it didn’t go on the net, he would come across and kind of buy his time there’d be a rebound. But puck comes to him right on his tape and good things happen when you go to the front of the net. Then we get to Jamie Ben goal and this is a ranting and special one and you know and Jamie kind of got lost behind the net a little bit. He took his time to come out but there was two players that had their sticks in lanes and Ratin spots them and you can see him looking. He’s trying to figure where can I get it to? And I think Jamie had a lot to do with that. Is he put himself in a good spot, which obviously was on the back door and open net, but if he’s too too far forward, one of those other sticks takes that passing. He’s too far back, the guy behind him does. And so I think Jamie had a little bit to do with that. But again, Rant and it’s a bullet, you know, it’s a rocket that comes across. Jamie knows just to let it hit my stick and let it car in. And he does. And that also assisted by Wyatt Johnson was Wyatt’s third point of the night. It was Mo’s third primary assist in a row. You always talk about natural hat-ticks who score three goals in a row. He had three straight first assists. That was it was something. Then just to add insult to injury and they didn’t even start this power play led. So it was Amio was called for tripping with about five minutes to go. This is after the rope hence Dylan Cousins nonsense. And they put the second unit out first as you said. Hey, you’re up five. because they went to commercial break, right? Yes. And I just said, “Give the other guys a chance.” Yeah. Which they did. And that was mainly because, you know, you’re up by four goals or whatever it may be at the time. Game’s getting kind of late. You know, you’re not going to lose this game. Give those guys a little time. Give them some time out there. Make them feel good about themselves. Koko got out there, was on the point. He looked looked good. And so anyways, but they just created space for the other guys to come out. And when the other guys came out, 53 seconds when they stepped on the ice, that’s all they needed. I mean, Wyatt’s third of the night, 16th. He’s tied with Robo for the most goals on the team. He has, as we mentioned earlier, 12 power play goals. Hints and Robertson the assist this time. Robo ends up with a three-point game, a goal and two assists. Mo had three assists and Wyatt had four. Three goals, one assist. Hatch rain down, what a night. Fourth career and hattick for Wyatt Johnston. I was on my phone texting at that moment. I was sending a text message saying hockey Canada, you got to take him, right? You’d be crazy not to have this kid on your team as I mean so hot. And it’s funny because he was in a little low. Remember he had that long stretch at the beginning of the season where he’s really good. Then he went three or four games without a point. Well, it doesn’t seem to be a problem at the moment, does it? Oh, and by the way, Billy Garren, you’d be crazy not to have number 21 not on your team, which How could Jason Robertson not be on the Olympic team after this? Right. We’re getting close to that time. The the deadline isn’t at the end of December. Aren’t you? Okay. Bad thought here. Uh oh. If you’re gymn Canada, I’m trying to talk. Well, yeah. Billy, Team USA, we know you’re going to take him, but don’t take him yet. Like, just get let’s get as close as we can. Yeah. Make him make him sweat a little. Then if I’m Billy, I’m like, “Wait a second. When do we play you guys next?” Yeah. Yeah. Know, let’s make that team. All right. Um, let’s do our super chats because we are quickly running out of time here. That’s too bad. And I know it’s been a fun show though. We’ve had a lot to talk about already tonight. Bing bong. Tanner’s got the bing bongs ready. We’ll start with I love Missy 1985 with a Bishel and a Johnston. I know the win and the Wyatt Hattie 12 power play goals was nice, but man, it still sickens me that we lost Bishel to injury. Talk about a a pirick victory. Yes. Well, let’s just hope it’s shorter than anything else. if it is something, you know, and again, I say that that high if it is a high ankle sprain or anything to do with that ankle, hopefully it’s, you know, if if anything, a week or less. But I, you know, the way the way he was, I don’t know. We’ll see. Even the fact that Gully said it might not be as serious as we initially thought that’s good news because if there was even, you got to remember they got equipment there. Yes. So, they can take a quick picture at least. That might be where he was. And so, if they’re fearing the worst and they don’t know, there’ll be more evaluation. Maybe the valuation tomorrow is like Sam said, maybe it’s an MRI. But if there’s some glimmer of optimism there, that’s a good thing because when he went down, we all went, “Oh boy, it’s going to be a while.” I mean, you remember the the Montreal game when Alex New Hook went feet first into the boards and he lost what, five or six months now because of it. Yeah. Well, that ended up being pretty bad. It was broken. Yeah. Yeah. Well, the good news is is that Coley was playing well before he went out. So if he’s the one to come in, I saw him in the press box tonight. Yeah. And he doesn’t want to be there. So I I I think he’s got some confidence going too and um so if that’s the case, they’ve been doing it. I mean they’ve been rotating defenseman back there. Yeah. The the Capo Biano Kolona duo has been very reliable. Of course you you already have Labouchkin. They played tonight. Kolichona could end up playing next to pro if Bitchell’s not available for the Ranger game. Yep. And you’ll get your righty lefties that you’re like Mhm. So, and well, let’s not let’s not write I’m not writing off. No, I’m just saying you have you have cover there. Yeah. And and aren’t they in a stretch of seven games in 12 days? Is this that I mean, I think they’re always in that stretch. I mean, I feel like it never ends, but they have they have a backtoback Tuesday, Wednesday in New York. Why would you say he’s going to miss a game? I mean, I’m not saying a half from now. It seems like if there’s any concern at all, why rush him if you have the other guys? I would say that. I mean the way he went out but yeah but maybe may maybe not and you know what maybe we’ll see Matt Duchain coming up you had to throw that in didn’t you enter Clarotus with a hasten 99 cup here the power play transformation after Steve spot’s departure is insane is he in win’s protection yet feel better bish hey in in spotter’s defense do we have spotter no we don’t never mind we don’t have Steve spot laser eyes in his defense I have no idea where Tanner would find that no In in spotter’s defense, 96 wasn’t here for a full year and he wasn’t completely integrated in what we had. 96 makes a big difference. And they had a very good power play under spot and Dbor. Yeah. But this here’s the interesting thing. What’s interesting is he’s actually still looking for spotter over there. I know last year, remember they they got off to a slow start on the power play and people were getting antsy with the the coaches about it after having a top five power play the year before, but then it heated up and they got better. This year there’s really even with the new pieces they got going pretty quick. Are these the same people that were getting antsy with golly after game seven? Firearm. Firearm. Okay. It was after seven games they were what? They were three. They can be antsy or they were 500 and I believe Luds after 500 I think they were outside of a playoff spot. Again it was only seven games but now they’re firmly entrenched in a playoff. All right let’s go to the next one. Bing bang. Uh yeah. Um, yingling associ. How about that? 888. What are you reading the the name? So, this one is a steel and an Atoner. Yingling should be the official. I was already at the beer part. You were way ahead. Yingling should be the official beer of the DLS Stars. Oh, Yingling, give us a call. That’s that that’s that truck that crew the the audio people crew when they every time they get on the road on the bus. You’re talking about the Yeah, I didn’t want to mention any names. I didn’t want to mention any names. I’m just saying lot of yingling on that bus. I can’t argue that one. Nope. Bing bang. Oh, Tim T. Farmer with a Lquist and a Johnston. Rock me like a I do like Rolling Rock though, too, since we’re talking about rock. Okay. Uh, rock me like a Wyatt Wheel. Rock me mama with the points to heal. You want to sing that one? There’s some something about a poet and if you didn’t know it remember that one a little rhyme something like that. There’s usually a limick involved in there in there. Yep. Bing bang. Burned oils with a Lquist and Year After the Cup. Gully has brought this all business nononsense attitude. Very akin to the greats like Ken Hitchcock. I think Luds will agree. I will. You know what? I don’t style though. I don’t Yeah, I don’t know if it’s all business. I think Gully’s got that personality, especially when things are going like this, that he can be a little looser. H H H H H H H H H H H H H H H H H H H H H always had his foot on the gas, you know, and and and his thing was always like, you know what, LS, it’s harder. It’s harder to get guys to do things after they win four or five games. When they lose, it’s easier to get them to change and to do what they’re supposed to. So, um maybe I think Gully’s got a different approach. He’s a little bit closer, you know, relative to to the players age and all that other kind of stuff than some other guys. And I I just think he’s got a different personality. He’s got the right personality for for this particular group. I don’t know. Is that our last? No, we’re still going. Oh, we got more. All right, we got to roll this one. Spitt and Chicklets with a dismmith at 99 Cup. You’re surprised they didn’t pull Mark Goar. They were down six to one, guys. Come on now. Oh, you mean lift him from the game? I mean, it was a close game until that point in the third. They probably took their lumps and just decided that’s it. Luds. Kayla doesn’t agree with your Yingling. Rolling Rock comparison. I’m not comparing them to each other. She said Yingling is a 10 of 10 beer. Rolling Rock is pee pe is feci. Pee pe. I thought she said feci. Oh, is she? Is it he or she? She. Kayla. Okay. Okay. Yeah. Kayla’s a dieh hard by the way. Kayla got her die hard package in the mail today. I I like the Rolling Rock beer. Okay, next one. One more. One more. And that is Craig’s Buttwig, our favorite with a Casey to Smith and a 99 Cupier. Worried about Bish. Hope he can return. Great game. Yeah. Um, we’re just about out of time, Luds, but you’ve got the Rangers and the Devils in a backto back. And then they’re back home Friday against San Jose and then we have the DLS Stars take over against the Penguins on Sunday. So, they’re going to get teams that are well, the Devils are really good, but it’s the second night of a backto-back. Not much travel there. The Rangers be an interesting twoame set for them. Yeah, a couple good goalies. I don’t know if Markham’s going to play, but I mean they they lost Devils lost one LA yesterday, last night, whatever it was. Uh Rangers are a little different team. You know, I think everybody thought the worst and uh they started out poorly. Uh they play on the road. It’s one thing when they play at home they’re getting a little bit better. So maybe they can sneak one out there for that first game. There you have it. And we’re done for Craig Lewig, Sam Nestler, and our illustrious producer, Tanner Rottman. I’m Owen Newkerk. Thank you to all the dieards. Don’t forget, grab those shirts. We are getting close to the end of our Black Friday Cyber Monday sale. We still need about 20 shirts or so. We haven’t gotten an update from Ben in a little bit. So, oh, wait. We’re down to 18, Luds. 19 2019 18. Help us out. We’re so close. How long? Uh, the end of the day tomorrow. That’s it. Yeah. Tomorrow. Yeah. Help us out, guys. 18 more. If Black Friday can be extended, I have to hurry up. Cyber Monday. Black or Monday? What’s it called? It’s tomorrow. Cyber Monday. Okay. But if we can extend the Friday thing, why can’t we extend this thing? You got to talk to Ben. Okay, Ben. We’ll see you on Tuesday night for Stars Rangers right here from the studio. See you everyone. We all s like the mayor.
