Had a lot of ugly plays that he immediately bounced back from. Lot of others QBs would have rolled over at halftime but he’s not afraid the keep slinging that bitch. If Olave catches that last ball the conversation is way different but I think he’s shown you a lot in these last 3 games. O-line is really letting him down but I think he’s making the best of it. Also has brought Olave back to life and Vele now looks like a worthwhile addition. That loss SUCKS but I’m hopeful. I think he’s shown a lot.

  3. At least way more start-able for another season than Rattler ever woulda been. Get another solid playmaker, and Oline around him and let him really prove himself

  5. He had a really good second half. Couldn’t overcome Fuaga/iOL bad play and the olave drop, but he gave us all the chances to win. I’m happy with that

  16. We drafted 2 Vespas and while they’re occasionally fun to watch, quit acting like either one is a Busa. They ain’t. Best you’re going to get is a Honda Big Red, they’ll give you thrills right before they kill you.

  18. Minus those 2picks I think it’s safe to say he is the qb. I’m not blind to the mistakes but we need Ruiz replacement so bad. Shough also gotta learn to audible too, and I see when the pocket collapse he already ducking his head. It’s a shame our qbs can hardly get time to throw dline man already in the backfield when we snap

  25. He’s definitely our guy for the rest of a year and in a rebuild that’s all that’s guaranteed. That said he’s obviously got the talent to be great

  28. Bro he ain’t the guy played a bit better in the second half but Vele bailed him out on a few of those throws bad ball placement ran into a couple sacks . I like that he keeps eyes down field when he scrambles but he’s got accuracy issues and he’s already 26 I don’t understand why yall think he’s going to get so much better

  30. I liked what I saw from him a lot. He bailed out of a few clean pockets but aside from that he showed a lot of promise. Gotta give him some more reps before i declare the Saints don’t need to look for a qb in the offseason.

  31. I don’t hate what I’m seeing. He doesn’t fold or lose focus even when the pressure comes in. He waits until he is all the way down to give up on making a play. He has pretty decent accuracy. He throws under coverage a little bit and he struggles in the red zone, which obviously is the whole game – to get points. But it’s not detrimental. He was in college for forever, but he is still a rookie. I gotta give the guy credit for stepping up more each week and finding his way. He wants to be a leader. I’ll say this, I definitely didn’t leave today feeling embarrassed of the way we played. I do feel optimistic.

  33. The pick on the 2 point conversion as well as the fumble should be noted, didn’t like a couple of his sacks, also I thought Vele made some great catches. Shough’s best plays were awesome though. Really hope they don’t go QB 1st round, team needs so many other pieces to succeed

  35. I like what I saw in Shough. He threw Olave a dime. Olave has got to catch that. He wants to be the guy he needs to BE the guy. He catches that we likely win.

  36. I mean his looking good with a horrible Oline, 1 truly good WR, a 3rd string RB, and a TE that’s better at making difficult catches than wide open ones.

    I think if we can draft a big WR with a wide catch radius, sign a vet who can is exceptional and running a few different routes, and beef up the Oline a tad, we can be a 15th ranked offense behind Shough.

    We need to start letting him lead the offense into the end zone tho. Instead of trying all these Taysom tricks. Let the man ball.
