Patriots News Links Catchup – Pats-Giants matchups, Keys to victory

  1. Destroy the Giants in prime time and have every talk show forced to talk about the clear and obvious front runner while we rest in the BYE for 2 weeks atop the leaderboard

  2. My 18 month old son regularly visits the down syndrome clinic @ Boston Childrens Hospital and they offered us free tickets to the game tonight.

I haven’t been to a football game in probably 20 years (and coincidentally it was a Giants game since I used to live in NJ).

Any suggestions? Will they allow us to bring milk bottles into the stadium? I’m assuming my son will sleep through most of the game since it’s around his bed time.

I know it’s going to be very cold and my wife is a bit nervous about bringing him now.

  3. Pretty tough matchup tonight in my opinion. Final prediction is 27 – 23 Pats but I wouldn’t be suprised if we end up losing this. I think the Giants are better in the trenches with our recent losses of Will and Milton.

  4. Going to my first game at Gillette tonight. Driving down from Boston – planning to be there for 5:30. Given it’s MNF (opposed to a Sunday 1pm game), wasn’t sure if 3ish hours is early enough to get there for tailgating? I have looked at plenty of other threads but haven’t seen much in regards to primetime night games timing, etc.

We were also planning to park in the general lots across route 1; would we be that much better off parking offsite at a private lot north of the stadium? If so, any recs there that are still good for tailgating and not a several mile walk postgame? Would really rather not spend 2+ hours getting out of the lot, but I know there’s only so much we can do haha.

  5. Monday night football sucks. I cant think about anything but the game at work. Tomorrow Im going to be exhausted.
