Anthony Davis Trade UPDATE…-Mark Cuban Is READY…| Dallas Mavericks News
We have an Anthony Davis trade update that does corroborate with similar reports over the last few weeks, which shows that we may have just found Anthony Davis’s new home. The Dallas Mavericks are six and 15 to start the season. And even though they did get a big win against the Clippers just the other night on the second half of a back-to-back, one thing that is very odd about this team is that even though we are six and 15, even though we have been dealing with injuries and guys in out the lineup, we still have one of the best defenses in the entire NBA without our at least one of our best players being available. And a lot of Mavericks fans have expressed their concern that they’re kind of disappointed with how our bigs been playing this season. Anthony Davis, who can’t stay healthy, but when he is healthy, hasn’t really given us any superstar performances. Daniel Gafford as well as Derrick Lively, both who can’t seem to stay healthy, also really haven’t been shocking anybody. But even with all that being said, the Dallas Mavericks are still a very good defensive team, which does prove that they could benefit from trading away Anthony Davis, someone who really isn’t contributing to this top tier defense, but could bring us back some other pieces to help us out where we seem to fall short. So, in this video, we’re going to take a look at the most recent updates surrounding Anthony Davis. Who is interested in him? Why would they want him? And what should we look to get in return? But how’s it going everybody? My name is Marcel Martin. This is Mavericks Digest, bringing you the latest news on everything Mavericks related. And before we get started with today’s video, we are currently sitting at 23,295 subscribers. You know, we’re trying to get to 25K. So, if you want to be up to date on everything Mavericks related from our live streams, watch alongs, news vids, trade updates, injury updates, everything else in between, make sure you subscribe so you don’t miss out on a single thing that we do. But the Dallas Mavericks, as we all know by now, being six and 15, we’ve had a very rough start to the season. Our offense is non-existent. Besides a few games that things have looked fairly better, I I would also argue over the last several games, things are starting to get better for the Dallas Mavericks on the offensive end. We just had a back-to-back series in LA where we played the Lakers which for the most part we stayed fairly competitive. Things looked good but it fell apart at the end. And then against the Clippers where we were in that game the entire time and then in the clutch thanks to Cooper Flag leading the way and some very clutch threes from Klay Thompson. I got to give him his props. The Dallas Mavericks were able to get their sixth win of the season. But with all of that being said, the Dallas Mavericks still have one of the worst offenses in the NBA while also having one of the best defenses, which makes things very, very weird for this Dallas Mavericks team. As defense wins championships, but offense will win you games. But with the Dallas Mavericks firing Nico Harrison a few weeks ago and everything kind of being up in limbo right now, we’ve been getting a lot of reports over the last several weeks about Anthony Davis, about Mark Cuban, and the direction of this team. And the most recent report that we got prior to today was from Tim McMahon on Anthony Davis and Kyrie by saying trading AD is a real possibility and I would even say likelihood this season. Trading Kyrie is not something that’s on the Mavericks priority list or it’s just straight up not something that they’re interested in doing right now. And we talked about it in a previous video about how Kyrie Irving and Cooper Flag are seen as the future of this team, which is promising that that can definitely work, but it’s also leading to more questions as Kyrie Irving and Cooper Flag being on opposite ends of career spectrums. One being a rookie and one being a veteran doesn’t really align with both timelines. Cooper Flag does need time to develop and get used to the NBA where Kyrie just needs to get healthy and then he’s ready to go back to the finals. But regardless of the direction that the Dallas Mavericks take, it doesn’t necessarily mean they need to blow it up right now. Although a lot of Mavericks fans, myself included, would love to see a rebuild, but there’s still ways to salvage what little you currently have to try to pivot for next season. And that comes with today’s update. As we did get an update that the Chicago Bulls have had internal discussions about Anthony Davis per ESPN, saying the Bulls are prepared to add to their young core and believe Davis could help the team’s poorest rim protection and defensive interior. And one of the things I mentioned is how the Dallas Mavericks have the second best defense in the NBA despite Anthony Davis missing the majority of the season. But we do know again all due respect to Anthony Davis when he is healthy and available. He is a defensive anchor. He is a good defender. He is a good player overall. The only question is his health. Now what’s very interesting about the Chicago Bulls, other than the fact that Andy Davis is from Chicago, which cool, you get to go home, is the fact that the Chicago Bulls start off the season 5-0. They were looking amazing. But since then, they’re about four and nine. They’ve been losing games. Things are starting to fall apart. A lot of their pitfalls from the last few seasons are starting to pick back up as Vousvich isn’t really that much of a rim protector. They are lacking in defense and rim protection. We are lacking in scoring and shooting. So, a little swap of players could possibly get the job done where the Dallas Mavericks get to get rid of a pretty big contract to Anthony Davis, get a few key players back that can help us for the future, maybe a few picks as well to really make sure our future is set in stone. The Dallas Mavericks can go many different directions with Anthony Davis if they choose to trade him. And the Chicago Bulls, which really, if we’re being honest, in the past, the Chicago Bulls have not been a smart team when it comes to drafting players or trading players, but we could benefit from them not being that smart at all. If we take a look at this right here, I’m all over the place. To bring it into context of the report, Chicago owns its own first round draft picks for the next seven years. an additional 2026 top 14 pick, I’m sorry, protected first from Portland. The Bulls can trade up to five first and five second round picks and could have close to $70 million in cap room next off seasonason. The Bulls have had internal discussions about how to proceed, including conversations about Dallas Maverick star Anthony Davis. Sources told ESPN whom they believe could help the team’s poorest rim protection and defensive interior. Like I said, they’ve got no defense. Vousvich, unfortunately, is not the rim protector they thought he is. He’s definitely the type of big to help space the floor. He’s a stretch big if we’re being honest. And the reason why I in all seriousness would not be upset with getting Nicole Vousvich is that our defense is fine. I’m not saying get rid of uh Daniel Gaffford or Derrick Lavy as well. But if you move Anthony Davis, you keep Derrick Lively and Daniel Gaffford, you could play both of them alongside Vousvich who could help space the floor, add a little bit of three-point shooting, who can also get some rebounds as well. I’m not too mad at that. And a few other salary filler players that you get. Obviously, I would like Kobe White. Definitely got to get Kobe White in that deal, which would definitely help us out at the point guard position until Kyrie Irving returns. Shout out to Ryan Nimhard as as well as Brandon Williams and De’Angelo Russell. All of our guards, including Naji Marshall, have all done a good job so far. But adding someone like Kobe White could definitely make things better for the Dallas Mavericks. And if we could in some way, shape, or form finesse Kevin Herder from the Bulls, that would also add three-point shooting, which would really round out this Dallas Mavericks team. Really make it the team that we thought we had going into the season. But a few more things we got to take a look at is this right here. The Chicago Bulls are trying to follow the Indiana Pacers formula and believe they have their Tyresese Hallebertton in Josh Giddy and they’re now searching for their Pascal Seakkum. They have Hallebertton who is an all-star and they have Seakkum. If Giddy can develop into an all-star and be what Harley was, when do we pull the trigger to get our Seakum? Well, if this right here is not a clear indicator that the Bulls are ready to be finessed out of Kobe White and any other young players for Anthony Davis, then this is it right here. Oh, you think that Josh Giddy is your Tyrese Hallebertton? Then I got the Pascal Siakum for you and his name is Anthony Davis. You want You want Caleb Martin, too? He provides excellent defense. Nico Harrison himself said defe wins championship. And I’m willing to give you the piece that he traded Quinton Grimes for for whatever we can get from the Bulls. I mean, I think that that’s the route that the Dallas Mavericks have to take. Whether it be Chicago or any other team, we definitely need to be able to sell these players to anybody. And that starts with players getting healthy and playing. Anthony Davis did play against the Lakers but did not play against the Clippers obviously in this injury management we’re not playing guys in back-to-back games especially when they’re coming back from injury but in these upcoming games in the game against the Denver Nuggets tonight where Andy Davis is probable if he does play and has a good performance that only raises his trade value across the league which the Dallas Mavericks could definitely benefit could definitely benefit from and a few other things that we’re definitely going to take a look at is this right here is that D’Angelo Russell has been a DNP coach’s decision in the last two Mavericks game Well, if we did just get the news that Anthony Davis is being considered by the Chicago Bulls, then maybe we add D’Angelo Russell. We do know and we’ve gotten reports that the Dallas Mavericks have thought about training D’Angel Russell. He his name has been floating around. So maybe we package him up and Anthony Davis go to Chicago. Why would the Bulls want D’Angel Russell? Well, why did the Los Angeles Lakers want Maxi Kleba and Marke Morris? You you answer that for me. A lot of crazy things have crazier things have happened in the NBA, but it is to be believed that if D’Angel Russell, who just got two coach decision DMPS, which there has been no real update on an injury, then well, maybe he is getting traded soon. We also know that Klay Thompson as well has been a name that’s been floating around all season long as another player that could potent could potentially be traded. But with how he’s been playing lately, the Dallas Mavericks may benefit from just keeping Klay off the bench for us and just benefit from those threes. And if the threes aren’t falling, cool, he’s off the bench anyways now. He’s a starter. But the final thing I want to show you guys, this right here is a trade, a mock trade by All Things Math. Shout out to All Things Maths on Twitter. Make sure you follow him. He does great content over there. He tweeted this out actually last night before any of this updates today saying 80 to Chicago may have the most smoke around it. Two trade ideas today. Number one, Chicago gets Anthony Davis and the Dallas Mavericks get Vousvich Herder White the 2027 first in the 2028 swap. Number two, Chicago gets Anthony Davis and Dallas gets Vousvich Aoro Collins and two unprotected first and one second. The reason why I’m gravitating towards number one is that obviously both trades you get Vousvich, which I think that would be the ideal swap, but you also get Herder and as well as Kobe White. Herder provides good three-point shooting. Kobe White is a good point guard. We get where we get exactly what it is that we’re looking for and then we get a 2027 first round pick and then we swap our 2028. Totally fine with that. The second one, the only thing that really sticks out to me because I’m not a really big fan of a Coral or Collins, but the two unprotected first and one second, that will help us in the future. One of the big issues that the Dallas Mavericks team has is that they have no real draft capital. But if you go with option number two, you get that draft capital back. But I’d argue option one, you get service of players right now. But let me know what you think in the comments section down below. Do you think that Dan, I’m sorry, Anthony Davis to Chicago is something that could really happen? Which of those trade packages would you be interested in? Or do you think that we should just keep it how it is now and just trust what we got going on? Let me know what you think in the comments section down below. We could have a conversation about it. But that’s all I got for you guys today. Thank you for watching the video. Make sure to check out our Twitter and Discord links in the description below. And as always, y’all take care. Drink water. Peace.

Trust what y’all have. Drink water peace! ✌🏾
Send Ad to Chicago is a great move also send dlo
All things considered, just let AD and Kyrie come back, and see how this works. Maybe they go on a bit of a winning streak after they've had time to gel.
Pretty sure in a similar report it's stated Coby White along with matas and giddey are seen as the young core. Personally I would take whatever package gives the most picks. They don't need/want good players this year. Also a future white/Kyrie back court sounds awful. Especially having to extend white at 30+ mil/yr
I’m glad Cuban is back to the team fuck nico
Unless Nico just became GM of the Bulls they’re not doing either of these trades
I think the problem for the Mavs is AD's contract, his durability and the fact that the rest of the league perceives Mavs really want to move off him. Not a position of strength for the Mavs.
Lakers didn't want Maxi or Kief. That was to make the money work and allow Mavs to dump salary and Rob was OK with it, because Lakers kept AR.
Anthony Davis isn't going nowhere all these rumors for whatever reason
How di I tell these Day to Davis supporters in the comments that, we are not winning crap lil bro😭 Cryknee and Steetclothes are never going to get healthy together😭😭
Tired of all these crybabies constantly whining about a trade
No teams want to pay AD that kind of money. Dallas wants to trade him but nobody wants him. Nico should have gotten AR in that trade. What a dummy.
lol why would the bulls screw up there team lol
If the Bum Mavericks give up another Star Player like AD and trade him instead of conpeting (like the KP trade, Luka trade and Brunson disaster even the Seth Curry trade) i quit this Poverty Franchise they just gift stars to other teams and have NOTHING (Championships) to show for SMH
They said before that they don't plan on trading AD
I’m tired of playing the what if with Davis. I already know once we trade him he will all of the sudden be healthy for whatever team he goes to. But I’m over it. Please trade him ASAP 🎉🎉🎉
Why do WE Talk mavs Like Shit? Nico did a terrible Job when He decided mavs Need no ballhandlers and primary playmakers. Give them Kyrie, lively, AD and they will be great. AD has Higher value than anything you can trade him For. One healthy Playoff Run of him is better than 10 years any Not top 50 Player.
And If they stay Bad this season because they do Not trade For a good Guards next to Kyrie and For the time Till He is Back mavs have another good prospects in their roster. Lively will be Not super expensive. Flagg and Pick 2026 are still in Rookie contracts when Davis and Kyrie contracts end. Get Kyrie Back even cheaper and let Davis walk (lively Flagg pj will be an Elite frontcourt at this time For Low Money). At this point you have Kyrie, Pick 2026, pj, Flagg, lively and should have Money For a max contract For a free Agent 2028. Guard or Wing would both Work and must be decided when you know how good pj and the Pick 2026 are. If there is now good free agent, use Davis plus x For Sign and trade. Mavs are a good Playoff Team when healthy right now and have a perfect Situation for the Future except Missing picks later on
could you stop having kyrie in your trades! if he would like to stay, he would be the best to teach cooper handling and finishing at the rim!
Top one and trade Klay for more Draft capital
Men I wish we could get Kon Kanueppel to Dallas.
We'll keep Kyrie…AD I don't know ..DLo gotta go…
The only way AD gets traded is if he plays and performs well. If in preforms well then it probably hurts Mavs tank chances.
If the Mavs can't tank then they might as well try and see what noise if any they can make. We can't go back in time and rebuilds aren't guaranteed. I think it's better for coop to play as many meaningful games as possible.
Is Kevin Durant & Steven Adams on the same timeline as A.Thompson? You guys act like young star players means you need to trade all veterans 😂
Yeah trade him but problem is that he has no value right now. Many reports say Bulls want him in exchange for Coby White and other salary dumps but other reports say they look at White, Giddy, and Matas as their young core they want to build around so nothing is concrete and every report is just in the air now.
Honestly it wouldn't make sense for the Bulls to trade for AD as his age doesn't correspond with said young core with other options like Giannis, Jaren Jackson Jr., Lauri Markenen, Bam Adebayo, etc could be made available after this season. They are playing with house money at this point as no one expected the Bulls to do this good this season with contracts on the roster still expiring.
If AD wants to stay then keep him if he doesn't then trade him when you FIRST build his value back up.
Dont trade Klay
