[Collier] ‘When do we get our Siakam?’: What to make of the Bulls’ uneven early season

  1. >“Chicago still sees Giddey, Coby White and Matas Buzelis as its future core, team sources said”

They’re really gonna run it back again

  2. There is no Siakam because we don’t have a haliburton and we don’t have a Rick Carlisle.

Indiana is just a more competently run franchise, we have let someone who has literally had the same resulting season play out 3 times in a row continue to run the show and people are surprised it’s gonna happen again.

  3. how about instead of making a move for “our Siakam,” we prioritize our draft position and try to get our Boozer, Peterson, Dybantsa, or Wilson????

If AK gives up draft picks at the deadline in a win-now move we’re genuinely hopeless

  4. Vuc Coby and Pat gotta go. They feel like the last of the old gaurd. We know what they can do and it’s just not it. They’ve all had years to show us they can play winning basketball and there’s only been a few small glimpses of that.

  5. Faster pace does not equate to better offense. If it were that simple then everybody would do it. The Bulls have been a consistently mid to bad offensive team throughout the AKME regime:

    2020-21: 111.1 (19th)

    2021-22: 113.2 (13th)

    2022-23: 113.1 (24th)

    2023-24: 114.9 (19th)

    2024-25: 114.1 (20th)

    2025-26: 115.0 (20th)

Also, and this is really depressing, the Bulls have not had a top 10 rated offense since before Derrick Rose tore his ACL.

  6. Lol, this sounds like another cope piece trying to pretend the Bulls have any long term strategy apart from “not sucking”.

Indiana has been more competently run for a long time, they have retooled repeatedly and have made honest attempts to make playoff runs, instead of being content with mediocrity like this franchise

  7. The thing is, when we traded for Siakam we were still playing well, sitting in Top 6 with a winning record.

  8. CHI get: Anthony Davis and Caleb Martin

DAL get: Nikola Vucevic, Kevin Huerter, Zach Collins, and a 1st

Josh Giddey / Tre Jones / Jevon Carter

Coby White / Ayo Dosunmu / Dalen Terry

Matas Buzelis / Isaac Okoro / Julian Phillips / Caleb Martin

Anthony Davis / Patrick Williams / Noa Essengue

    Jalen Smith / Lachlan Olbrich
