My stance on the trade

  1. The trade is perfectly fine, got JPJ and Watts out of it. You can’t be mad when you get that.

  2. It was a really good trade. Any luck has risks so having Pearce contribute already makes it a success. Unfortunately it’s the type of trade you want to make when you’re on the cusp of being a contender.

  3. Dumb take not only did we give up top 10 pick for a guy who has 5 sacks, we could have taken Watts in 2nd and probably would have. We’ve also taken up 2 players in first of same draft that play the same position so will have to resign them at the same time meaning we will have to invest significant cap resources into pass rusher in one off season. It’s bad team building.

  4. Maybe it was a good idea to get Pearce and maybe it wasn’t but I’ll just be honest, I’m so fucking sick of defending this organization’s decisions. They clearly haven’t paid off before so I’m not going to rush to defend them now.

  5. Worst part of the trade is allowing a pass rusher to wear #27 looks busted as hell being on the edge.

  6. We got Pearce and Watts out of the trade. I’m beyond happy with it. Clean house with the coaching staff except Ulbrich and whoever he wants to retain. Bring in a couple speedy vet WRs, find a big body at DT, and draft a OT with our second rounder while also signing a starting caliber one. 3rd, 4th , and 5th picks should be LBs. Dealers choice with the rest. That’s a solid roster if Penix is healthy in time to start the season.

  7. Please remember Jamaal Anderson was drafted #8 overall. Fuck the picks if the player is a bust.

  8. It was a good trade because it looks like we got 2 good starters at worst. Just hate it’s going to go to the Rams who don’t need anymore help lol. But I’d do it again I think

  9. Due to the development of JPJ so far once again wipe my ass with those picks I’m rolling with JPJ we move

  10. I wont lie and say I’m not happy with JPJ. I also wont lie and say its completely settled or that the thinking behind the trade was sound.

    He’s still fun tho
