What Josh Allen & the Bills Showed in Their Week 13 Steelers Beatdown | The Rich Eisen Show

As for the Bills, hey, they proved what the Steelers couldn’t do, which is win in different ways. The Steelers are struggling to find the way to win right now consistently. The Bills are inconsistent where one week Josh Allen is accounting for six touchdowns and the next week he’s being sacked eight times which is how they came into this game against the Steelers having lost to the Texans after beating the Bucks after losing to the Dolphins after beating the Chiefs. Who is this team? The issue is that but the guy on the screen and the other 53 as Rogers is pointing out they got to pull together for the other team that lost though. This team can pull it together from their 53 over. I mean, I thought with both tackles down going into Pittsburgh with TJ Watt and the rest of that defensive front, they were going to get overran after being sacked eight times. And instead, you know how many times Allen was sacked yesterday? Zero. Do you know how many times uh James Cook kept running, ripping a one off on him, and then Ray Davis and then Ty Johnson and then Josh Allen? You know, let’s go get Brandon Cooks and start using him. Let’s get Gabe Davis and start using him. Uh I mean it it’s unbelievable how they pull it together. The idea in the offseason that they did not want to pay James Cook seems so stupid now. He is only 54 yards behind Jonathan Taylor as the league leader in the NFL. We need to start talking about James Cook on this level. Well, they did pay him at the end of the day. They did. And thank goodness they did do that. But defensively and one week Josh Allen will take it all on his shoulders. The next week James Cook will take it on his shoulders. The next week another guy on defense can make some plays. Joey Bosa turned the game. Turned the game. So the Bills are doing it in a way that the Steelers could not. And that’s why they’re an eight- win team rooting for the Giants tonight to keep this division alive. Next up for them is Joe Burrow and the Bengals. Oh my god, what a week 14 game that is for both teams cuz yes, the Bengals are still in it. We’ll talk about that later on. But I I have the Bills are now a new shrug emoji team. I I don’t know, man. Yeah, they go home, they take care of business against the Bengals. Or maybe they don’t. That’s the next one with a dip. And then they show up to New England. And if they lose that the division that they’ve been roosting on for half a decade, that’s a wrap. And then they have two winnable games against Cleveland and home for the Jets and then one against the Philadelphia Eagles who are the shrug emoji team right now at 8 and four themselves in the NFC. But they’re still in it unlike what feels like the Steelers. Hey, you made it all the way to the end. Thanks for that. 1. The season is just starting. And remember it's not where you start, it's where you finish. The Bills are about to run the table. There's not a team they can't beat. Sometimes it takes a spell to figure out who you are.

The Houston Buffalo game might have been the ugliest Bills game I've ever seen. Here's the difference with Pittsburgh whom I was greatly disappointed by. Buffalo as ugly as that loss was, they didn't quit. They just sucked! I've never seen a Steelers team quit, until yesterday. They need an entire makeover. A new GM a new head coach, and Aaron Rodgers who I greatly admire, needs to go enjoy the rest of his life in retirement. He looked 50 years old out there yesterday.

  2. The way they've been this year, they'll probably mop the floor with the Pats in New England, woop the Eagles, then lose to the Jets.

  3. The cardiac Bills gotta run the table. "false start" "blocking nobody" Dawkins is over rated. These guys on the roster are professionals regardless of the paycheck level. You don't got to be a Super star just do what your paid to do.

  4. Its been this way for years. Staple of the McDermott era. The Buffalo Bills can beat any team in football. Also can lose to any team in football it’s infuriating.

  5. This is James Cook’s team
    Allen is a liability

Allen has had a top 4 defense FIVE times along with an elite WR and a top 8 o line and couldn’t do anything with it
Bills win when Cook is the focal point

  6. maybe the Bills are inconsistent but this week was weather-related. Both QBs had a hard time throwing. Fortunately we can rely on our run game.

  7. Since 2018 Buffalo has always gone 3-1 against their AFC/NFC divisions for the year. NFC is finished 3-1 with a loss to the falcons. AFC North 2-0 with bengals and browns to go 😬

  8. The Bills do not have an outside threat at WR that challenges defenses to account for that specific player. Until they prove they can consistently rely on the suspect passing game when teams sell out to defend the run, we all can only really guess… and hope. Go Bills!

  9. The Bills NEVER said they didn’t want to pay Cook. They said they weren’t going to pay him 15 million a year, that’s what Cook wanted. They paid him 11.5 million. Cook is great!! He got paid what both parties agreed was fair.
