We lose tonight there’s no hope in sight
My weekly post that the Sixers should buy Embiid out. He’s too distracting they need to move on and focus on the PLAYERS.
So this season is a quarter over and the Vet min t is $3,303,771.00 so have Embiid give back 2.4m this year then even so it goes up every year and he’s signed for 3 more seasons after this one just call it an even 10m
So a fair buyout would be for Embiid to give back 12.4m of the 200m more the Sixers owe him. It’s an easy bet on himself to get paid more than the vet min in his new deals.
At least we’re not the clippers
GM winners, we got this!
At some point this has to go from “oh isn’t it fun that Maxey is great and VJ is good!” to a very simple idea that these guys need to get on the floor and play realistic minutes.
If we are going to roster Eric Gordon and Kyle Lowry then they need to be able to play 4 fucking minutes so that Maxey isn’t hurt 40 games into the year because he’s already played a full season of minutes.
We are the fucking sixers… we knew injuries would be wild and crazy and annoying and nagging and mysterious… it doesn’t mean Maxey and the young guys should have to soldier on at 40+ a game.
