The Timberwolves are SCARY…AGAIN!!
The Minnesota Timberwolves are terrifying for the rest of the NBA. Again, after a rough start to the season where Anthony Edwards missed time, they didn’t beat a team over 500 for the first month. They’ve now beat back-to-back teams over 500. They’ve come back from back-to- back double-digit deficits. And they’re shooting the ball at a 39% clip from three, which is good enough for fourth in the league. Oh, by the way, Joyce Randall and Jaden McDaniels are playing the best basketball of their career, as is Anthony Edwards. And at just 24, he has began taking that step this year as the best Americanb born basketball player on the planet. And it looks like another leap year for Anthony Edwards because his full game has become unleashed. He’s averaging 29 a game with four and a half rebounds, four assists, and he’s doing that in just 33 minutes a game, shooting 49% from the field and 41% from three on just under nine attempts a game. His catch and shoot numbers are off the charts this year. If they can get him more attempts from the catch and shoot, he would be nasty. 53% is what he is shooting right now off the catch from beyond the arc. And he’s also nearly unstoppable in the half court because if you play up, he’s gonna go by. If you play back, he’s going to shoot over you right here. He’s going to curl this, get straight downhill, and just go through Kell Johnson’s chest in route to the layup. And then this is just filthy. A little half spin here to the other shoulder. And then he sees the help coming from Carter Bryant, so he’s going to step it back and knock down a mid-range fadeaway over De’aran Fox. That is filthy right there. Then Sohan, one of the Spurs best defenders, just takes him 101 straight to the rack. Finished with 32 points, six assists, three boards, did have seven turnovers in 36 minutes on 13 of 18 shooting from the field and four of six from beyond the arc. Love or hate and you have to admit that for a 24 year old, he’s become remarkably efficient. And over his last five games, he’s been nothing short of dominant. If you look at that stat line and look at the efficiency, 59% shooting from the field, 49% from three. Look at how he deals with doubles. Right here, he gives it up early, ends up getting it back, trusting his teammates. Then right here, he just completely splits it and then faces a third defender at the rim and goes back. Like right here, it looks like he’s going to have to swing it back to Nas. But instead, he splits it with a nice behind the back dribble and then gets to the reverse layup, hanging longer than Fox can. Now he’s going to come off this pick and roll, draw it out as far as he can, snake it against Luke Cornet, and then split the defense of Cornet and Fox, and draw the foul on the way to the rim. Per 36, Anthony Edwards is averaging 32 a night with five rebounds, 4.2 assist, and so far this year, he’s averaging 3.5 assists per game. This pass right there to Julius Randle. The playmaking has been a bit disappointing so far, but he’s just been a monster in the half court when it comes to scoring that nobody really cares. He’s really playing the true shooting guard, letting Devin Chenzo play that point guard spot. Then we’ve got Julius Randle who like I said is playing without a doubt the best basketball of his career. 2212 and six last night in 36 minutes. And yeah, you read that right. That was 12 assists on nine of 15 shooting from the field. Two of five from beyond the ark. gets the gimme here to get things started. And then I love what Chris Chris Finch was doing, drawing sets up to get him the ball in space, letting him play by himself off of Anthony Edwards because he is very capable of propping up an offense in the half court for a little while. So he’s coming off the flare here, attacking Luke Cornet, keeps Champany on his hip, gets to his spot, and knocks down the tough lefty fadeaway. Easy. And then he’s gonna get matched up here with Luke Cornet 101 in the mid post area coming off the pick and roll with Dante Danchenzo. Little jab steps. All he’s going to need one dribble step back knockdown over Cornet. And then the three-point shooting. It has been really solid this year. I mean, 36% on the year on 5.2 attempts. You will take that all day long if you can get it from Julius Randle. Last year, not a terrible three-point shooter, but not great by any means. 34% on 4.6 six attempts. But what has really blown me away this year has been the passing. I mean, he had 12 assists last night, like we said, the big to big passing here to Go Bear. He’s averaging 23 a game with seven and a half rebounds and six assists on the year. He’s averaging almost double the amount of assists Anthony Edwards shooting 50% from the field. And as we talked about the three-point percentage, this is just a really crisp read right here. is helping the Devanchzo’s own one from three, but he’s going to attract the double team as soon as Dylan Harper steps up. He’s going to zip it to the corner. That’s a heck of a pass, too. Did you see that? Right in to the shooters lap and he gets it to go. And then he finds Devenzo right here. One-on-one with Harrison Barnes. Spin move, pump fake. Look at the amount of attention that he draws. All five sets of eyes. Devenzo slips back door and he gets it to him. And then finally here, drawing the double of Cornet and hitting McDaniels for the three. If you’ve made it this far in the video, hit the like button, hit that subscribe button, because as you can see, 93% of the people that watch these videos are not subscribed. So, if that’s you, let’s go ahead and fix that. And let’s talk about Jane McDaniels because I love what Chris Finch did here, getting him involved early. You can’t help off Ant or Danchenzo given what they’ve been shooting from three this year. You can’t really help off the passer in Julius Randall. And you go right to McDaniels, get him heated up early. Then he gets the stop and the score the other way later in this game. He he’s averaging a career-high 15 and a half points a game, 4.8 rebounds, 2.4 assists, shooting 52% from the field and 46% from three on three and a half attempts per game. Like I said, careerh highs across the board. I know it’s only a 19 game sample size, but we talked about how good the Wolves are when he scores. They’re six and two so far this year when he scores 15 or more points. And that’s a trend I expect to continue. The only two they lost were when Anthony Edwards was out. He’s shooting 46% from three on 3.5 attempts. That’s a trend that if it continues, he’s going to be well worth that price tag they have him at and probably a lot more. Dante Devenzo, another guy here who is shooting the blood out of the ball. 18 points or last night he had 18 points, excuse me, five rebounds, four assists, seven of 14 shooting from the field, four of nine from beyond the ark. And just like with McDaniels, he’s shooting a career-high 40% from three on eight attempts. Now, he has done it before. It is tied for his careerhigh. Nonetheless, 40% is his careerhigh. And Denzo was shooting that this year. We were wrong about Denzo because last year when he came in, he got off to a slow start, but now they’re drawing upsets for him with Mike Connley getting into an action here and he’s just going to come get it and knock down the three ball. He got off to a slow start last year. I think it’s because of the trade and everything. But this year, after a full year under his belt, 14 and a half a game with four boards, shooting 43% from the field and 40% from three on eight attempts a night. The dude is a hooper. Then, you know, they even run sets for him going off the dribble, not just off the catch and shoot where he gets downhill. His field goal percentage, I think, is a little bit tanked because of how heavy and his shot diet the three-pointer is, but still, I mean, great year for Devincenzo. Then you have Nas Reed. I love it when they get him in the short role here because now you got Nas, a great playmaker for a big attacking a threeon four look where there’s only three defenders for four offensive players. He’s averaging 13 a game with six rebounds, shooting 46% from the field and 37% from three. A nice look here to get him going downhill and finishing at the rim. And then out in transition, the ball finds him and he knocks it down to put the Wolves up four with 9 minutes left. And that was the beginning of the run that kind of put him ahead. Then Mike Connley, and the stats don’t back it up. He’s only playing 20 minutes a game, but this dude is very important for the Minnesota Timberwolves. And if you watch the games, you understand that statement, especially when he’s shooting 43% from three on three attempts. I was advocating for them to get rid of him in the offseason. Um, good thing they’re smarter than me. Now, Rudy Goar, another guy here that I was thinking maybe you go ahead and let go of him. not this offseason really in the coming off seasonasons, but he’s still averaging 10 and 10 with two assists and a block and a half per game in 31 minutes. And that’s not to say he’s completely safe in the future because they did just draft Beer. But as for now, Rudiggo Bear is locked in as that center. Um TSJ and Jaylen Clark both played well last night. I am starting to get a little bit worried about Rob. It’s only his second year. He’s like 20, so nothing crazy yet, but a little bit of concern. With that being said, that’s going to be for today’s video. Make sure to like button, hit that subscribe button, uh leave me a comment down below. Let me know what you think about The Wolf so far. And with that being said, thanks so much for watching today’s video.

Been loving his driving this season
If they stop the embarrassingly bad turnovers, this team is solid.
If they can get a ball handling PG, then they’ll be a Threat to anyone outside of OKC
React to the suns
They still need a true PG, Ant and divotenzo are just playing bandage for a position of need.
Jaden has been buns idk what u see. The rest in true. Trade Jaden and Rob for Lamelo , Ja , or Garlund.
Lowkey gotta filter out that game ant got hurt he would be avg well over 30
dillingham doesn't get enough minutes, so I really can't judge his fg % because finch doesn't allow him to get into a rhythm. His defense isn't perfect, but you could tell he's playing very aggressively and does get steals.
And we back 🌲🐺
Fucking OKC gonna win again cause the flopping and foul baiting is worse than last year
The Timberwolves got YouTube reporters one week they’re horrible trash and when they do good the Timberwolves are a scary team.
Lets go get Ja or Young. Melo is fine! 😂 YESSSSS
It’s all for nothing OKC winning it all bro😭😭
ANTSTOPPABLE AGAIN !
