EP40 with Lekk finally

Legit one of the most hideous lineups I’ve ever seen as a Canuck fan. Jfc

Why can’t we have anything nice.
Holy shit Ep40 and Lekki is either gonna score 5 together or be -5 against the McKinnon line, there is no in between
No Garland again
Fuck it if we’re tanking anyways then may as well pump up Sherwood and Kanes value with top six deployment while giving Lekki prime opportunities with Petey and the PP
What else do we have to lose?
Quads was talking about how Lekkerimaki deserves consistent first line time and Harm pushed back saying you can’t have two shooters on the top line. let’s see how it goes
personally, if they’re gonna be play against the Mackinnon line, I’d like to have seen Kane-Ep40-Boeser and move DeBrusk up to the Kampf line for secondary defensive support
Making the most out of the roster here.
I like that they’re giving Lekkeremakki a chance next to EP40 & Kane. There’s a big opportunity for Lekkeremakki this season to show if he belongs in the NHL.
That Sherwood/Kampf/Boeser line should be able to hang defensively and take on some tougher assignments.
Lots of speed on the 3rd line, and then the 4th line is the Abby line. Fingers crossed Raty can start to find a bit more offence to his game and carve out a bigger role.
Bottom line and bottom pair defense will get 5 mins each tonight. Hughes playing 29:59 to keep his minutes down in a 6-2 loss.
These forward lines are embarrassing to look at.

Kampf as our 2nd line centre hurts my heart
Both Sasson and Raty have more offensive abilities than Kampf and I have no idea how Foote doesn’t see this
Remember when our centre depth consisted of Miller EP40 Lindholm Blueger…..

Foote is becoming a headache. Raty and Sasson can play better at 2C than Kampf. He has 0 points in six games. Come back Hogs plz…

Say what you want about the lines, but this team is just playing with a ton of heart and soul.
This roster is nowhere near competitive, so any win is a surprise.

I think Lekki will be a younger, faster version of Boeser pretty soon here, so if we’re able to find a top end LW to compliment him and Petey that could be a really good first line. Tonight though we’re gonna get absolutely dog walked.
