Anyone else think RipCityProject is nothing but clickbait ?

Always have been.
Crushing realization? they just played the kings with no one to guard Edey. Every big in the league should be going off for career highs against them. Whether it’s clickbait or not this shit is too reactionary
I’m sure Reese is a nice guy, but I quit reading articles with his name attached quite a while ago.
Love Clingan for what he does but I wanted Edey. Dude can shoot and moves better at the same size.
Not even a fair comparison. Edey is top 3 in PPG for Memphis. Clingan is like sixth for the Blazers.
Also, Edey got like 20 attempts and dropped 32pts. Clingan got 14 attempts and scored 22pts against GSW. I’d say they’re actually pretty even in their output. Could argue Clingan is “better” since he’s younger too.
At this point it is kind of objectively true the Blazers are bad at drafting under Cronin. Every year we have gotten mediocre results at best. Scoot has been a near disaster and Yang is off to a pretty horrible start.
Clingan is probably the best of the bunch and the man has no offensive game. There were a lot of signs Edey could have been better.
All these guys are still relatively young but I don’t know if any of them have shown to be high quality starters. Of our entire rebuild we have only got one guy (Deni) who is for sure that. Luckily we looks like a top-10 guy in the league so at least we have a direction to build around.
Their numbers are pretty similar and Edey has only played 8 games so far this season
About half of those article amount to “did the Blazers FO f*** it up? Let’s consider the notion.”
I really wish Google would stop jamming those stories into the start-page on my Chrome for Android install, and offer me stuff instead that I might actually read.
Then again, these days media are grasping hard for eyeballs and pennies. Not at all sure when that will change, either.
I have removed them from all my news feeds. I encourage all of you to do the same.

I literally just blocked Google from showing me their stuff a few minutes ago. Every article is the same: “blazers just realized they have a (insert player here) problem”. I’m convinced it’s all just AI generated ragebait

Every Fansided site is like this. They must have some sort of clickbait seo algorithm for writing headlines to be as vague as possible and they put out so many posts every day that some of them are things like Former Blazer Close To Return From Injury and you click and it’s about Zach Collins who is on the Bulls now or NBA Podcaster Says DeAndre Ayton is Better Than Donovan Clingan and you click and it’s some Lakers podcaster you’ve never heard of before and eventually you have to just stop clicking
