🚨THE TITANS ARE A TOTAL DUMPSTER FIRE

[Music] This team is an absolute joke week in and week out. It felt like over the last couple of weeks, the Titans were getting a little bit better. They were being competitive in some games. Cam Ward was looking, but then everything you took over the last couple of weeks, you just threw it right out the window against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Welcome in to Titans today by chat sports. I am your host Brett Alper and you can see right here didn’t do a recap. It was a little busy over the last couple days with Thanksgiving week, but you can see right here 25-3 and the Jags I don’t even think the Jags are that good despite their record of eight and four. Yeah. Yeah. Trevor Lawrence played fine. Bashil Tutin did not do much. Jacobe Myers had a good game. But you can see right here, no touchdowns. Tony Pard fumble. Jamir DK fumble. It was a disgusting performance on the field. It felt like the Titans couldn’t do anything. And it was all because of the head coach. And we’re going to get to the head coach, Mike McCoy, on just how bad his coaching is and why he shouldn’t even be considered. If you could fire the interim head coach, which I’m pretty sure you could, you should do that right now because it’s not even fun to watch this team. So, I’ll ask you guys before we get into the news that we got this morning. Are you still watching this team or have you kind of just said, “Uh, this is a lost cause. I know the Titans are going to lose at 1 and 10 so far this season or 1-1 I think now at this point. Are you still watching this team or are you just waiting for the NFL draft so the Titans can get the first overall pick? Let me know down in the comments section. We got this tidbit from Jordan Schultz this morning at about 900 a.m. and the Titans and veteran linebacker Kazir White have mutually agreed to part ways. He will go on waiverss and should become a free agent as he would be cleared. It was not much from him as his time with the Tennessee Titans on the practice squad, I might say. But White had 137 tackles, two and a half sacks, and nine tackles for loss with Arizona last season. He’s been dealing with a hamstring injury this past couple of games, which has sidelineed him for most of this year. But now, apparently, he is healthy and Jordan Schultz later said that Kaiser White asked for his release. He wanted to be cut from this Tennessee team. And honestly, with a guy that still is in the back half of his career where he thinks he has something left in the tank, do you really blame Kazir White for wanting to get released? He was sitting on the practice squad. He only got called up for one game for the Tennessee Titans, and that was against the Colts. And he really didn’t do much, but you could see he’s got the tangibles. He’s getting up there in age. He’s over 30, but 6’2, 216 pounds. He still thinks that he can play on an NFL roster. And instead of playing on a practice squad for a one and one win team, there’s really no point for him to be there. He says, “I got time. I have I can be able to play, so just let me go somewhere else because right now there’s nothing to play for and you’re not even playing me.” 32 snaps for him in his stats versus the Colts earlier this year in September. Three tackles, excuse me, one stop and a PFF grade of 46.0. And after that, he was dealing with a hamstring injury for the last couple of games. So, he wasn’t able to really play on the roster. But when you’re healthy, I would have said screw it. What do you have to lose? Just let him have fun out there at this point. Call him up and let him go. But this isn’t the first time this season that we’ve seen someone request a release. We literally saw it last week in Quandre Diggs and the Titans. I understood that one. I said, “Well, they’re going for younger. They have Xavier Woods. They have Kevin Winston Jr. that they’re playing.” Tyler Lockett requested a release. And he went to the Raiders. He went to the Raiders. So, you’re playing for the second worst team in the league. And you just didn’t even want to play for the Titans. But I can kind of understand why the Titans refuse to play Kazir White and just don’t play him in general because you have two linebackers already that are playing honestly pretty solid. The one bright point about this horrid defense, Cedric Ray has 118 tackles on the season, six tackles for loss, a sack, four pass breakups, and the PFF grade is actually good. And then Cody Barton, who came over from Denver, 62 tackles, four tackles for loss, seven pass breakups. He’s the linebacker that can go in coverage and he would definitely be playing better than Kazir White. But when you have three guys this season and probably more that have asked for a release, I mean, they traded away Roger McCreary, they traded away Draymond Jones, you traded away Jarvis Brownley Jr., when you have people asking for their release, it shows that no one wants to play for this team. No one wants to be a part of this Tennessee Titans team because one, they’re losing and two, there’s no bright future right now if you’re Kaiser White’s age that is at the back end of his career. This is a building process for the Tennessee Titans. And granted, I get it. White wasn’t helping this team at all. So, they said, “Sure, go out there and figure something out. You can go to whatever team you want. It’s going to be a work in progress.” We saw Mike Boranzi’s press conference a couple weeks ago. This isn’t a one-year type thing. This could be a two-year type thing. But do you want to go out there right now when you only think you got a year left? Because Kaiser White was barely on an NFL roster to begin with, but why does why don’t anybody want to play for this team? Well, because it’s bad coaching. It’s one thing about being bad and being on a one- win team, but sometimes like if you look at the New York Jets, they just got their third win. And Aaron Glenn, he’s got the vibes going a little bit at least. I know they’re the Jets are a laughingstock, but still you have teams that want to you have players that still want to be there, but no one in the locker room respects the coach. None of the players respect Mike McCoy as the interim head coach. And your two star players on the team after the loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars specifically called out Mike McCoy and threw shade at Mike McCoy. So, at this point, like I said, it’s a lost cause for the season, and there’s no point in even really wanting to play for this team at this point. So, I’ll ask you guys, do you respect Mike McCoy? Cuz it’s clear as day that the players don’t. It’s clear as day that the quarterback doesn’t, and it’s clear as day that your defensive player of the year candidate doesn’t respect Mike McCoy. So, go down in the comments section, give me an R for respect, or give me a D for don’t. I’m going to explain why these guys don’t respect Mike McCoy in a second. Cam Ward, he called out the head coach of the Titans after Sunday’s game. And this is not the first time where they’ve asked questions where they’ve asked Cam questions about his decision-m or Mike McCoyy’s decision-m and I don’t blame him because Mike McCoy has been way way too conservative for just a onewin team. And what exactly was Cam Word talking about? Well, here is his answer. They asked him about it and he says, “We need to go for it. I believe and responding to question about kicking a field goal on fourth and three when the game’s pretty much over. What do we have to lose? We talk about it all the time. Mike knows my mindset. I want to go for it. Yeah, I don’t blame Cam Ward. He is trying out there to win the football game. He’s trying to go out there and do whatever he can. And I respect Cam Ward. I respect his grind and still his dedication to this team on trying his hardest to try to get a win. And it takes going for it sometimes. This isn’t the first time though that this has happened where Cam Wart is getting tired and tired and tired of Mike McCoyy’s decision-making. You guys remember a couple weeks back when you didn’t go for it when the game was in your hands. I think it was against the Los Angeles Chargers and you had the opportunity to go down there and score a touchdown and maybe tie the game, but guess what? You didn’t. and you punted the football. And Cam Ward said on the sidelines, you could see the camera reading his lips, said, “What the f are we doing, Mike?” And all of us were asking the same exact thing. I already had a graphic made about how conservative Mike McCoy has been this entire season, and I just had to add to it. The three were already there. I added this one at the bottom. Not going for it on fourth to two at the 28. That’s where it came from from Cam Ward saying WTF. Then against the Texans after you scored the late touchdown, you decided to kick a field goal. Go for two at this point, man. Versus the Colts, you punted on fourth and three at the 40 when the game was almost over, but then you made it over after putting it away. And against the Jags on Sunday, you punted on fourth and one in the third quarter, down 18-3. Conservative doesn’t win you football games. conservative doesn’t win you head coaching jobs. You’re one and 10. You have nothing to lose. Go out there and try to upset teams. Go out there and try to ruin someone’s playoff chances. You are playing scared as hell. And it’s almost like, are you tanking? Are you trying to lose? Because I know that Cam Ward and Jeffrey Simmons aren’t trying to lose. And Jeffrey Simmons, he put the writing on the wall and said, “I ain’t having Mike McCoy be my head coach.” And this is what he said after the game. We have to have somebody that is going to change the culture around here when they hire a new coach. So clearly he doesn’t want Mike McCoy, which I don’t blame him, but coaching is everything in the National Football League. There are two teams that lead the AFC and the NFC right now in the NFL. The Chicago Bears are the leaders in the NFC. Who’s their head coach? Ben Johnson. When did he get to Chicago? This year. Oh, back in New England, who was one of the worst teams in football last year. They hired a new head coach in Mike Frabel. Yeah, we know all about him. You fired Frabel to get Brian Callahan. How’s that working out for you? The Patriots hire Frabel. They’re now the number one seed. Two firstear head coaches are the two number one seeds in the NFL. And also these two teams, not only are they having a first year coach, second year quarterback. Maybe the Titans can do that. Maybe the Titans could do it second year with Cam Ward. It’s a possibility. Nobody thought the Bears or nobody thought the Patriots were going to be the one seed after 13 weeks in the NFL with their secondyear quarterback, their first year head coach. But if the Titans can hire somebody that’s smart and can do the same thing, who knows what happened. It’s a quick turnaround and this could possibly happen for Tennessee.
