
On December 2, 1993, the first regular season meeting took place between the Los Angeles Kings and Mighty Ducks of Anaheim at a sold out Great Western Forum. Rick Knickle made 22 saves, and Jari Kurri scored two goals in a 3-2 win for the Kings.
