“I’m having fun, I’m having a lot of fun again. Yeah, this shit’s fun.” Anthony Black credits strong play to aggressive mentality shift, skill development (handles, shooting off the dribble, different finishes inside the arc) to Magic Coach Shammgod (from @BeyondTheRK)

  1. I love this kid. He was a boom bust type of player which made him tricky drafting at 6, but I knew if he reached a point where he started putting it all together, he would be a problem.

  2. Last year he was inconsistent with his aggressive takes to the rim but when he did he played well and so did we. Felt like he was figuring out when to be and when not to be. Seems like something clicked this year, like he’s not worrying so much and just playing.

Shammgod was a great pickup for us.

  3. I saw the growth last year even if it didn’t show up in the box score, and I was adamant that drafting him was going to pay off. Boy of boy, he’s playing like a 6moy and I still fight anyone who argues. Impact at both ends of the floor with much more consistency.
