That KAT extension is a scary proposition, you’re paying him 60+ mill for a guy already slow on defense and going into his mid 30s on that contract. That’s why if the Giannis move is there you do it.
Extended? What does that even mean? Isn’t he paid through 28 including his player option? What is there to extend?
I wouldn’t extend him either. Love KAT but 60m at his level and age is ridiculous.
I mean it makes more sense for the FO to have him decline his PO than to give an extension on top of his 61M in his final year

To be honest, not really against this. That potential extension would be an absolute albatross.
Basically everyone has taken somewhat of a discount other than OG. If Kat doesn’t they probably will look to move him.
