I’ve been working on a series of baseball hat paintings, and this Yankees cap has been one of my favorites to tackle. There’s something about the worn fabric, the stitching, and the history tied into that logo that makes it a great subject for realism.
Always fun trying to capture the kind of texture that makes people want to reach out and touch the painting. Thought some of you might enjoy seeing it!
Happy to answer any questions about the process, materials, or techniques.

Crazy talent (and im sure a lot of hard work), im jealous!
Damn, that’s amazing. I’ve always had so much respect for people that can do this — especially considering that my talents pretty much top out at stick figures.
Thanks for sharing!
