Well, today man, we got some interesting news coming out of Cleveland. Man, this is a developing story. Uh Mary Kay Cabbat, she was on 92.3 the fan this morning with Baskin and Phelps and she says some things surrounding around Shador Sanders and what does this mean for Dylan Gabriel? We’re going to talk about all that here next right after this. [Music] Well guys, we got some interesting news in coming out of Cleveland surrounding around Shador Sanders and Dylan Gabriel. Um, this is by way of 92.3 The fan baskin and Phelps radio show this morning and Mary Kay Kitten Brown’s insider was on there and she says some interesting things that was surrounded around Sidor Sanders and Dylan Gabriel. Now we all know Mary K cab’s been going back and forth trying to pick a side trying to be with Dylan Gabriel trying to be with Kevin Stfansky. Now she wants to be alongside Shador Sanders. But if you was already on that side, stay on that side. Mary Kay Cabin and we just going to listen to the report. But she did say some interesting things surrounding around Shador Sanders and Dylan Gabriel. Now we know Shador Sanders has got two NFL starts with the Cleveland Browns. Um this year he started against the Las Vegas Raiders and also the San Francisco 49ers. He has a record of 1 and one. He has two touchdown passes in two games as a starter and over 409 yards passing. And we saw what Dylan Gabriel brought to the table in his six and a half games and that was a sample size. But Mary Kay Kitt, she basically just said that the Cleveland Browns are done with Dylan Gabriel unless Shador Sanders goes down with the injury or something like that. She said that Dylan Gabriel probably will not see the field for the rest of the year. Then she also stated that that Dylan Gabriel will be back with the team next year, but it’s going to be hard pressed for him to get in as the quarterback unless something happens. And she was on 92.3 the fan today with Baskin and Phelps and she uttered these words. It was a lengthy conversation and basically in the first part of the conversation she did allude to that Dylan Gabriel’s time in Cleveland is done. Basically she was saying that it was supposed to be Kenny Picket’s job not Flaco. Then Dylan Gabriel was supposed to be the backup and then Shador Sanders was going to get some games in late. But what I’ve been telling you guys, why did it take so long for them to see that Dylan Gabriel was not the guy? Now all of a sudden Mary Kay Kitt is singing a different tune and knowing that Shador Sanders is the guy. And she’s saying that Cleveland Browns sees something in Shadore. Now guys, with that being said, let’s listen to what Mary Kay Cabis had to say on 92.3 The Fan on Baskin and Phelps. Let’s take a listen. shift to Shadore for a second. Um I thought the game plan particularly in the first half was was very sound on Sunday MK. I thought that you know they were not necessarily saving Shadore from himself but they weren’t going to put him in situations where he was going to throw the ball downfield in tough conditions um and and kind of you know dink their way down and then ran the ball and that that perfectly set up the touchdown pass. But as a whole, what did you think of his first start at home and his second start overall? Well, I think he’s showing some things and I just um posted a column about this and where I think this might be going and what the situation is. I think he’s showing some signs that perhaps maybe he actually can be a winning quarterback in the NFL. And the things that I see that make me believe this and why I think the Browns probably believe this to a certain extent is the fact that he does sort of have that it factor. He’s got a nice strong arm. He’s got the ability to evade the rush. He he’s showing some things. He’s got elite accuracy, a really nice touch on the ball. I think what makes this evaluation difficult is that the offense is horrible. And I think it’s hard for any quarterback right now. I think even an established veteran might have a tough time stepping in here and trying to function with the way that this offense has gone this season. I think a major reason for that is the fact that Jerry Jerry Judy for whatever reason is not himself this year. And remember Joe Flacco said as Jerry goes so goes this offense and it just hasn’t worked out this season. And I’m sure it has a lot to do with the quarterback upheaval but we saw the sideline confrontation between Shadore and Jerry. So when your number one wide receiver is not able to contribute in a meaningful way, it’s going to be tough on any quarterback. Uh but I think he has shown signs and he deserves a chance to keep going. I like the one week at a time thing. I like that because it keeps him hungry. The door has right I mean he he has a way of feeling like he has arrived after he wins a game whether it be preseason or regular season and he doesn’t need to be feeling like he’s arrived yet. He needs to stay hungry and just keep working at this. So, with all that said, where’s Dylan Gabriel stand in this? Listen, well, I wouldn’t be surprised if at some point they take a look at this and say, hm, maybe we could just use one more game or two more games of Dylan Gabriel for more data, uh, you know, heading into the season. I doubt that’s going to happen. I don’t think you’re going to see Dylan Gabriel on the field this season unless Shador has to come out of the game for one reason or another, gets hurt, can’t start a game, whatever. I think that it’s going to be Shador the rest of the way. Uh because I think they do see something in him and they want to know, do they need to draft a quarterback in April? They have to know that. And my whole column that I just wrote was about the fact that even if he starts the rest of these games, it’s still going to be difficult to know the answer to that question based in part on what’s going on around him on this terrible offense this season. Um, but so I think Dylan will be back with the team next year. Uh, I don’t know if he’s going to get much of an opportunity the rest of this year. Boy, now you heard what Mary Kay Kabis said, man. But what took Cleveland so long? Why did they waste an opportunity if they knowing what they see in Shadore? That Shador got the IT factor. What took them so long? Why did it take half the season and waste half the season on a quarterback that y’all thought that was going to come in and move the ball and get wins for y’all, but y’all was sadly mistaken. Y’all wasted half of the season to try to see what y’all’s third round draft pick had to offer. And basically all these insiders and all the media personnel out there in Cleveland, they have given up on Dylan Gabriel. So Mary Kay right there just stuck a fork in Dylan Gabriel. She said for some unfor, you know, seen situation that Dylan Gabriel would not see the football field again. for the Cleveland Browns. And then you heard what she said. He’ll be back with the Browns next year, but his opportunities are looking weakened, weaken, and weaken. That is crazy. A third round draft pick that y’all thought that was better than Shador Sanders. Y’all wasted all this time trying to evaluate his quarterback play. And now that Shadore gets in there in two starts, y’all know he got the it factor. Y’all should have been starting Shadore right out the gate after Joe Flacco was traded. Y’all wasted half of y’all’s season. Your season could have been saved. Barry Kay just said it. Cleveland sees it, too. The organization sees what they got in Shadore. It just took a long time for them to get to him. But like Shador always say, perfect timing. I see everybody in the comment section # salute.
