Blackhawks vs. Golden Knights | NHL Highlights | December 02, 2025

Eichel and Bedard in the circle. The
veteran Jack Eel wins the faceoff and we are underway. Shut around. Spencer Knight
check the rear view. Wraps it around the board off the draw. Faceoff won by Vegas to the
veteran Braden McNab who has played in more Golden Knights games than anyone in franchise
history. Fish swings it across and scores. Great Bowman might have got off the skate and
in. We will see. 27 seconds in. Vegas price. Well, this is the type of start you want
early and Barbashef attempting pass. And you can see this one clearly go off the skate,
but a good transition play by the Vegas Golden Knight. Starts with a clean breakout. He’s
attacking Barbese. That intended pass did not reach its recipient, but they’ll take
this result nonetheless. And we’ll watch for his handling of the puck. That’ll
be one of the telltale signs right away, weeks. Absolutely. Frank Nazar got it across.
Here’s Moore. Lets it go and he scores. Oliver Moore right back. Chicago ties
it. Less than 90 seconds in. Re one. Here come the Blackhawks in on transition and
nice puck movement going from side to side. Tyler Batusi spots Moore who’s a lefty coming down
the right side. And here is an even better look at it. Great vision by Bratusi. And Moore slings
this one against the grain. Turned right over. Eel able to squirt it free but nobody can get
home. Break it away. Here’s Donado. Takes a look. The backhand is stopped by Carter Hart. What
a penalty coming up. Set that play. And here are the Hawks doing a nice job of playing from the
boards and then coming through the middle. Dinado off to the races or so he thinks. And good back
pressure by Barbashev. He goes around to one side, tries to come back around and uh off the
stick and look out. Here’s Brandon side. He’s got a step on top. Here’s S. Backhand,
forehand save by Spencer Knight. Faceoff win. Bard gets the return feed. Let it go. What a
snap. And what a glove stop. Carter Hart is in the hockey game. And you know they’re going to
feature him on the power play. So he says, “Hey, I’m the best option here.” That’s a laser. Watch
how the back of the club snaps. Here’s what takes a look. Here’s Mner now. Stone there. How comes
over backhanded by Stone is stopped by Spencer Knight. Faced a really good opportunity here.
Watch the Vegas Golden Knights. That Stone on the wraparound. Spencer Knight does a nice job
of pushing over to his glove post initially as you’ll see here. Perfect head turn to locate
the threat. Spartner’s flying on the ship. He’s been great. Pretty quiet pusher. Pick it up
here. left hand save and then the globe save for Spencer Knight. And what a shift it was for
the Vegas Golden Knights. Speaking of which, but it’s Spencer Knight on this one. Beautiful
sequence. Vegas was buzzing. And there’s the initial deflection. Watch the head. Watch able
to work it down deep. See if he gets the OV treatment here. Got it through side of the net.
Oh, that shot was blocked. see the reaction. But watch this play by 44 and white Kaiser. Watch
here. Well, lazy carum off the boards. Hart had to be ready for that off the screen. Really
scrambly play. Hart gives it up. Bertusi shot and it goes. Carter Hart coughs up the puck and
Tyler Bertusi makes him pay and it’s 2-1 Chicago. two years away out of the NHL. I talk about timing
and reads and this is one of those 50/50 plays and Carter Hart thought he had a chance on it
which is why he went out to play it. Your first instinct’s usually your best but sometimes you
want to be a little more conservative in a play like that. A lot of time 90 seconds worth the
four on four. Here’s Bless and across the line. Theodore fell down and Blic banged it off the
outside of the post. We’re playing four on four. And here’s a shot from the angle. How’s your
elbow pad? Chicago blocked four shots on the penalty kill. And now 12 seconds left. The man
advance. Loose puck side of the net. Knight got the first one. Didn’t have to make a second
save. Vegas tonight’s getting to their set. Spencer Knight makes a save but couldn’t control
the rebound. In fact, he may have gotten that second one. That loose shave is available. Vegas
just unable to convert on it. Another opportunity from Martyr and Nazar comes out of the box. That
was deflected out of play with his blocker on McNav. There’s that. And that’s uncharacteristic
of how dominant they’ve been here right from the outset in their inaugural season. Of course, Vegas
had the one- nothing lead very early in the game. the skate it in. That might have gone in off of
Grizzling. We’ll see. But that’s how Vegas ties it and Hutton’s the first to get tapped up by
his teammates. Now they’re on their feet. You give them something to share about and they’ll
respond. Play to the corner. Good job sealing the wall. I want you to watch netfront. Stone gets
to the net front, but this is a simple play by Hutton. Shoot. You’ve got the lane. And this looks
like Stone may have deflected that getting inside Grizzlick. This will give us the definitive look
here. Watch Stone across the line. Look at this. Couldn’t make that one last move. Vegas set
up pretty well here. Here’s a chance shot and a glove save. Bowman got it away. The youngster.
That’s nice. Great defending. Good shift by Vegas, but good defending by Chicago. Gris got just
enough of the body in the stick. Now looking to break the other way. Look out. Here’s 98. It is
Bard. Cuts in, shoots, and scores. Are you kidding me? Conor Bard putting on a show in Las Vegas.
The entertainment capital of the world indeed. Watch this play by the Chicago Blackass.
I talked about good defensive detail. Now watch Conor Badar outside inside. He doesn’t need
to know this Presley costume to be a star here in Vegas. Number 98 in a Blackhawks uniform
is Chicago came in tonight one point out of the last wild card in the West. Side of the
net. That might have caught some iron, too. That save was clutch for Carter Hart right
now in the Vegas Golden Knights. We knew we’d have to make at least one more to keep it
a onegoal game. Give his chance team a chance. Here’s Eel. Maybe this is a chance in front.
He’s robbed by Spencer right. Rebound goes in, you know, get out of their defensive zone, get to the offensive zone and run a couple plays.
And it’s a youngster Bowman getting to the net. Lassic for Bedar. He’ll shoot that. Green
to the front. There’s Green. Lets it go. Stopped by Carter Hart. Big save by Carter
Hart there. Stick a more there on that back check. Classic the other way. Able to get it
across. Opportunity stopped by Carter Hart. That’s three saves. As Nazar will spin. They
got to give him a stick. He’s a defenseman. Lebanon for Nazar. Here’s Bernard shot.
Five saves over with the right pad. Michael got a stick on it. Play by Jack. Good
play by Jack. Back out the center. Stone’s got a stick. Got him. Here’s Stone. Let’s go. Great
save. Game on his stick. And a save by Spencer Knight. Incredible save. Incredible save by
Spencer Knight with the blocker. The guard looks exhausted. Couldn’t make that play. Nazar
centers. It’s a twoon one. The guard’s gastriz save by Spencer Knight. Classic got it to
Green. 9 seconds left in overtime. Green to the front. Deflected. Wow. Off the net. That’s
all happening. Reado faceoff win. Opportunity. Ryan Green lets it go. Another chance in
front. Carter Hart had to make that stop on Donado. That’s how overtime comes to an end.
First he can dangle. Terra Binan for Chicago first down and a save. Club save by Carter Hart
and he’s trying to get him to bite but Carter Hart ever so patient and the club is for taking
the angle on Spencer Knight shot and he scores. a backhand and lifted it up. Pavl Dora FV.
Really good patience here by Dora Favv on the backhand. And I told you that’s it’s
a different look for the goalies and Conor Bard’s night. Can he make it continue? Bard
on. What a move. What a goal. Conor Bard. Conor Bard takes this puck for a lock. Foot
over. Oh my gosh. Jack Eel the other way. try and even things up and he can’t. Knight
makes the save on Jack Eel and Spencer Knight does not bite at all. Look at how patient
and his glove goes forward too. Mitch Mner on Spencer Knight. Not today all over it against
Jack Eel or Mner. Two of the best players in the league. He’s got speed. Looks like he’s
going to slow it down. All right, Carter Hart, but he opted to slow it down. Kind of took away
from one of his best attributes, but we see a defenseman in the shootout for the first time.
Sha Fodor, impressive career shootout numbers. He’s smooth with it. Chance to lock it off
here. He can win it for Vegas. Back hand score. Jay Theodore wins it for Vegas in the fourth
round of the shootout. And welcome back, Carter Hart. My gosh. Watching on ESPN Plus
for the first time. This is unbelievable. You’re hooked forever. You’re hooked forever.
Look at the range. The range of Theodore. And he’s one of the most gifted skaters. He skates
like the great Scott Nethermire, by the way. And wears his number. And then, of course, the
poise to score that goal. the bedum. Everybody
